Title My Extraordinary Spoiler
I have some ranting to do but instead for now, I want to post my theories about what is going on because it seems the majority of you missed an important hint from an earlier episode.

At the end of the previous episode, Sandee saw what we though was the "ghost" of Ken at the house while Monica was on the phone with him. Yet in this episode we learned that he did not died at the car crash and was very much alive at the hospital. This means that either Sandee is imagining "ghosts" or that she can see him because he is between the two planes of existence.

I think this means that Sandee can see not just the ghost, but the "soul" projection of someone who is not dead yet. This is why I think that Ken is between life and death.

The other possibility I have thought of is that in the scenes where we see and hear Ken, perhaps Ken is seeing himself this way. What if something happened and Ken is now a vegetable, trapped in his own body? What if he thinks he is able to talk but he is in a wheelchair or on a bed?

There is one more thing we should consider. What if he did die but not in the car accident? This show has made many references to Romeo and Juliet. In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo kills himself because he thinks Juliet is dead. What if he killed himself because he thought he could never be with his love? What if Shake killed himself because Ken was in a comma and would supposedly never wake up?

I think it is very clear that it was not Ken in corporeal form who was interacting with all these characters in this episode. But where is Ken and what are we seeing are questions left unanswered in this episode.

I think it would be awesome if he ends up with the delivery guy but I have a couple of issues with this show now…
I hope we get to find that he is indeed being a jerk more for self-defense than because he has a raisin for a heart LOL ;)

Here is an interesting bit of info I learned from Teejay's youtube channel: not only his face was under the knife…
I am not gonna lie, I am against plastic surgery, especially if you do it to "westernize" your looks. It is a sad practice that is nearly impossible to understand for those of us who find the "Asian look" exotic and attractive :)

I am more forgiving if its done to extend the useful life of an entertainer (e.g. prevent them from looking to old).

In his case, he screwed up his nose which makes him look ugly IMO. He wasn't the most attractive guy to begin with, and then he killed it with that nose surgery and whatever else he did to his face/eyes. His chest is OK, maybe he did need that liposuction or implants or whatever he did LOL IDK.

I am still watching at least for one more episode but at the moment I am less frustrated with his looks and more frustrated with his character and with the story.

I think it is the only episode(3) I like so far, Ben not doing his ugly faces like he want to puke, and we watch…
Here is an interesting bit of info I learned from Teejay's youtube channel: not only his face was under the knife (which is pretty obvious) but his chest as well.

The man is all plastic.

This wasn't predictable at all... The girlfriend, yes (of course), the proposal, no. And you know what? I want…
I think it would be awesome if he ends up with the delivery guy but I have a couple of issues with this show now that I have seen 3 episodes:

1) The character of Ben has very few redeeming qualities. He is a terrible friend, willing to take advantage of his friend while he is sleeping (remember in ep 2 at the tree house?), he insults the delivery guy all the time, he seems to be more interested in his friend because he is famous and not because he is someone he loves, and he sucks at baking.

2) Are we supposed to believe that Jim is bisexual? Why is he sending Ben mixed signals? If Jim ends up with his girl friend, what are we to make of all the other little things he has done with Jim, like cuddling, teasing him, etc.?

3) Sometimes the story doesn't make sense. Ben baking in total darkness. The fake telescope that he just happens to have kept under his bed all this time. The fact that he is youtube famous or tiktok famous but doesn't seem to be creating any interesting content.

4) Very ineffective supporting cast of characters with the exception of the delivery guy... The "best friend" is super cringey, I am starting to actually dislike her and the mother is so meh. This show is all about Ben and Jimmy for sure.

Now, if Jimmy and Ben end up together, we will be left wondering about delivery guy and if Jimmy and Ben don't end up together, we will be left wondering about all the teasing and the mixed signals we got from Jim.

I like the character of Jimmy so far but I don't like pretty much anyone else in this show and that is not a good thing. I will continue watching but this show is not on my top 10 list of the year for sure.

The editing needed to be tightened. Every scene was a little too long and it dragged down the energy a bit. Like…
I looked him up and there is photo evidence that he had a nose job, though I suspect he also had his eyes done.

He has not admitted nor denied that he has done anything to his face, but interestingly he has admitted that he got surgery for "gynecomastia". I am no physician but I watched an old video of him and he didn't looked like he had gynecomastia. He just had a bit of fat around his chest and tummy. If he had gynecomastia, then I most have megamastia LOL.

His new, "chiseled" chest is all surgery too so I have no doubt the man has had more done to his face than a simple nose job. :P Rumor has it he is much older than he says he is and I can totally see it...

I know exactly what you are saying. He doesn't look Asian. I don't find him attractive but is mostly because he looks a bit odd due to what I assume are many plastic surgeries. His nose and eyes I think are done LOL

The light skin thing is also part of Pinoy culture. They make tons of money selling lighting creams.

You know, I find Bright attractive. He is sexy. I think he looks "Asian" enough for my taste LOL but I also like White bois sometimes haha

I see the 33yo teejay marquez with his overly done face and it’s scary! Nope.
Yeah, I agree with you. I have a hard time not looking at his nose... LOL I also suspect he got the eye surgery....

My God... so sexy for a 33. But I thought he is younger.
Plastic surgery will do that to you :P

Did Ben get a nose job? His nose kinda looks fake
I came here to say the same thing. And people here find him attractive and I think he is kind of ugly LOL That nose just looks out of place. I feel like if I touch it, it is all silicone.

As I've said in my earlier post for observations in EP1, this PH BL seem to be the most Thai-like. The use of…
Ben is not just fair skin.... I personally think the actor had a nose job, which bothers me a lot. He is not the most attractive guy in the world, and I am ok with it but the nose just seems so fake... IDK LOL

Not really because I've never seen an effeminate character in a Thai BL as a lead.
Yes, I agree. As a lead, I don't think we have an effeminate character...

What makes you think that? Perth was 17 when he did Love by Chance and he got away with some pretty intense scenes.…
I don't agree. You are making the assumption that there is something inherently dirty about two people kissing or doing intimate scenes. It is no different than Captain kissing a girl, how is that not also exploitative? Let's not inject puritan views into this argument.

Without these actors doing their job, young teenagers would not have any LGBQT representation on the screen. I fully support what Captain, Ohm and Perth did. Well, maybe Perth could have been older since he played an actual college student but with Captain and Ohm, they were playing High School students and I think it is great that they did what they did.

In regards to them using BL as a stepping stone that is just an assumption. Ohm, White and Perth have been doing BLs long after they have been "famous". I think it is a Myth. What actually happens is that the actors know that the BL universe is small and it is easier to be noticed as a BL star so they stay in the BL sphere (Gun, Off, Mew, etc.). I don't think they are waiting to "jump ships". A few do, like God and maybe Captain but most don't.

The other thing you may not know is that parental influence in Thailand extends beyond the teenage years. It has been rumored for a while now that Captain does not do BLs because his parents no longer want him to do it. The same thing has been said about Nanon. Thus, it is not like them being older would change anything. For them to be exploited by the industry as teens, the parents would have to be complicit.

Acting is acting. It is a job. Kissing someone should not be the big deal we make it to be...

I'm absolutely in love with this serie, the cast, the story, everything (even the flashback, it was too cute)!…
What makes you think that? Perth was 17 when he did Love by Chance and he got away with some pretty intense scenes. Ohm was 15 when he did MIR... Captain was 15 or 16 when he did that famous kiss with White in Lovesick.... There is no reason why him being 18 will make a difference.

I agree. The director needs training first. Only Moira's and Sky's mother's acting are believable. It's a pity…
Yes. That's what I mean when I say it is his story... That's why he is Executive Producer. He has the most creative control and oversight....

One thing I found out while researching this is that he is also the EDITOR of the show.

I have always felt the editing is a bit amateurish at times. Now we know who to blame :) LOL

I also think ChukChuk is his dog. I think the whole Disney obsession is his. He wanted to write a Disney fairy tale so he has been placing elements everywhere but that is just a theory... It could be that the person obsessed with Disney is the screenplay writer but I doubt it.

I could be wrong but I read somewhere that the guy who plays the maid is one of the producers.

I have to disagree. Kens behavior is understandable but not ok. Falling in love is not an excuse to ditch your friend. I said I dont condone her behavior but I also dont condone his behavior.

In Lovesick, Noh always seemed to care for Yuri more than he should, and here Ken is the opposite. Both extremes are wrong. When Noh breaks up with Yuri, he cries. She is his friend and he fears loosing her.

Why cant Ken understand that he is risking loosing a friend who is important to him? Because he is in love of course but it is wrong for Ken to do what he did regardless of Sandees feelings.

To be clear I am not justifying her actions, but I dont think her character deserves the hate. Ultimately it is Kens moms decision as an adult to react the way she did that sets the apparently tragic events in motion. Sandee is literally a catalyst who accelerates the inevitable.

Perhaps, but Psychomilk says in its website that it is written and directed by him and I am pretty sure the opening credits state this. So it is his script, even if he had someone "revise" it and/or write part of the screenplay. According to the US WGA, a person credited as "written by" also contributes to the screenplay, which makes sense because as I said before, this is HIS project.
