I think this is the most negative comment section I have ever seen. That doesn't said much since I don't watch a lot of dramas, but still.
Before watching this drama, I was watching Pit Babe season 2 and a lot of people did not like the season, but was respectful or ignore the comments of people who did like it. Basically each stayed in their own lane. But this comment section is so full of arguments, rumors, and disrespect (to each other and to the actors/crew).
Usually, I tried to reply to most comments if they are spreading misinformation or to break up a fight by being understanding, but I might need like 3 business days to do that for today lol
The most respectful pages I have encountered are usually the ones that consists of fandoms rather than the general public since they consist of loyalty and respect already.
Usually on other pages, there are usually 1 or 2 accounts that I don't like, but they don't comment that often at all. Here, there are like at least 3 accounts I don't like and they comment really often. I would block them, but I want to reply to them since they are causing fights or spreading misinformation or giving disrespect.
Are their NC scenes being censored or are they purposely cutting away at these kiss scenes?
So far, there haven't been any NC scene yet, so we will know later. However, there have been 2 major make out scenes of the main couple that have been cut down due to censorship. Thankfully, one of those scenes was released as a behind the scenes clip and the other will be released after the show ends. From the book with the main couple, they replaced the NC scenes with kissing scenes. Not saying that there won't be an NC scene in a later episode since we don't know yet.
For the second couple, there was no NC or kissing scene in the book. As someone said, there was only a vague recollection of events when they slept together. Nothing was explained detailly, more of a mention that they had sex and that is it. However, according to the show's trailer, we will get few scenes of that night when they do sleep together. We don't know if it will be explicit or not, but it shows more than in the novel.

Not really. Yes, main roles are determined based on screentime, but they are also determined based on how the character is important to the main plot and if the character has a story arc.
Compared to the other main leads, his character doesn't impact the plot that much, but he still impacts it since Hua Yong is using his story as his and his character has a strong tie to Wen Lang. Plus, he has his own story line, which support characters don't really get.
In order of importance to the main plot, it is Hua Yong > Sheng Sawyer > Shen Wen Lang > Gao Tu. It is also probably the order of their paycheck per episode/per day as well. Gao Tu is at the bottom of the order, but he is getting paid more & is more important than any other non-main role.
It is very common in Western media where main characters don't appear in every episode, but they do appear in most episodes of a season. It is not common in Chinese dramas, but the same thinking applies when it does happen.
I wish the directors didn't promote Wen Lang & Gao Tu as main leads since people would think they will have the same importance/screentime as Hua Yong & Sawyer. They can be promoted as a main side couple, which they are.

It could be his first role since there are some actors that start late in the industry. So far, no one could find any acting experience from him yet, but who knows as you said, MDL pages don't have all of the information.
However, it is not too low of a chance that this is his first time officially acting. I heard from the sisters' livestream that they found Ocean from a comment on Douyin and asked him to audition after seeing his looks & talking to him a bit, so he wasn't actively auditioning or seeking out auditions, so that was probably his first audition (maybe). Some people are like you who can't wait and will lose patience if they wait every week for just 1 episode and that is completely fine since you know your temper/patience the best.
For other people like myself, I like the tense feeling of waiting every week for an episode. Binge-watching is definitely not for me. I have tried it before a few times and I never finished a series because of it due to me skipping right to the ending since it is already available.
As for "never" being satisfied unless a person watched every episode, it depends on the person since I have seen some accounts who are enjoying the show, but skip a lot of scenes since they are there for the second couple or for something else. To my knowledge, Hua Yong knows Sawyer will find out his true identity one day, so he will hold off the marking until then. This explains why he is forcing Sawyer to change little by little like not going out often or eating food items he don't like, in order to increase the chances of Sawyer accepting his enigma identity. I also don't know if marking from weaker to stronger can't be physically done or is just viewed as unusual. Even though one person can mark, the marking bond affects both of them the same way where your soul is like tethered to the other person. It cannot be broken naturally, only by medical procedure or death.

When Wen Lang was searching for Gao Tu, he got mate-seeking syndrome, which made him temporarily crazy in his search. Hua Yong knocked him out and gave him to Shen Yu. Shen Yu chained him in the basement (the same one that Ying Yi was previously trapped in) and I think broke his legs. After a few hours, Ying Yi arrived and helped Wen Lang escape. That was the first time Wen Lang saw his father since his "death" decades ago. During their escape, Shen Yu caught them. Ying Yi hit him and scolded him that he was supposed to take care of Wen Lang not abused him. After their one-sided fight, they shared a hug, leaving Wen Lang confused as their dynamic wasn't what he thought.
Ying Yi never tell Wen Lang where Gao Tu was and Wen Lang never found out he was involved.
The show might not copy their story word by word since it has a very confusing ending.
