Does Chu Qiao EVER find out all the times YWY saved her, including this one? WTH. If it weren't for YWY, Chu Qiao would have died a dozen times already. Why doesn't this girl know that?? I thought she was smart!
can anyone explain me about the bird that Yuwen Yue has and Princess of Laing state? why they both have the same…
It's such a subtle point, but it's like in the first few episodes of the drama. In Episode 4 I think, (the one where Xing'er becomes his bedchamber maid and falls asleep in the bed), YWY goes and takes out a box which has the bird in it. He writes a letter and talks about how "younger brother" is the only one he can truly to speak to about life and etc. Then, in episode 11(?) where Princess Liang first comes to Chang'an (the lantern festival day), she says to herself, "Brother Yue, I'm finally in your city Chang'an, but I hope I don't see you because then I will have to kill you." But it didn't seem like they knew what the other looked like. Then later, we see Princess Liang with the same bird, I think episode 18, she goes back to the inn after her attempt to lock up YWY and CQ in the cave fails, to find the bird she left behind. Those are the only crumbs the drama left behind about the bird and these two. I have a feeling they were going to go somewhere with YWY and Princess Liang and have that be something of a love triangle with Chu Qiao but dropped the idea - maybe because they're running out of episodes and they can't possibly tie up all loose story ideas in time! Ugh. This drama.
HELOOO ALL MY FRENSS!! i heard some of u guys mentioned about Yuwen Yue is gonna be dead? how is he gonna die??…
They think he's dead for 2 years??? What the heck. What did he do during that time? What did Chu Qiao do during that time? Good grief... this drama should've been a lot longer. WTH.
Can someone tell me how Yuwen Yue gets into the river where he is supposed to die because honestly I'm not…
@Viktomani - I agree. Yuwen Yue is way too smart and way too strong for any one person to take down. I have a feeling that they will trick him involving Chu Qiao so that even if he knew that it was a trick, he'd be forced to go and protect her because he'll know that someone may actually try to kill Chu Qiao otherwise. And during that scene they'll both fall in the lake, and YWY pushes CQ out. I'm hoping that the shock of YWY dying will shake Chu Qiao so much that she will regain all her memories and powers and will annihilate everyone and save YWY! Ok... probably wishful thinking....
I'm really disappointed that Yuwen Yue didn't die in today's episode yet. Ohhhhhmyyyygossshhhhh.…
Yes SueLee, I agree. There is WAY too much dialogue and fighting going on. I feel like they lost the pacing of the drama. It's like, we get it, let's move on to stuff that the fans really care about - although I do love the badass Chu Qiao - more YWY and CQ sweet moments! There's barely been any in this drama compared to others. I mean the middle 20 episodes barely had them in the same scene but for a few minutes per episode. WTH!
I have a feeling I'm going to be epically disappointed in the ending. WTF already!
That's what I've been doing too but C-Dramas and movies are just so damn unpredictable when it comes to endings... this is one reason why I'd watch a K-Drama over C-Dramas sometimes. No matter how formulaic, they'll have a satisfying ending!
This drama is starting to make me angry! We literally have 8 episodes left and so many shit still needs to happen…
There is so much untold still: (1) Chu Qiao's background and the importance of her being Luo He's daughter and the Master of the Wind and Cloud - they made this the whole point of the story for the first 20 episodes! They even started the drama with that story so are they just going to ignore it?? (2) YWY's connection to Princess Liang and that toy bird - I thought they would've brought that up a long time ago! (3) YWY's background and the death of his mother. They had a whole episode on that when he broke in to the Red Hills Court and took away the Third Wife. Did they just decide to leave that? (4) Most importantly, what's going to happen to YWY and CQ!
Personally, I do think they had enough to show that CQ loves YWY. This drama is all about subtleties and they had so many scenes with CQ and YWY in a "romantic" way - as versus talking about war and strategy which is the only thing YX and CQ talk about - that it's clear that CQ and YWY are the couple and CQ loves him too. She's had too many scenes late at night in her bed thinking about YWY for it to not be so. And she even showed jealousy when she thought YWY was going to spend a night with that beautiful massage girl - in fact, she didn't even leave that night but stayed. When YWY asked what you didn't leave yet? She was like, yeah well you said there are a lot of people outside trying to catch me. Like that kind of stuff ever stopped her. I do love the drama's attention to detail to things like this, that's why it's unbelievable to me that they're going to F up the ending like this! How can they possibly wrap this story up in like 8 episodes?? It's not possible!
I found this video on youtube and it's a compilation of our ice man YWY's many stoic looks and bad ass…
Thanks for posting! I love it! I can't imagine anyone else playing Yuwen Yue. The transformation is so incredible. I'm watching Let Me Go Baby, a variety show with Lin Gengxin, and he is SO different that I feel like Yuwen Yue is just a totally different person, not just a character.
This drama is starting to make me angry! We literally have 8 episodes left and so many shit still needs to happen…
I'm 100% with you all. They're clearly going to rush the ending and end it right in the middle of the book like everyone predicted and then do a Season 2 with a completely different cast. What the hell! I'm totally boycotting a Season 2 if it's with a different cast. Like, what, are we so dumb that we can't tell Chu Qiao and YWY look completely different? They wasted so much time in the beginning and now I feel like they're not even rushing, they're playing this out like there is another 20 episodes to go! WTF??!?! I'm so angry at this drama right now, I'm so disappointed.
I swear I'm looking everywhere in youtube trying to find video where yuwen yue falls into the lake. I'll…
Exactly. I think we're all going to be disappointed in the ending. What the hell!! They could have easily let this drama go to a 100 episodes. They wasted so much time in the beginning on Yan Xun. I'm going to be so annoyed with this drama if it ends the way everyone is predicting is going to end, and they try to pull a Season 2 with a completely different cast. They can only redeem themselves if they can somehow pull the same cast together for Season 2.
Dang it, I'm running out of Lin Gengxin things to watch. I've already watched all his movies. And I just can't stomach the girl in God of War, no matter how good LGX looks in the drama. She's such a terrible actress, I understand she's a Girl's Generation pop star but doesn't mean the girl can act. Besides, after watching him with Chu Qiao... I can't watch him with anyone else. I wish more of the variety shows are subbed...I'm already dreading the Post-Princess Agents withdrawal...
Can someone please tell me whether Yue Qi dies or survives? I saw a youtube clip of his instagram photo where he's all cut up. Then I realized, oh no! Yue Qi could be collateral damage! No! Does Yue Qi survive in the books? I know it's a spoiler so please click the box and please do tell!
Also, is it just me or do some of the comments get deleted or disappear?
I don't understand CQ?? She see the people in yanbei, and still believe YX and try to excuse him. But when…
I'm going to have to agree. YY may have been secretive with her in the past, but since the three years he's been nothing but caring to her, even lying to the emperor for her sake (when he didn't rat them out about stealing the artifacts from the royal tombs) and risking his life to save hers over and over again. The other men in her life, including YX, have all relied on her and she has had to save them. Only YY has regularly looked out for her interest, even from the beginning, saving her from the wolves, teaching her kungfu so she can defend herself against Jinzhu, saving herself from Yuwen Huai multiple times, and etc. I just don't get it. This is where her sense of loyalty is overboard and borders on blind stupidity - as YY would say.
omg on the teaser for next monday's episode CQ: Tell Yan Xun, if I die, he doesn't need to avenge my…
I'm holding out hope @Linh! Don't give up hope! Remember, we still have Chu Qiao's big reveal as Luo He's daughter and her still hidden super duper water freezing and moving power to be revealed! Anything can happen! I'm still holding out for a happy ending!!
And @krystalsoojungs - when you have free time, can you respond to Linh about what happens after the frozen lake part here so we can all read it - just marked as spoiler of course. Thank you!!!
By the way, Good Grief! Chun'er really loses it, doesn't she? It's so drastic that's it's…
Admittedly, I haven't watched the latest episodes - I'm holding out for Saturday to binge - but if she took all the soldiers from Chang'an, doesn't she leave it relatively defenseless? Doesn't seem like the best idea...

I'm getting so annoyed again.
