Right, that is why communication is key in relationships. BUT the reality is that in ALOT of relationships, couples do not communicate and it causes serious problems. This drama shows the reality of that.
And not to mention that we have these two (CY & MJ) who had a really rough childhood, and they did not grow up in a traditional household - they had bad examples of relationships and love. So when you take that into account, you can see why they are having communication issues and why they behave the way that they do.

I agree with you! They are both taking risks that can endanger one another but unfortunately, their circumstances lead to danger because of trash bin (Zhang Bin). He is like an immortal blood-sucking leech attached to Chen Yi. Miao Jing came to help and save him, but she did not anticipate how much of a leech trash bin really is. I know she thought that if she could expose his drug trafficking through her auditing, she could get her revenge for all that trash bin has done to Chen Yi. But, it is not that easy. Life is never that easy.
Also, I think that it doesn't matter if Miao Jing was a part of the picture or not in this particular situation. Trash bin was always going to try to manipulate Chen Yi to join their illegal side of business. Its just unfortunate that Miao Jing is in the picture - that it has become easier for trash bin to manipulate Chen Yi. Also, I think Chen Yi has been working with the police as an informant for a while now...so he'd still be involved with trash bin in some way.
It would be great if they could communicate, like for example if Chen Yi told her that he is working as a police informant but I don't think that would make it less stressful for Miao Jing, you know what I mean? Because he will still have to go through most of this in order to take it all down. However, it would be nice if Miao Jing was informed - then maybe she could help but it is obvious that Chen Yi doesn't want Miao Jing involved at all. It is so complicated because they are both wrong and right LOL.
Y'all, if I was Miao Jing in ep 23 specifically in the scene where he is packing and then leaves, I would be LOSING my mind. I have no other way of saying it but I would go insane if my bf ever did that. I would be so scared for his life and safety, holy shit.
The couch scene was so cute in ep 23!! I actually really liked their sleeping position in that - it was like in that moment, Miao Jing was protecting him.

They have made Chen Yi look weak when he's supposed to be brave and strong-willed, especially after everything he has been through. I get that he has made plenty of mistakes and does not communicate, but the scriptwriters did not have to make his character this way. It is starting to become sad.
