I am not saying it is ethical. I am saying that I understand where they are coming from and it is within their right. You are using their intellectual property. They can decide what gets used and what does not. It is exactly like someone using your image to promote a product: you own your image and you control how it is used.

I agree that it is useless to argue about who is top and bottom but yes they had a lot of hints that "Sky is the TOP of his class", etc.
Ace could simply be what we call a dominant bottom. If I recall the morning after sex conversation they first had included some references that made it sound like they do flip or have flipped but that it is indeed mostly Sky who is the top.
I do not know if I am projecting but I rather imagine Sky as the top anyway LMAO

Gameboys and MyDay are both available on YouTube with English subtitles (as well as Spanish, Portuguese etc.).
Just so that you all know, Gameboys is the SECOND HIGHEST rated BL and one of the highest rated dramas in all of Mydramalist (ranks at #33 with a rating of 8.9 based on thousand of users).
It is a true masterpiece of storytelling and it really tugs at your heart strings. I can't tell you how much I laughed and cried with this show!

I am not fluent in Tagalog but I didn't see a problem with this show. The acting was good, the visuals are great (the guy driving down on the bike with Boys Lockdown displayed on the screen is a great intro), the whole concept is very original..... So I really don't know what you see wrong her. Yes, Gameboys did this first and so did Hello Strangers but they are all different takes on the same problem. This one feels very cute and refreshing.

I will be very honest, many people I know think Ace is very hot but I am all over Sky. To me he is so hot and don't even get me started on his Tagalog accent, which totally melts me. Miko Gallardo is at least several notches above most BL actors in terms of hotness level. At least for me he is sex on sneakers. I could munch on him all week and not get tired. :)
Episode 11 was another low point for the show in terms of scripting and directing. I am seeing more and more that Miko is growing as an actor but Inaki seems a bit more stuck, probably due to bad directing.
The shout-out match in the house was awkward. The dad's rat tail was distracting. The actor who played the dad is just terrible. I hope he is not in Season 2. The mom was OK but having her pop up like that was just weird. The whole thing was very telenovela. Inaki needs to learn to control his lower body when he is doing emotional scenes and he needs to learn that he can convey anger without raising his voice.
The hospital scene was OK. I felt true emotions from Miko but Inaki overacted a bit. Hey, you are just putting some space between both of you, is not like you are breaking up forever! Also, why didn't he wait for Sky to be back home? It seemed a bit cruel to take a break now that he is in the hospital.... Also, why even take a break now that he is in the hospital?He is literally not able to be with Ace until he gets out of the hospital so.... Like, seriously, were they planning to hump each other on the bed? Never mind, let's not ask that LOL
Overall, the hospital breakup scene and the coming out scene were overacted and badly scripted or too improvised. I love both Inaki and Miko and I have to say, my hat is off to Inaki because you can tell he tries very hard... I mean, the man is literally leaving sweat and tears in this show. Sometimes he seems to be the only one that is trying to act, everyone else, except Miko and Moira, comes out as dull and like a caricature. So while I want to criticize the episode, I have to say I am not putting down Inaki, Miko or Moira's performance (or Sky's mom or Miss Becky). I think those guys are doing a terrific job with the poor script and vague directing they are given. Inaki will do great with a director who is more focused on polishing the acting...
The whole ruse to get the camera in the room seem so impossible that it was a break in my suspension of disbelief. Same goes for the scenes in the hospital. I kept thinking, why is there a coffee maker in the room? Speaking of rooms, why did the hotel room not have a bed?
I feel a bit bad criticizing the director of this show because he has given us some great moments. My conclusion is that the director needs more maturity or perhaps needs some help. It seems that he edits, directs and scripts the show. It would be nice if he off loads some of the directing to another director, at least every couple of episodes, and if he gets someone to help him polish the script. BTW In that steamy scene, it was so nice to see two people look like they are having real sex. We finally get some stuff that looks realistic, even more realistic IMO than TharnType... You have to appreciate the level of intimacy the actors are willing to go to... I mean, tasting each other's bodies LOL Also, when someone sucks your nipple, it is very titillating. The ear can also be very erogenous, though that depends on the mood but I don't think the nipple is something you can control. You really know that both of them had to be mildly sexually aroused during that scene. It is just biology.
I am waiting on the series to end to write my much-awaited Disney analysis of the show but just wanted to mention that there was another Disney reference in this episode. Who caught it?

I don't know man, it is a game of survival so if someone is using the content and is promoting the show and I am a producer, I am gonna let it go and look away like I didn't see it but if someone is criticizing the show and saying negative things, I will get upset and push for a strike.
These people are human. They do get hurt. And this show is mostly a one man show so you can't blame the guy for doing that.
Reactors just have to stick to youtube guidelines and that way they can't be silenced.
My god this episode was really cringey. I think the worst actor here is Ace's dad. I couldn't focus on the confrontation…

I feel terrible for Inaki because you can tell that he is the only person that takes his job seriously and really respects his character. He tries so hard to hit the right emotional notes. I think he is going to be a great actor if he really works on it. He seems like the kind of person that works hard and takes his job seriously and I just have to say we need to respect that about him.
When Inaki is not doing well in his scenes, I blame the director 100%. Inaki is not a professional actor. He needs his director to be honest and tell him "don't move your lower body", "don't yell", "don't get that close, he is your dad", etc.
But the editing was just equally bad because a lot of the scene could have been "rescued" and made better if they had shorten it and maybe used different angles.

I agree this episode missed the mark but just as a general comment, "no bueno" is not technically correct in Spanish. It is gringo speak, not true Spanish. In Spanish, you would say "es malo" (it is bad) or "no ES bueno" (it is not good). "No bueno" does translate literally to "no good" but in Spanish you can't say that. You do need the "to be" verb (ES) to link the tacit subject (IT, omitted but implicit) with the adjective and adverb.
No bueno sounds kind of like saying "No want" or "now pay?", it is very foreign sounding, very "gringo".
Sorry, as a Spanish speaker that just is like nails on a chalkboard. :)
