During extreme, sudden heats & ruts, they blurred your senses and make your memory foggy. It is shown a bit through the special effects, but it is not shown too clearly.

In the book, the room is described to be pitch black dark. However, they have to brighten the scene for the viewers to see what is going on. Just pretend the room is way darker. When they shot the scene, they filmed it with all of the lights on and they darkened it in editing.

During their heats/ruts, their senses gets blurred & their memory gets foggy. Since Gao Tu is having an intense, sudden heat and Wen Lang is having an intense, sudden rut, they are not in the right mindset at all, so it is kind of like if a person were to get heavily drunk. Gao Tu remembered what happened because he woke up earlier than Wen Lang and seeing Wen Lang on the bed triggered his memory. They didn't showed it clearly in the show, but it is clearer than in the book.

Wen Lang didn't mark Gao Tu. He only gave him hickies.

To me, I do see chemistry between the second leads, but I understand why you don't.

In my opinion, I wouldn't call it poor. It is okay. Also, the translation to English might hold some quality back, so in its original language, it is probably great.

I do like the added details of Wen Lang & Gao Tu's story & the last line. I think the writing is best on screen rather in the book for most scenes since there could be more description & details to the book scenes for more of an emotional hook.

This is all based on rumors. We don't know why they haven't kissed. Jiang Heng was hired on visuals, but not on visuals alone. The sisters made him audition like everyone else.

The blood types represent secondary genders, so alphas would have blood type A, omegas would have blood type O, betas would have blood type B, and enigmas would have blood type E. People with blood type AB were wiped out since a person can't be an alpha and a beta. Other than that, that is it.

Shen Wen Lang's parents have a story where the omega used their pheromones /heat to lure the alpha. I don't know about other stories.

Betas are not affected by pheromones or heat/rut unless it is really strong.

It hasn't been released yet. It will be out next week. According to some people speculations, the earthquake scene will happen and Shao You will find out that Hua Yong is not an omega because he will try to save Shao You with his pheromones.

I thought the wine glasses were already there before they arrived to the bar. There was a shot before Gao TU left to the restroom of multiple glasses besides Wen Lang. I couldn't see if it was already empty or not, but it was shown to be empty when Wen Lang called Gao Tu.

It is dark for the characters, but it can't be dark for us since we need to see it.

Shao You never smelled the true scent of Hua Yong before and he never heard Hua Yong's dominant voice. Plus, Hua Yong's pheromones (even through he released it later) probably messed up his memories & thinking a little.

With Gao Tu & Wen Lang, Wen Lang never smelled Gao Tu's true scent before. As someone else said, Gao Tu's pheromones probably made Wen Lang crazy very fast that it blurred his senses.

He is not drunk in the show, only in the book.

lol ikr! With Wen Lang & Gao Tu's scene, the light was already on when Wen Lang walked into the room, but off some how when they started the activity.

Oh I forgot about that. I think Sheng probably think Hua Yong is not having sexual intercourse, but he is doing sexual things that doesn't involve penetration.

Sheng thought Wen Lang made some of his workers to punish Hua Yong in a sexual way after Hua Yong came to work with a tracking chip on him. In reality, that is not the case.

What really happened was that Chen Pin Ming (Sheng Shao You's secretary) put a chip into Hua Yong's bag to keep a track on him and make sure he is safe since Shao You tasked him with that responsibility. Hua Yong quickly found out about the chip due to his Engima senses and create a plan with Wen Lang's help to make it seemed like Wen Lang sold Hua Yong off to prostitution.

A person don't need to be marked to have sex. For example, Sheng Shao You has sex with a lot of people in the past and he is not marked. Marking is always permanent (can't get rid of a mark unless through medical procedures or death). It kind of binds 2 people emotions together and is like marriage in their world. Once marked, you can't sleep with someone else since everyone will know you are taken and it takes a negative toll on your body even if your mind wants someone else. By the way, only 1 person can be marked in a pair, but the effects of the mark will impact both. Plus, it is usually the higher class marking the lower class, so an alpha can't mark an enigma. Betas are the only ones that can't be marked or mark other people.

I also heard the rumor that he might be Wen Lang's omega father, so either one of those roles. Maybe he is Ma Heng since he is younger in age. There is also another actor that might play Wen Lang's alpha father who is following all 4 of them, but I forgot the name.

He does have a story. He just doesn't appear a lot in the book. They will probably changed that a bit in the show since so far, he appears more often in the show compared to the book. His story will pick up more in the second half after episode 9.

Maybe there is a scenepack of their scenes alone somewhere on the Internet. If I were to guess, they probably have around 15 minutes of screentime the entire season. Their ending is also not really satisfying. Too bad since the chemistry is great.

So far, he has more scenes in the show compared to the book since his scenes are a bit extended. His story will pick up more in the second half of the show after episode 9.

However, out of the 4 of them, his character is the least important, so he will appear the least out of the 4 of them, but the amount of scenes he will have will probably be enough. Hopefully, they changed the ending since it is a bit messy in the book.
