i feel like the ending was really exciting and it was cool how all the pieces came together. but on the other hand, it kinda spat in the face of ran fang xu’s character? like his whole thing was seeing missing person cases to the end because of his parents. but then digging into the 18th floor case just led him to the path of death. he got nothing out of it besides learning the person he wanted to find was the one who did it all and killed him. even worse is that he only died because he investigated further. but still, it would have been weird for him to marry xiao qiao without knowing the truth. just a tragedy for him in all ways lol
happy 6th anniversary to the start of filming back in 2020… if only they were able to release it in 2021 at the same time as WOH. genuinely hurts to think about.
So...... i really don't want anyone to lose hope but one reason that this drama would never release cause these…
it’s not released bc of the BL ban… no other reason. luo yunxi was already known before he was cast for this so the fame isn’t a problem. the studio and investors would absolutely release it if it was legal just to make their money back.
Even this series are heavily censorship why can’t they released it just like The Untamed and Word of Honor,…
kill to love was released in singapore so it bypassed censorship. the ban on BL adaptions in mainland is still in effect sadly with no signs of improvement :(
i don’t know much about dance but i feel like people are being a little unfair about machida’s dancing in this. like he’s supposed to be stiff with the latin dance part but he danced/acted as someone who’s a stiff character but still a good dancer who can pick it up quickly? that was my impression at least.
i also think he was extremely captivating in as a ballroom dancer… usually when i see partners do ballroom dance, my eyes are locked in on the female partner. but for him, he owned the stage as the ballroom guy.
