they care about the second couples more than any other bls , that’s why people started to compare both couples…
Same!
For me, it is pretty rare when a drama gives the second couple a fully fleshed out interesting storyline with a good amount of screentime to showcase that. I was a bit worried when I found out the authors were directing the show, but I am glad they add more scenes that aren't in the book.

I am replying to your comment of "they are losing what we call it joy , so basically they want to watch same story for the 100th time and not the different one"
I am not replying to your main comment since I agreed with you.
I wonder what they are even watching when the second couple has barely any scene together at the moment ,I also…
I am mainly watching the show for the second couple, but unlike other people, I am not forcing it down into people' throats. I don't like to compare the couples since they are different and it depends on taste. I can understand why people are frustrated over the constant comparisons. I like the main couple, but I really love the second one and I am not interested in the main couple despite the unique storyline. It is not really for me. I am only watching around 5 to 10 minutes per episode and I am really happy of the scenes I get. Maybe once the drama is done, I will go back and watch the full episodes rather than a part of it, but for right now, I am satisfied.
Since the main couple has a lot of scenes (of course), it feels a bit of a time waster for me if I watch all of their scenes since I am mainly here for the second couple. Plus, I am really good at putting things together, when it comes to dramas, so even if I skip 75% of the episode, I know what is going on and I haven't been confused yet. Speaking on the behalf of other people who are skimming the episode, a person can understand the full storyline of the second couple by only watching their scenes, so they are not interested in the main storyline/plotline of the show.
I've never skipped scenes in any shows that I have watched (that's got more than one couple). I don’t get it…

By the way, this is my first time seeing this specific trope of the second couple since I don't read omegaverse manga. However, the second couple's story has some similar tropes outside of omegaverse like miscommunication & friends-to-lovers. For me, those tropes never grow old, if done right. It is more of a classic rather than a cliche personally.
so no talks about how intelligent hua Yong is , he literally suspected gao for tu being an omega just after Shen…
It is so funny that Hua Yong knew that Gao Tu is an omega and Wen Lang has a crush on him. He just got here and he is caught up on everything lol makes sense since enigmas have way stronger senses
I hope that we're actually going to see some baby bumps and the babies as newborns 😍 or do you guys think that…
Most likely that there will be a timeskip since they already hired child actors to play the kids at around age 5. The timeskip may mot be exactly as it is in the novel, but there will be one.
Guys is there anywhere where i can see the trailer for the next episode
They release episode previews on Instagram & Twitter. It is without subtitles, but there will be people like Orange Fair who provide translations quick like less than an hour on Instagram & YouTube.
I'm sorry but can someone please give Hua Yong his oscar already. I mean.. for a second even I was convinced that…
Same! I saw a few people saying that Sheng is dumb & dense, which is not true since Hua Yong is a master manipulator. Even though I know his plan & his secret, I have to remind myself that he is not an omega lol
No, it won't, but dragging this series until October is a serious mistake. At least there should be 2 episodes…
There are shows out there that have a lot of episodes and they release once a week. Kdramas have 16 episodes and they release once a week. In terms of BLs, Thai & Japanese release their episodes once a week and they have around 12 episodes, with some of them having more like Perfect 10 Liners or We Are. Both of which were really popular.
Lets just see what will happen at the end, in terms of popularity. As you said, most people are waiting to binge watch it by the end, so either way people are watching it and the show is still talked about. With it being the first fully-fleshed out omegaverse show, that helps them with popularity going into October. Plus, to my knowledge, there are not a lot of highly competitive BLs that are being released in the fall, so BL fans will most likely watch it.
As you said, the "aspiration is to hit hard from the beginning", which is why they release 3 episodes on the first day. I do agree that it might benefit them to release more than 1 episode a week due to censorship. Plus, a good amount of their viewers are BL fans of Chinese & Korean BLs, so they are used to the multi episodes format. However, I think with the 1 episode per week will not harm their popularity too much even if the show gets canceled now since it will cause a huge, long uproar due to their unique concept. I think the show will be fine, regarding popularity.
Success, on the other hand, lets hope it doesn't get canceled early. Personally, I think it will be fine due to the remaining platforms not based in China like Viki or GagaooLala.
Someone in Reddit wrote these: I think there's 3 volumes to the Pit Babe novel series according to my Google search…
Oh yeah. I was confused when I didn't see the Alan & Jeff NC bathroom scene in the final episode since it was the trailer. That is so sad that it wasn't even in the uncut version and the actors didn't even know about it until it aired.
So how do we know Tony is dead for good?! I mean is he gon stay dead this time around?! cause him and Winner were…
LOL I wouldn't doubt that if the show has another season, Tony returns back from the dead AGAIN or a secret twin
This season is like a telenovela
Also, just in case if you don't know since there have a lot of comments thinking Tony is alive, that is S (the producer & actor for Tony). It seems like the editors mixed the behind the scenes footage into the actual episode since the audio quality is different and the other producers are there too. They probably did it on purpose as a joke, but I didn't like that.
SWL was not abusive or so temperamental over the years. He totally trusts Gao Tu and is fully dependent on him…
He does actually hate omegas. In the first episode, Gao Tu told Hua Yong that Wen Lang hated omegas since middle school, so that is before they met in high school. We will know the reason why later on.
Wen Lang has an entire team of secretaries. Gao Tu is Wen Lang's only personal secretary. However, as you said, Gao Tu overthinks, so even through Wen Lang does not want to replace him at all, Gao Tu feels the opposite.
Knowing some of Wen Lang's background makes me understand why he is the least afraid of Hua Yong (one could argue that he has no fear for him).
BOOK SPOILER
His S-Tier alpha father is a mafia boss & his omega father was an all-combat highly sought out agent/solider. On top of that, Wen Lang grew up in a physically & emotionally abusive household in Country P.
No wonder even after Hua Yong released his pheromones scent, Wen Lang still talked bad about Sawyer and called Hua Yong crazy. The only person who is able to shut Wen Lang up is Gao Tu lol
There is a scene in the trailer where Hua Yong is holding a dangling Wen Lang out from the window and he is still sprouting bulls**t.
I haven't read the novel, but I just want to point out what I do know about the characters, according to the books.Pete…
Hmm maybe it is different in this omegaverse work.
Since each omegaverse work is different, the author could erase the "top" nature thing. I have seen that happen in some works where sexual position doesn't matter if you are an alpha or omega or beta. Pit Babe looks like the show where they erase sexual stereotypes since 4 out of the 5 couples have bottoms who are taller than the top.
Sonic is taller than North, but North is more physically built than Sonic. Also, just because they are the bottom doesn't mean they are not dominant in bed. Sonic could be a dominant bottom and North could be a submissive top or they switch or Sonic only tops & North only bottoms if they are in heat/rut. I don't know what is the purpose of omegaverse, but I think its original purpose was for men to get pregnant.

Maybe, but there is no news of a season 3. Just some fans wanting a third season. We will find out at least next year for a pilot trailer. If there is nothing next year, most likely there is no third season.
Personally, I don't think the writers know that the ending is rushed, so if they don't know, they think the ending is perfect as it is. If there is a third season, there is a high chance that ending will also be rushed.
Shen Wen Lang pays Gao Tu 3x more than what his job position offers. It hasn't been said in the show yet, but…
I think you are right. Judging from the emoji poster teaser & some information from the book, episode 9 is really the place where their relationship takes a twist. Plus, it is the midpoint, so the second half of the show is going to be tense.
SWL was not abusive or so temperamental over the years. He totally trusts Gao Tu and is fully dependent on him…
Usually people with severe anger issues like Wen Lang say things often that they don't mean at all and they don't want it to happen. Even though he said to replace Gao Tu, he didn't enforce on it with his actions. It is only hurtful words.

Gao Tu is with Shen Wen Lang.
Hua Yong is with Sheng Sawyer.
