I am watching both dramas, but so far I am enjoying Destiny brings Demon more somehow. It is my first time watching the FL of Destiny brings Demon, and I love the ML of this show, and I love the leads of Moonlit reunion as well. This show has a better rating probably because more episodes have come out and the FL’s office slacker attitude is funny and novel for a xianxia. As for moonlit reunion, the show might become more interesting once the leads discover what each of them is hiding.

True that! The ML is so so sensible and composed, while our FL throws tantrums and has a crazy temper. Two people getting to live ten years of their lives together, and both with such different attitudes! I wouldn’t even like the FL this time around if I was the ML. And I have forwarded all scenes with the brother and FL’s arch nemesis, they seem to be just eating up screen time and are super irritating.

True that! Somehow, modern dramas are interesting till the leads get together, and tend to drag out once they are together. It has happened to me as well in many modern dramas, I dropped many of them in the romance period.

I totally agree. She also technically hasn’t told him. SHe probably doesn’t remember her drunken admission of her being from the past. The ML has been acting so sensible all this time, and I expect the FL to do the same. If she is just throwing a tantrum, I hope it is over soon. Also, I am irritated by her insistence on not making their relation public. Hope episode 20 is better, fingers crossed!

So far she has not, well technically, but she has hidden her agenda from the FL for sure. She wants to kill Sima Jiao, I’m sure if the FL knows it she won’t keep confiding in her everytime.

I am so angry at Ruling for manipulating Mr Snake, her sister was evil enough, but she at least doesn’t hide her agenda. What Ruling is doing is beyond evil. Episodes 11 and 12 were heart renching!

I loved Arthur Chen in Lighter and Princess, and although I have loved Zhang Jingyi in so many shows after that, somehow Arthur’s Chen’s last drama Eat Run Love failed to work for me, I didn’t even feel like starting it. This drama I started after reading a few comments here, and I am so so happy I am liking it so far. Chen Feiyu looks super handsome and his voice is killer! THis is my first time watching the FL, and she seems okay to, love the laid back office worker attitude of her character!

I’ve started it, I’m on ep 2 right now. The FL gives stalker vibes and the ML doesn’t seem interested :) They’re both looking good so I’m continuing.

I am in a drama slump right now. Will give Deep Affection Eyes a try. Thank you for the suggestion.

I know the middle episodes drag a bit, but I somehow pushed through them and finished the show. what are you watching now?

Have you seen Always Home? I just finished watching it and really liked it a lot!

I avoided watching this drama for months, because I am just not into high school romances, but now that I’ve started it, guess it will become my favourite in the high school friends to lovers trope. I’ve watched 15 episodes so far, and while I love all the characters, I just can’t seem to like the character of the second female lead. Nothing against the actress, but the character seems to have been written as a toxic one. She is possessive, is unkind to anyone she suspects to be interested in her love interest, and isn’t even a good friend. She ignores the FL for so long, and then suddenly misses her and our softie FL accepts her again, no questions asked. I quiet like the character of the second lead, and I seriously don’t want to see him end up with this girl. Anyone who has the same thoughts as me?

I’ve been patiently reading till now, but I guess I will start skipping parts now, since the book is dragging and slow now. Ill let you know when I’m done with the story. This is my first novel about a drama I am yet to watch. I’ve read MXTX’s books, and Sue Lynn Tan’s, since they were available as physical books translated in English. I never knew of websites like mydramanovel where one could read english translations of books that have been made into dramas. Whenever I used to read discussions on MDL about a drama with reference to the novels, I was in awe that so many people know mandarin, just to be able to read the novels! I was so dumb!

Then I guess I’ll keep reading :)

I also thought she looks and sounds like Bai Lu :) In fact, I love that her voice is not childish and that she delivers her dialogues with some speed which makes them look natural.
