Let me play devil's advocate and attempt to defend the bloopers?1. SW drank his beer all at once, AND before consuming…
Hi. I think its possible this is just fictional and we cant find logic to it. However, i have a chinese friend who says he can get drunk on one beer. The issue is some asian ppl dont have an enzyme that detoxifies alchohol so in theory, its possible.
I have also gotten drunk of one beer. Happens with high abv beer.
I remembered he became the submissive one also before at Dark Blue Kiss .. it was okay .. and P'Pod was the Dominant…
In Thai BL, neither term is correct. I would use the term Uke and Seme. In Thai BL Semes are not always tops, Ukes are not always strict bottoms, and neither has to be submissive or dominant, thought usually the Seme has a dominant personality and the Uke has a submissive personality.
What defines Seme and Uke in Thai BL is who pursues who.
In Japanese BLs, Seme and Uke correspond more to top/bottom and dom/sub, but I would still refrain from using those terms in English when describing Japanese BL, since the most correct and descriptive term is still Uke/Seme, as they are literal archetypes while in English top and bbottom only describes ONE aspect or dimension of the character. The term seme/uke encompasses all of the character's traits.
In the crowded world of Thai BL dramas, where new actors constantly emerge, August Vachiravit truly stands out.…
Just to clarify, August became a huge star after Love Sick. He is in fact one of Love Sicks most successful alums. He has been in a couple of blockbuster movies and lakorns. He has now 10 years of acting experience and afaik is the only LS actor to have done supporting or main roles every year for the last 10 years.
Also, watch the OST for 2moons2. August was the singer and is on the MV. He didnt totally disappear ;)
I am not sure what you mean by having a "stronger" POV, but in any event, I can tell you that this series is less…
Wait, I take #5 back. There was a hint in the last episode that suggest that Wang is in love with Tian. This is when Wang says he wanted a brother "but now...", then he didn't say anything else. I think the unsaid part is, "back then I would have love you as a brother, now I want to love you as more than a brother"....
So, I think that unsaid part is the hint that Wang knows how he feels about Tian.
Okay, I finally binged this last night up to ep 5. I really dont wanna say anything negative cause I hear the…
I am not sure what you mean by having a "stronger" POV, but in any event, I can tell you that this series is less expositional and more subtle about what's going on. For example, in the last 6 episodes I have gathered that:
1) Wang feels abandoned by his dad. He feels like everyone leaves him. Mom died, dad is always out doing something. He moves a lot so he doesn't make any friends. He has withdrawn like a turtle into his shell. 2) Tian's relationship with his mom is good. I think they are hinting Tian has daddy issues (while Wang has both mommy and daddy issues, but his mommy issues are stronger). Tian is more withdrawn than Wang. His grandpa said he doesn't get close to anyone. I think he does this to protect himself, but why, we still don't know yet. 3) Mom is trying her best to win over Wang and has slowly gotten closer to him. I think there is an important connection here of love and food. Wang's mom died in the kitchen. He had a hard time accepting Tian's mom's food. For some reason he accepted Tian's grandpa's food faster, probably because he sees the mom as competing with his mom. I think these are all relationships that will grow as the series goes on. 4) Based on Tian's first moment (EP1), I think we are meant to assume that Tian fell for Wang the moment he saw him. This explains his behavior towards Wang very well. He is smitten and probably feels mixed emotions about moving into the house (he wants to be close to Wang but he also fears falling in love) 5) I am not sure if Wang knows that he is attracted to Tian, but he knows that he needs Tian. He knows Tian makes him happy. This is one of the mysteries of this series for me. Does Wang really know he is gay? At first I thought he did, but based on a few hints in the last two episodes, I am starting to think he doesn't. I think he is confused. 6) In the last episode we learned that grandpa is trying to look out for Tian. He warns him of the consequences of trusting in someone who only sees friendships as transactional. I am not sure where this is going but I am glad Tian didn't follow his advice for now. 7) Wang is not comfortable accepting Tian's "gifts" (water, medicine, etc) and always seems to want to reciprocate. As I said, Grandpa sees this as a bad omen, but I think the reason Wang is like this is because he moved around so much, he never developed the kind of friendships that are not transactional. 8) We also learned in the last episode that Tian is opening up to Wang and that he is starting to feel like he can unpack. Unpack his bags and probably his feelings... 9) We are also getting an adult gay side couple who are showing the boys what life could look like for them.
So I think we are getting a LOT of character development. I don't know why you think we are not. This series has been EXCELLENT when it comes to character development IMO.
I have mixed feelings since the actors are so young, and now they are throwing in lesbians like they are decorations.…
GL has to start somewhere. Frankly, I see more GL in BL as a good thing.
BTW Cranium is going to be a really good GL and it is coming out soon. It is from Sain'ts production company, IdolFactory and it is a spin off of The Sign. So, you are already seeing more GLs. :)
Why do they need to cast 18 year old when this series is about teenagers?
If you want to see soft-core porn, there is plenty of BL to watch. This is just a really sweet story about first love and the pains of falling in love for the first time.
The OG was not 18+. Whoever told you that doesn't know what 18+ means.
There were only 2 scenes that were borderline "sexual" in the OG. One is a sort of forced sex scene of a female character, but if I recall correctly, it was more implied than anything else. There was no skin shown or anything like that.
The other scene is the kiss between Phun and Noh, but by today's standard, it was very tame. There was a second kiss that was a bit more passionate, but it was cut from the OG when it aired and was shown years later at a fan meet.
And that's it. Oh, the "sex" scene was basically them going into bed and then they panned down to a fish tank in the room and showed two goldfish sort of chasing each other. Only way to know they had sex is if you had read the novel.
I believe that there is also a few double entendre, including the friend group telling Noh that he has pretty much sold his ass to Phun for money. Noh also asks Phun if he has forgotten about the front door (Aim's woman's parts) after trying out the back door (Noh's ass). So yeah, there is lots of double entendre but nothing really that would not pass the muster of censorship. After all, MCOT is a government owned channel.
I can actually finally say Maya was starting to annoy me. I don't hate maya or anything I simply think she has…
I also thought she knew, but her reaction at the end of Ep 10 makes me think she didn't know until the end of Ep 10. So, I think we need to judge how she reacts now. Will she step aside? Will she support Sugihara?
night flight has one of the weakest conclusions on its own plot they built let's that sink in, just because it…
Are we really going to argue about best BLs ever here? Everyone has different taste. What you find amazing, i might find mundane. What you find derivative, i might find original.
I really don't get what you are all talking about. This series is fantastic. The slow burn is intense.
It has a lot of cute moments. Personally, I live for those little moments, the hand holding, the intense stares, the sexual tension when we see one of them shirtless and the other one wanting to eat him whole. LOL
I also love when they develop other relationships like right now the developing relationship with the mom and the grandpa.
I am curious though. What is it that you find boring? What would you like to see more of? less of? What is a series you did NOT find boring?
Let's be real this is not bad but 8.2 for this is just unfair and high for this , how on earth night flight and…
I haven't watched most of those. I haven't been to interested. I started Where Your Eyes Linger and dropped it because I am not into period dramas.
I think Cherry Magic is an entirely different type of series.
Addicted the original has way too many issues, so I personally wouldn't rate it at all (it didn't finish). The current TH version is good, but I think this series is better (better acting in general, better script too).
So, I think these are your opinions. We can't all agree on what is the best series or what is a good series...
I would rate this at the moment at 9 or 9.5. So, there you go. :)
I have also gotten drunk of one beer. Happens with high abv beer.

Absolutely nothing girly about him in this role. I also don't see any female energy or vibes.
