Oh no! Chu Qiao is wearing the gold armor! Damn it! @Linh, you know what I'm talking about! Dang it. Ok, now I don't know what's going on. I just want to see Yuwen Yue more. And I want to see him with Chu Qiao happy even more.
I am about to rip my heart out waiting for Xing'er to finally finally finally return to Yuwen Yue and fight…
Yeah, I really feel like this lack of emotion by Chu Qiao is due to acting short-comings on the part of ZLY and not necessarily Chu Qiao's character. I think ZLY has done an amazing job on this drama, and I've always been a fan of hers, but I definitely think her acting skills are a bit lacking. I mean, she's still a pretty good actress compared to other actresses out there but in this drama where you have actors like Lin Geng Xin and Shawn Dou who are formally trained actors and both graduates of film schools, her acting shortcomings/lack of depth really shows.
I was really hoping that the lake scene would happen this week, because than I'll know that they didn't…
As long as they meet after the frozen lake and live happily ever after with more kisses and rough n' tumble bed scenes and kids, I'll be happy!!! Is that too much to ask for?? :)
I do think they'll end this happily just based on the book. I don't buy it that they end it at the frozen lake scene and they literally made only 1.5 of the book chronologically. It just goes against every production logic out there. The rumor of the second season was mainly due to ZLY's comments, but I think her comments may have been taken out of context. First, neither ZLY or any cast member will give away the ending and with so many people having read the book, her comment that they stopped filming at the lake would've been a giveaway. I've heard this question asked of actors before and they're usually talking about their last shoot, which is usually not the last scene of the drama bc most dramas shoot outdoor/locations scenes first for many reasons (weather, cost, availability, transport of cast and crew, etc.), then they shoot all the set scenes. Second, her comment that they shot only 1.5 of the book prob just means they didn't shoot it completely, not that they literally stopped 1.5 way into the book, that would just be silly and make no story telling sense, even for C-dramas.
I could be totally wrong on all this, and if I am then I guess I don't understand Chinese drama production very well. But for all of our sakes, I hope I'm right and our two love birds get a happy ending. I totally agree that the Chinese are way too obsessed with having sad, or realistic as they apparently think about them, endings. They do this in movies, dramas, all over the place. They need to stop and give us more happy ending! Starting with Yuwen Yue and Chu Qiao!
did he just say "someone wants to kill my girl?"> :-) (screaming)
Thanks! I haven't watched it since Episode 45! I know! I've been holding out just watching the clips here and there because I think my head will explode with these episodes! So I wanted to wait until tomorrow's episodes are all subbed so I can watch them over the weekend all at once and have my head explode all at once, instead of one episode at a time!! These past few episodes with YWY and CQ... eeekkkk! You can cut the sexual tension with a knife! These two just need to go and make some babies, now!!!
I was really hoping that the lake scene would happen this week, because than I'll know that they didn't…
I hope so too! Let's both keep our fingers crossed! I'm going to give myself a shout out for having watched too many dramas if it does play out that way! :)
The math doesn't seem to work. If they said 68 episodes for the TV version, and tomorrow they're airing 55, 56, then plus 8 for the regular schedule next week puts them at episode 64.That means they are 4 short. In order to end on August 1, they would have to do 2 episodes each day on 7/31 and 8/1. If they are doing only one episode for 7/31 and 8/1, that leaves them two short. So they will have to air through 8/3 if they are really doing one episode for the final week. Otherwise, they will have to keep their 2 episodes a day schedule to make the full 68 episodes. Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm going to be super sad when this drama ends, but also sort of happy because I will no longer be obsessed and glued to YouTube! :)
Not sure what I will be open to watching after Princess Agents ends. I've been waiting forever for Color of Night (Siege in Fog) to start. I really like Sun Yi and this premises looks interesting but they keep pushing the release date back. Anyone have info on this? Maybe this can be a new obsession for our Princess Agents community. :) At least, before Tribes and Empires starts with Yan Xun.
I hope we will be able to see Lin Geng Xin and Zhao Liying in a drama soon! I know ZLY has a drama and a movie coming out but I'm not sure what's on LGX's schedule. He seems to be less active than ZLY. I really do hope that some production company somewhere decides to put these two together in another drama of movie soon given Princess Agents popularity. The good news is, China seems less adverse to starring popular couples in subsequent dramas and movies, unlike Korea.
now that the kiss scene is over, nothing to look forward anymore. I am wondering what kind of trailer they will…
I read the translation and feel sad that Chu Qiao basically told YWY that there is nothing between them and she has to go to YX, and YWY is like, ok, so everything was just my wishful thinking. I feel sad for YWY. I wish CQ will give him an inch, I guess she just won't know her own feelings until she reunites with YX and YWY is "killed" at the lake.
So no one is subbing 2 episodes a day anymore. It's not even July 30th and we're down to 1 episode a…
Yeah, I agree. I feel bummed about this. I'm watching the unsubbed tv version but it's too much military strategy and intrigue so it's harder to understand.
I was really hoping that the lake scene would happen this week, because than I'll know that they didn't…
This is my personal take but I don't think the drama will end on the lake scene. Don't we still have that one scene left from the trailers where YWY is in a black mask and holding an unconscious Chu Qiao in a gold battle armor? Chu QIao is usually in blue and silver armor for Yanbei. I think we've seen gold armor associated with the Wei state. And also, why is his face covered? I have a feeling he manages to survive the lake, but Chu Qiao thinks he is dead, and he comes to rescue her again on the field but wearing the mask because he is supposed to be dead to the world. Something like this. It could happen quickly, in an episode or two, so we still have hope! :)
Yeah, they should just go back to subbing the TV version instead of giving us this BS with only HALF of a new episode today but "labeling" - incorrectly as episodes TV 51-52. There is NO part of Episode 52 in the uncut version. I'm so annoyed.
why is there only one uncut version today? Now i understand why he keeps calling her Xinger. hahah, he said to…
But that's BS. Because today's episode was essentially only HALF of an episode. They had already aired the first half of Episode 46 (uncut) in Episode 50. So it wasn't anything new for the first half of Episode 46, only that it was Eng Subbed. So their "labeling" saying it's Episode 51-52 is just not true. It's only part of Episode 50 and and part of Episode 51. There is NO part of Episode 52 in Episode 46. So tomorrow they will just show a part of Episode 51 and a part of Episode 52?? WTF. I feel cheated!!! Why don't they just go back to Eng Subbing the TV version instead?? The picture quality seems better for the TV versions these days anyway.
It's bad enough that I feel that they are rushing now and trying to cram everything in towards the end (despite the fact they wasted like 10 episodes on Yan Xun trying to escape Chang'an), PLUS they have announced that they'll only air a single episode towards the end, PLUS now you see ads in the middle of the episodes, we only get HALF an episode per day?? It's SUCH BS that it's really getting me annoyed. Hey Hunan TV - now I'm definitely NOT going to watch the next drama that follows Princess Agents since you're trying to pull all these gimmicks. So annoying.
THIS KISS
him telling her he needs her ohh YWY <3333
But it looks like they released only one episode again, Ep 46. It says TV 51-52 but that's not true. The TV Ep 52 is aired but we don't have an equivalent so it's like we're only getting one Uncut version episode a day as versus the two we had been getting. It's annoying.
Oh wow, ok, I just figured out who the guy in the all black that killed (or had ordered to kill) Chu Qiao's mom is. It's Luo Xi - the guy in the wheelchair on the boat who saved Chu Qiao per Xiao Ce's request. The jade ring! He was wearing a jade ring on his thumb and so was the guy that ordered Luo He's death and fought with Chu Qiao when she was lured to jail break her mom (remember the flashback in the cave in episode 17). The plot thickens!
THIS KISS
him telling her he needs her ohh YWY <3333
She clearly was NOT resisting either the kiss or the hug. You know our girl, if she isn't into the guy she would've thrown him to the ground even before he had a chance to do anything.
