Actually, in Japanese Yaoi manga the Ukes are pretty effeminate. Only in Baras will you see the more masculine boys. Honestly even the Semes are somewhat effeminate in Yaoi.

I dont know why but every time I make a hypothetical argument likes this ppl think I am making an argument about my own tastes. Here, I am simply pointing out that the fanbase loves masculine gays. The reason he is the same "effeminate" person in all his roles is because he is a very out and proud effeminate homosexual. The reason he has been typecasted that way is because of the homophobia and misogynism of this industry and fans.

You need to watch Skinship and compare. Chahub and Best are 10x better here. This has to be a competent director.

It was not perfect but for a low budget BL series, it was very good.

My suggestion: watch episode 3 and maybe the last 5 mins of episode 2. Thats where the good stuff happens. And by that I mean: Shino booty, Best shirtless and JamesTeenoi kissing. Lol

I would watch a 3rd season as long as we get more Teenoi. The boy is cute. And also loved Teenoi in shorts in Ep 2 or 3.

This movie was amazing. The acting and production/direction were top-notch. This is proof that good BL doesn't require GMMTV level budget.
