I agree, these commercials are getting ridiculous! At first they started with a couple in the middle, now they're in the beginning, end, and at least 2 in the middle. WTH?? Defeats me paying extra for YouTube Red!

Frankly, I'm really tired of Chun'er scenes. I feel like they wasted SO much unnecessary time on Chun'er. Like 3 or 4 episodes in the last week! Come on! YWY has been relegated to a few scenes where he is writing letters all the time and Chun'er gets all that?? He's one of the main characters?? And there is so much to wrap up still so why bring up this old news? The director's clearly gone nuts.

Yes, I know. Realistically, yes. She could've stayed at Liang but even that makes her seem kind of shifty and given her remaining obligations to the people of Yanbei and the Xiuli army. But STILL! Why did they have to wait until the end for our pair to finally be on the same page??

I understand CQ's position, and I know that YWY understands CQ's position too and that's why I've been patient all this time, but to end it like this?? That's just too much! They needed at least a few more episodes to wrap up properly!

I feel like there is still so much story to tell. It would've been a rush job with them just wrapping up Chu Qiao's backstory and her and YWY's relationship in the last 10 episodes, but no~~~, they had to waste so much of that time with irrelevant stuff: Xiuli army (fine, we get it, YX betrays CQ and she's mad at him), the wooden bird pen pal things (yawn, I don't care anymore), Chun'er (been there done that). And they only spent like 10 minutes on Chu Qiao's backstory with scenes we'd pretty much seen before and in a flashback! How lazy! I would've rather seen that for a whole episode instead Chun'er's craziness for 2 episodes!

They wasted so much of the episodes. And now I'm annoyed bc I watched the preview for the final episode and it's like, WHAT??? You're putting all that in the final episode?? WHY?

This series could have EASILY used another 10 episodes to wrap up the ending properly. With some more love time between YWY and CQ!

She better make it up to YWY somehow. He has suffered so much! And even at that frozen lake scene back in Ep 56, she said she owes YWY so much but can't pay him back. That's almost like saying she doesn't love him so she's sorry?? They totally haven't made Xing'er's feelings 100% clear even yet. She better make it pretty damn clear tomorrow!!

Me too! WTF! And Xing'er saying she won't leave him now??? Well hell, he's about to die so you can't help but leave him! You should've stayed with him when he kissed you and said he needed you! Xing'er!! You're so frustrating! They need to bring Lin Gengxin and Zhao Liying back for a Season 2 just so they have more sweet time together!! This is so not fair! Poor Yuwen Yue!

What the hell show!!! I just saw the trailer for tomorrow! WTF??? Yuwen Yue better come back alive. How could Chu Qiao wait so long to acknowledge her love for him? He had to wait and suffer for so long! They better not end it with him dying. I'd be willing to forgive them if they have her bring him back using her regained powers and they end up together at the end. That's all. I've really lowered my expectations now. That's all I want! Just for them to be together!

Yes, but I don't like endings that are made sad for the sake of being sad. That's my problem. I think a story should follow the plot and character arc. If the plot and character arc demands that the ending be sad, then that's fine. But many times with C-dramas and movies, the sad ending is forced even though nothing in the story demanded that it be sad and a happy ending was just was plausible and logical. That's what I have a problem with. I want my endings to make sense, to be satisfying and yes, I prefer happy endings to sad ones, but overall I just want the story to be wrapped up and completed. It's like a Charles Dickens story I guess. Not all his stories have happy endings, and there is tragedy along the way, but he ties up the story and every crumb of a detail, in a logical way consistent with the story and characters. That's all I'm asking for. That's all I want! Ok, yes, and for Princess Agents, I want super happiness between Yuwen Yue and Chu Qiao with lots of laughing and kisses and babies and pink dresses! Why? Bc by god they deserve it!! Now, is that too much to ask, is that too hard to provide??? I think not.... personally speaking...

Does Chu Qiao EVER find out all the times YWY saved her, including this one? WTH. If it weren't for YWY, Chu Qiao would have died a dozen times already. Why doesn't this girl know that?? I thought she was smart!

It's such a subtle point, but it's like in the first few episodes of the drama. In Episode 4 I think, (the one where Xing'er becomes his bedchamber maid and falls asleep in the bed), YWY goes and takes out a box which has the bird in it. He writes a letter and talks about how "younger brother" is the only one he can truly to speak to about life and etc. Then, in episode 11(?) where Princess Liang first comes to Chang'an (the lantern festival day), she says to herself, "Brother Yue, I'm finally in your city Chang'an, but I hope I don't see you because then I will have to kill you." But it didn't seem like they knew what the other looked like. Then later, we see Princess Liang with the same bird, I think episode 18, she goes back to the inn after her attempt to lock up YWY and CQ in the cave fails, to find the bird she left behind. Those are the only crumbs the drama left behind about the bird and these two. I have a feeling they were going to go somewhere with YWY and Princess Liang and have that be something of a love triangle with Chu Qiao but dropped the idea - maybe because they're running out of episodes and they can't possibly tie up all loose story ideas in time! Ugh. This drama.

They think he's dead for 2 years??? What the heck. What did he do during that time? What did Chu Qiao do during that time? Good grief... this drama should've been a lot longer. WTH.

@Viktomani - I agree. Yuwen Yue is way too smart and way too strong for any one person to take down. I have a feeling that they will trick him involving Chu Qiao so that even if he knew that it was a trick, he'd be forced to go and protect her because he'll know that someone may actually try to kill Chu Qiao otherwise. And during that scene they'll both fall in the lake, and YWY pushes CQ out. I'm hoping that the shock of YWY dying will shake Chu Qiao so much that she will regain all her memories and powers and will annihilate everyone and save YWY! Ok... probably wishful thinking....

Yes SueLee, I agree. There is WAY too much dialogue and fighting going on. I feel like they lost the pacing of the drama. It's like, we get it, let's move on to stuff that the fans really care about - although I do love the badass Chu Qiao - more YWY and CQ sweet moments! There's barely been any in this drama compared to others. I mean the middle 20 episodes barely had them in the same scene but for a few minutes per episode. WTH!
