NOW!!! I’ve had it in my watchlist for some time, and I started watching it just because I was bored and waiting for new episodes of other shows I was watching. This drama truly surprised me! Amazing chemistry from the not-so-popular actors, and a good political intrigue. This show might be one of the best period dramas of last year!

In some communities it is fine, but most communities do not allow cousins to marry. The scientific explanation might be to avoid genetic disorders resulting from same gene pool marriages. I belong to a Hindu family, and in my community, even distant cousins cannot marry.

The traditions are somewhat similar in India as well. Same clan marriages were prohibited historically, same surnames couldn’t marry.

Same here! I loved her most in Who rules the Worls, and then The Last Immortal was so good! Story of the Pearl girl was again average, but I loved her more than the FL in The Long Ballad.
