Yes. Wen Lang has 2 fathers: S-Tier Alpha father and an omega father.

Wen Lang's omega father did died, but it is rumored that his husband killed him. No one really knows what happened besides Wen Lang's fathers. Wen Lang believed those rumors because he hate his S-Tier Alpha father and his father is being mysterious on what happen.

He mainly hate omegas because he felt his omega father abandoned him. His omega father went to jail because he murdered his husband's presumably affair. Plus, Wen Lang thought his omega father forced his alpha father to mark him by using his omega pheromones against him despite them not getting along, causing Wen Lang to grew up in a cold home. Whenever Wen Lang's omega father goes into heat, he becomes needy & pathetic, which is a complete opposite to his strong & fierce personality.

Wen Lang hated his omega father's manipulative nature and associated that with all omegas. Despite this, he still lowkey loves him, so he was really hurt with his passing.

I don't remember exactly how it was phrased, but someone replied back to me with the correct phrasing, which I edited my post. However, I am not sure if the entire thing is correct since I don't remember the person saying certain things that the person who replied back to me claimed, unless we are talking about different tweets.

As you said, it is best to go to the core since the tweet is now deleted. By the way, most people were angry of the tweet since they took it as an attack because the mention of GMMTV and other Thai production companies was sudden, even if they do agree with the OP.

I do agree that something like ABO Desire might not be of GMMTV style due it leaning a bit towards science fiction, but it is not completely outside of their comfort zone besides the omegaverse as they can do the rich CEOs, slow burn, sociopath, and obsessive love elements well. Including the omegaverse, they might tackle that one day far in the future.

I agree that the OP might worded their comment in a weird way that they mention all the Thai production companies with their comment of "it's hard for a Thai production company" to remake ABO Desire since it is possible for other companies to align with the mood & theme of ABO Desire.

I am fine with ABO Desire being remaked as long as everyone involved is on board and the core of the story & characters are still there. It doesn't have to be 100% identical and it would be cool to see how Thai companies will add on their little twist.

Oh yeah I definitely agree with you that a lot of Chinese BL celebs do respect Thailand due to the respect Thai fans give them when they come over for fanmeetings and what Thailand did to the BL industry. Some fans really like creating drama.

Personally, Thai BLs tend to align with my taste, but not all of them. I don't really like the ones with "soft porn" most of the time, so I tend to watch the ones with little to no NC scenes and they tend to be great, in my opinion, especially the ones that "raise awareness on LGBTQ+ issues", as you said. Lately, I have been thinking of getting into Japanese BLs since some of them seem really great on LGBTQ+ issues and romance.

I think I got really lucky with GMMTV fans since I am mainly active in the PEBACA fandoms and the older fandoms tend to be really chill, so that kind of skewed my experience with GMMTV fans.

Also, I love that you love the older BLs like SOTUS, Dark Blue Kiss, & Theory of Love.

I don't think it is because they "do not want to see other BLs from other countries outdoing GMMTV". Some of them: yeah. I replied to some those ABO Desire hate tweets since I hate that they were comparing them to make themselves feel better. They can defend/support GMMTV without bringing the show down.

Do you mean a perfect 10 in MDL rating? I don't think there is a show with a 10 rating and a lot of watchers. There are shows with 10 ratings, but there are usually little to no watchers.

I can name some GMMTV shows that are a 10 in my opinion if you want (lemme know), but you may or may not view the same. I have never watched 2gether or Golden Blood, so I can't agree or disagree with you.

From what I have witnessed, at least half of them do get densensive with some of them going an extra level. Maybe I am lucky, but I do know a lot of chill GMMTV fans who do criticize GMMTV whenever they do something they do not like.

In the very slightest of chances that GMMTV will ever do a remake of this show, I don't know how well it would be. Most likely, it will be not 100% identical, which I am cool with as long as the core of the story & characters are still there. Maybe they will surprise me in a good way or in a bad way. I think the directing and action scenes might be better, but who knows. I tend to be hopeful in things like this. There are few good Thai BL remakes, so hopefully the ABO Desire remake would be one of the few.

To my knowledge, there have only been 4 Thai BL vampire shows (with 2 of them being GMMTV productions) and it seemed like (in my opinion) it is getting better, so hopefully they keep improving on their fantasy shows.

Most people took it as shade since some of them that I have talked to didn't know that the OP of the viral tweet was replying to some people who wanted a remake. For me, I did took it as shade since I thought it was odd that GMMTV was suddenly mentioned, but now I know it was a Thai BL fan that started it. Lemme fix that in the edit. In the replies & quote tweets, there were a lot of comparisons by Thai BL fans and fans of ABO Desire. I am also going to include your quote of the tweet since I don't remember it exactly which messed up the wording and my opinion of the tweet. However, I don't remember the viral tweet that I was talking about said "I love GMMTV actors". Are we talking about different tweets? I am going to include it anyways in the edit since it is better than my foggy memory.

I also didn't find it racist by the way since they didn't said anything directly racist. However, I did found it weird that they mention GMMTV suddenly since I didn't know it was a reply to someone else since they didn't @ someone or retweet them.

Personally, not every GMMTV fan is entitled. Some are and take it to an insane level. Some GMMTV fans I know are pretty chill as long as a person don't discredit GMMTV since some haters discredit or downplay GMMTV big impact in the Thai BL industry.

In case, if anyone is wondering why are Thai BL fans hating on ABO Desire recently on X/Twitter, here is everything I know. If I am missing something, please let me know nicely.

Around two days ago, a fan of ABO Desire created a viral tweet that said "I love GMMTV actors but literally GMMTV could never remake an omegaverse like Abo Desire, they'll ruin the pheromones everything, the powers effect, the pheromones, the plot, the roles, I don't think anyone would be able to play enigma role like Hua Yong or S class -Alpha like Shaoyou and Shen Wenlang, sane goes as Gao Tu, it's just hard for a Thai production." This was in reply to someone who is a Thai BL fan who wanted GMMTV to do a remake of ABO Desire.

Under the tweet, there were a lot of replies agreeing with the person. Some of the agreeing comments took things a bit too far where it can be argued that they were lowkey being racist towards Thai people & culture. Due to the increasing amount of positive interactions under the post, the tweet gained popularity and reached that Thai BL side of X/Twitter, where the post's interactions now turned bitter.

Thai BL fans were mad because they found the post lowkey xenophobic towards Thai culture and they found it weird that they were mentioned suddenly like they believed the OP (original poster) could have praised ABO Desire without throwing "shade" towards other shows. Some people responded by doing the same thing they claimed the OP was doing which was to throw back shade towards ABO Desire. Other people responded by defending their Thai shows without giving back hate. Few people did not took sides, but was calling the OP out for suddenly mentioning an other country BL industry.

DISCLAIMER: This entire thing mainly got popularity when a fan was "shading/hating" on Thai production companies, mainly GMMTV, that they could not do a good remake similar to ABO Desire. Most Thai BL fans didn't know this all started when a fellow Thai BL fan wanted a remake. They found it weird that the OP suddenly brought up GMMTV, when in reality, some Thai BL fans were the ones who brought it up.

Personally, I found it weird that people like to hate on something, in order to praise something else, either way. The replies & quote tweets are not the first ones where I see a fan of this show suddenly brining up their hate of Thai BLs, in order to praise the show. It is possible to do that separately. I do not watch non-Thai shows often, so I do not know if this topic of hating on Thai shows is common on other countries' BL show pages. For me, I have not seen people under Thai BLs hating on other countries' BLs, in order to bring their Thai show up. Maybe there are comments like that somewhere, but I haven't see it unlike the opposite.

To add on to what someone said, there was a viral tweet hating on GMMTV & every other Thai production company by saying they could never make a good remake of ABO Desire. Thai BL fans are mad because that person amongst others in the replies were making intense hate comments and lowkey being racist towards Thai people. Plus, they were mentioned out of no where like that person could have praised ABO Desire by not bringing other shows down.

Most people don't want a GMMTV remake. This entire thing started when a fan of ABO Desire hating on GMMTV & other Thai production companies and saying they will never do a good remake. The Thai BL fans don't want a remake. They got into this conversation because people were suddenly hating on every Thai production company, in order to praise the show.

Most GMMTV BLs are not remakes. However, most of them are adapted from novels. Recently, there have been a rise of original releases like The Ex-Morning, Boys in Love, & Only Friends: Dream On.

A fan of ABO Desire posted a viral tweet didn't ask for a remake. They said if there was one, GMMTV and every other Thai production company could not do it. The Thai BLs didn't ask for a remake, by the way.

I don't know why they mention the idea of a remake since the show is still airing , as you said. Plus, the sudden topic of GMMTV & other Thai production companies is so forced like no one mentioned them, but that user wanted to, in order to freely hate on GMMTV & Thai BLs.

Personally, I really like GMMTV BLs lol they aligned to my taste. I especially like the recent ones such as Memoir of Rati, My Magic Prophecy, & The Ex-Morning. I do agree that I don't think they can find a person who can act as Hua Yong, but it would be interesting to watch. If they ever do a remake (very low chances since the sisters are protective of their series), it would not be 100% identical, which a lot of people will be angry at. However, I am fine if a remake is not identical as long as it still has the core of the story. I do think the directing might be better.

NongJian are identical twin sisters who wrote the book that the show is based on and are the directors, executive producers, screenwriters, and casting directors of the show.

Their names are Nong & Jian, but they refer themselves as NongJian since it is shorter.

A few days ago, the 4 main actors of the show just finished their performance on an award show. After their performance, they left their arena to drive to a parking lot where the sisters were waiting for them. The sisters were excited that they did a good performance that they screamed when the cars pulled up and were recording. Qiu (Sheng Shao You) got out of the car and told them that he almost thought they were stalker fans following their car. The sisters released the video as a usual daily vlog thing, thinking nothing about it until actual stalker fans got mad at Qiu for making fun/being scared of them that they harassed Qiu on social media. Despite the recent harassment & sad mood, Qiu and the rest of the cast had to go on live the next day as planned.

Most likely not. To me, I am fine with them not having a kiss since I just want at least fluff & a happy ending lol

From the comments, at least half of the fans of the second couple don't care too much about the physical moments and are mainly hoping for a good ending.

In the book, they did have 1 kiss at the very end, but it wasn't detailed and it was just a mention that they kiss, so the actual scene wasn't shown in the novel.

I guess to him, it is not intruding yet, even though to most of the viewers, he is already past that point.
