True. Same here.

Yeah, it happens every so often. I think it might be them trying to adjust the rating algorithms or it might be…
Yeah its weird. Gameboys was for a time, the second highest rated BL drama but it dropped a couple of places down. Folks said MDL was cracking on ppl artificially inflating the ratings (fake accounts?). Idk. Maybe they do periodic sweeps and delete fake accounts so all the ratings are affected?

Duean that can break the 4th wall is the most interesting part of this series. Breaking the 4th wall is not just…
Duean is a great brother and he will be a loving boyfriend. I think he is being honest when he says he finds Nong guy annoying. He is indeed annoying. But Duean can see that, like his brother, this guy is a misfit. Duean knows misfits because of his brother and he will see thru the guys heart and know the guy is worthy of love. He will eventually fall in love. I think he is starting to....

I still don't understand why there is so many people who is hating from Duean. I saw some comments about skipping…
Duean is the main reason I watch. Neo is hot and funny. He was hilarious in Tonhon and he is even better here. He needs his own show.

I'm so bored with the second couple but thankfully the main couple save me from continuing this show
It is the opposite for me. Neo is the hottest geekiest nerdiest dorkiest twink. I cant get enough of him.

I find the early eps of this series to be much better than the early eps of 2gether, because of stronger chemistry/better…
I didnt LOVE ToL but I would say OST, directing, acting and production are really among the best ever in a Thai BL (on par with Gameboys). Watch it!

There are some other uses of dramatic irony in recent BL's. The show Brothers which is a really good drama that's…
One way I have noticed that Buddhism influences Thai film makers is in the use of colors. Tonhon Chonlatee, Love sick, Tale of a Thousand Stars, etc. all use colors like blue, gold/yellow, and white to represent different things, such as healing, renunciation to material things, purity etc....

Another similar one would be My Gear and Your Gown.

They did this exact same thing in Queer as Folk. So for me, it is certainly not the first time I see it.
I watch enough TV and I am old enough that I am pretty sure I have seen all of that done before. The shadowy figure, the big reveal, etc. Star Trek for sure and QAF as I said. And no, I don't know if we knew or not who the guy was but I feel like here we didn't either until the end of episode 1 and by episode 2 it was pretty obvious.

Idk I think you are reading too much into it.

Emmett falls in love with a guy online. The guy and him meet in the virtual world. If I recall correctly, they use a shadow wall or something like that to hide his identity. We don't know if the guy is hot or not or if it is someone he knows. I can't recall what the big reveal was but I do remember the scenes.

An 8.4 rating suddenly fell to 7.9?! What the heck happened here?!
Episode 2 wasn't as good as episode 1

I am a lot older than you.

Yeah, I work with what the characters give me and I guess I didnt see as much depth to their actions as you did.

Dont get me wrong, I liked the series. I just dont think it is as brilliant as many here think it was.....

OK, I just finished ep6 and I find the plot so predictable! I mean, I saw that plot twist coming from miles away...…
As a BL the plot is pretty unique. However, the character development for the chief doesn't get better. Tian does get fleshed out more. A lot of the failings you describe (predictable plot twist, overly dramatic ) are typical of Chinese and Thai dramas IMO. Thai ppl love to see dramatic climax with characters crying or yelling at each other though not as much as they do in some Filipino or Latino shows lol.

In 2018, when I first discovered Love Sick, I totally ignored this series in favor of other BLs. I have since watched several classics and more contemporary BLs from all over. On the recommendation of a friend and since many of the actors in My Tee are now well known GMMTV stars, I decided to give this a shot.

I am surprised by how great it is. I am on episode 5 and thus far I am shocked this is not rated higher. From peoples comments, I thought it wold have much worst acting. This is not true! The acting is very good. Frank looks a bit more bland but his smiles are the most tender and he is so trusting of his costar, you can tell they worked so hard on those acting workshops. A couple of years ago, I watched a clip of Our Skyy and I was really impressed by their on-screen chemistry but boy, if I thought they had chemistry there or in 2Gether.... Ufff, here they are the tenderest!

P'Andy (Lovesick, MIR, Hook) delivers one more time! This are frankly the sweetest scenes I have seen in a BL in a long time. This rivals Love Sick's best scenes and it is even more raunchy than MIR.

The editing has been bad and the story is choppy. As usual with other P'Andy's series, the sound is awful. BUT the hand holding, the hugs, the tender moments, the sweet glances and all those little things that made me fall in love with BL are there.

I will write a review once I am done but for now, I would say this is in my top 10. Also, one of the few BLs that that talks about being gay over and over again and tries to send a positive message about being gay, albeit it is not the most straight forward message but again, this is typical P'Andy stuff.

So which is it then? Did he left because Phupa was going to request a new teacher or because his term was up and it couldn't be renewed? It cant be both. To me the show made emphasis on Phupa being the reason he left and gave the impression Tian was not planning on leaving at that time. Also the villagers reactions tell me that tian was leaving before he had to.

You are right that he expected to leave at some point but that was the whole point of the series I thought. He went in to pay a debt he had to Torfun but ended up finding love, a purpose in life and a new home.

Wow you dont think Hes Coming to me is a great series? It is my top series after love sick. I have love sick as #1 for a variety of reasons, not least of which is it is historical importance. But both HCTM and LS were pretty low budget. HCTM is the same director as Tale of a Thousand Stars.

I dont think thats the main reason given in the series. Besides, thats not a conflict. Tian has discovered a passion he didnt know he had. We as viewers know he is not there to repay anyone anymore. He enjoys the villagers. His life is now there.
