Most BL series have this problem: too little episodes, while here it was the other way around - there were too…
This is the same director as TharnType and it shows. He likes drama. Aoey cried way too many times, alone, and I too didn't know what to make of it. The actor did his best. I dont blame him. I blame the director and his obsession with trying to make evil characters likeable. He did the same with Llong from TT. Thank God for Kaownah's amazing acting ability because otherwise it would have sucked too.
this isn't a criticism btw, just an observation? the show is breaking BL tropes in some places but maybe not in…
have you watched a lot of Thai BL?
There are differences between Thai BL and Japanese BL. I think Thai BL takes a lot from Lakorns and adapts a lot of Japanese concepts to a Thai cultural context.
I remember I once came across Hitler's paintings. I examined each in great detail. He was a talented artist BUT…
It is interesting how ppl use to admire him and his movies were highly rated but since he got sued, eveyone is now seeing his movies in a negative light.
Ppl who criticize him probably can watch a horror movie and see a women being tereorized and be ok with it. Western and Eastern media are just full of portrayal of violence against women. I didnt find 3 Iron too different from anything I had seen before.
You may be right about Kims views of wonen but you are wrong that this doesn't say anything about Korean society because Kims movies were pretty well received and supported back in the day. A society that allowed a man like him to thrive is not a society that I would consider pro womens rights.
Yes, I know Kim Ki Duk had issues but this movie is very poetic.
I think the issue in all his movies that I have watched is that women are not able to free themselves from oppression. But then again, is this a statement about what the director believes or a reflection of Korean society?
Yeah thats what I gathered from researching the drink online.
The ehhh and hmmm in Thai can be confused for other similar sounding interjections and utterances with entirely different meanings in Romance languages.
There was a fans interview and a fan ask them if they can sescribe each others as a drink, Up said Kao is like…
I am not sure I understand why you think it is not a compliment. It really depends on who you ask I guess, but it seems this is a popular, refreshing, sweet drink. Maybe he is saying Kao is sweet or maybe he is saying Kao has a cool persona? Or he could be saying that he is popular? IDK but unless this is a stinky drink or a sour drink or a drink nobody likes, I don't see how it is nothing but a compliment or a remark about something that maybe is an internal joke.

Its a shame that LS got it right but most shows afterwards have not.
Gene is an Uke. Ukes are virginal, indecisive, often closeted and unable to say no to the second male lead.
Semes are out and proud, sexually experienced, forward, protective, street smart and they love to feed the Uke.
All these tropes are present in LW.
To be clear, the end is not sad just bittersweet. Mew cries because he is happy.
