Hmm! Jiang Maggie... she's better than Tiffany, Angela, and Ying Er... Finally!...A Wallace drama I can look forward…
Yeah, at least she can have more than one expression on her face, or the wide-eyed doe look, unlike the other 3. So I believe chemistry will be good...
and Wallace always shines and makes the hero an irresistibly perfect man.
Let's hope she can do the same for the heroine, although the Chinese writers often make the women too childish (yet strong n smart o.O), not as admirable as the hero :(
This is a really good drama and Wallace is great in it. There is a few people watching it???
Hey, just wanted give encouragement to your team to PLEASE continue subbing this wonderful drama....
Chinese dramas have finally started to be more popular, here on MDL, thanx to the new subbed ones that came out .. Yeay!!!.... and Wallace is getting more and more recognition here, as well..<3
So, your hard work will be greatly appreciated by many of the new (& old) fans.
I saw Ep. 1&2 and cant wait to see the rest...Again, Thank you for ur time & effort :D

Wallace plays a Prince Charming !?! ... He'll be perfect!!!.... Very excited *__*
Things I loved - -Great acting from the leads (and the actor who plays pee, but not so much anyone else) -Both…
"the director for coming up with a million stupid reasons just to have Pong take off his shirt"...LMAO!!! I just saw this on YT and thought of ur comment: Title: We love Por (Pong) from PNGRT With or WITHOUT his Shirt...hahaha!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3pmcLCY8Fo
P.S. I agree w/ all u said ... good n accurate review;)
Dramatic. Very Dramatic. LOL the 2nd lead needed psychiatric help due to her mad obsession.
Please give me link, if u watched it w/ subbs....
Or, at least link to Raw ... I'll watch raw to compare to newer version... I usually prefer the older lakorns anyway!
The minute I saw this article on MDL main page, I knew it was u who wrote it. hehehe :D
I am so eager to start NiF, and will add the other dramas u raved about.
I've seen ur raves about him, and went to the famous fansite u talked about, and read a bit about him.
I read somewhere that he's from central China and, as u said, he uses his own voice in dramas.
How is that possible?? ... I also read that C-dramas are usually dubbed in the Beijing accent, so he must have adapted well to the accent.
I once asked a native speaker about accents, and he explained that accents vary so much, actors don't bother, it is easier to just dub. Do u know the answer?
P.S. Great job, not just fangirling, but makes one want to watch him! *thumb up*
Very nostalgic indeed !... Nice article, glad u included the iconic Won Bin and some classic dramas. ... I agree, nothing compares to Daoming Si and the best F4 bromance in MG.
"Remember your life before dramas? Me neither, but I bet it was boring." .... hahaha, true.
i like both j and k dramas (haven`t tried a chinese one yet and t-dramas just feel like riding a car with snails…
Wow!!! ... I don't get why they don't have pre-production ... It is about the guarantee for the investors I think.:P
Makes me want to stay away from K-dramas even more.
Last line: Lee min No ...LMAO!
I HATE Jdrama male hair styles that sometimes appear, these stiff and really fake ones..
I like the J-actors' scruffy hair ... prefer it more than the overly stylized K-style ... K-actors always have the latest fad style, and they all wear it, all the same!
I really like this article, you did research and made some good points.
Although I have not seen many J-doramas, it is only recently that I got into a phase of wanting to watch more ...
So from the point of view of someone that avoided them for a while, here's my two cents:
1. Beauty is (shallow but important point) "in the eye of the beholder"--- K-actors may be taller w/ more buff bodies, but almost all J-actors, have nice EYES (most valued by me), often Lacking among K-actors .... J faces r beautiful, may have some flaws, but less surgically enhanced.
2. Many great J-actors ... although, I too, dislike the Manga-style exaggerated style ... Also, I prefer K-humor.
3. For me production values are less a priority than a well written story ... Besides J-doramas are way more CREATIVE and original, not just formula driven.
4. What's wrong w/ short? ... at least there is no dragging.
5. Yes, less escapist, sometimes starkly pessimistic, BUT, I find they always try to make my brain think.... They tend to be DEEP!
6. True, I don't prefer J-romances, that's why I waited for my mood to change before starting J-dorama phase ... so now I can enjoy other aspects doramas have to offer.
7. idols? also in K-dramas ... @BrightestStar made excellent point below.
8. I wouldn't know about time warp ... I find them original.
Each country has its own flavor, doramas offer creativity, appeal to the brain .... I have stayed away from K-dramas for years now bcz I got tired of the formulas, materialistic values, and idealized cliched romances.
Saw her In My Best Ex Bf and liked her..

EDIT: Actually, it turns out he's just like Weir, best at playing the perverted P'rek..Lol!
the Weir version was toned down (good thing! ... there's progress w/ no more R-scenes!)
Still, where can I watch it? ...
(I'm sick, I know :P ...hehehe!!!)
EDIT: Discovered that Johnny was a very bad boy here .... XD
He used perverted words and gestures to taunt her ...
I watched a bit raw ... It does not compare to original of 2001 ... Andrew was great there.
