Is this drama worth watching? Hi spoiler plz about the story and the below question1. When is the main couple…
Personally, I loved it, it was a perfect feel-good watch for me. If you are looking for angst and high-octane drama, you won't find much of it here, but if you need a (mostly) fluffy romcom, it certainly fits the bill.
1. When is the main couple officially together? The first (fake) marriage happens in the episode 6, but they are still just friends at that point. Then they have falling out and slowly patch things up in the next 10 pisodes or so. I'd say, things start getting properly romantic somewhere around episode 16, and their second marriage happens in e26.
2. Any breakup for the main couple? If the breakup is there how long (like how many eps)? There are no breakups per se, but they do separate for a few episodes in the penultimate arc (ML has to leave the capital in e27, but FL chases after him and finds him in e30). And two shorter separations near the finale (of the usual "I have to leave you for your own good" kind), but those don't last.
3. Breakup period any time skip is there for the main couple? Episodes 28-30 are definitely very skippable; they are almost pure filler (probably hastily rewritten to fill the runtime after the lead actor got injured during the filming).
5. 2ml or 2fl syndrome is there? 2nd and 3rd couples are cute, but, imho, hardly the syndrom material.
6. Any ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend annoying character is there? No, not really. There is a bandit character, who appears around e30 and falls for FL, but she is never interested in him, and ML also never perceives him as a romantic rival.
7. Is it happy or sad or an open ending? or rush ending? Happy ending, maybe a bit rushed (would love to see some domestic bliss scenes after the marriage), but only slightly. There is beautiful grand wedding in the finale, for all the couples.
Fans saw what happened with FYH. The ML's screen time was significantly reduced after episode 27 while the secondary…
More screen time is fine, but no matter how much I love LYX, 95% screen time is absurd. You can't create a coherent narrative if you cut the scenes of everyone but the lead, especially in an ensemble drama. It's also fine to pressure ZSTC and advocate for better treatment of LYX (he certainly deserves it, and it's long overdue). But it should not be done through attacks on other actors—it only tarnishes the reputation of the LYX fandom and, by proxy, LYX himself. And things only get worse when there are plenty of LYX antis joining in under the guise of his fans, adding even more absurd demands and personal attacks. You can easily see them fanning the flames and trying to direct the LYX fandom to tear apart his own dramas, be it SLY or possible future projects. Even with the screentime demands, it was 75% at first, then 80%, 90%, 95%... what's next, 150? So far, the whole bruhaha hasn't reached the epic levels of facepalm, like it has happened with some other big fandoms in recent months, but oh boy... the antis will be doing everything in their power to bring it to a similar level, and the closer the SLY airing date gets, the worse it can become.

Yeah, but that reduction in screen time happened because of LYX's injury, not because of some malicious meddling. There is no need for fans to make fools of themselves with those absurd demands for 95% screen time and lashing out against other actors and crew; they're only embarrassing themselves and causing trouble for LYX.

Have seen some recent rumors (from this weekend), that Duan Yihong and Zheng Hehuizi might be his co-stars in 《锁证》. Who knows how reliable those rumors are, but it would be awesome if they prove to be true.
Judging from today's episodes, "it gets better when they return to the capital" is a motto of this drama. Great to see them all back together again. Things are clearly moving to the grand finale.
