I was disappointed by how it turned out at ep 10. I think her growing to enjoy a different pace of life, just looking at trees, enjoying the sea, sunsets, running, would have been enough and made a great drama for me. I think escaping the turmoil of the city brought her closer to the essence of life. Having a mindset where you can just look at flowers grow and not just press on, would have been more than enough of a message. But they had to make it conventionally dramatic which turns to the whole thing into something else. Just my opinion. Still waiting for a drama where nothing bad happens bc always anticipating bad things happening in dramas is frankly tiresome. Life is stressful enough this time of year. I guess I just wanted the drama to bring summer vibes and a more relaxed philosophical athmosphere into the darkness and toil of the winter.
i really love this drama !!! Up until episode 9/10 i really liked the story. Personally i really wish they wouldnt…
I do agree, I was disappointed by how it turned out. What happened in that? It's ok to give me spoilers
It's a happy ending because the 3 stay together as friends. I understand that people who shipped Yoona and Siwan did not like the ending. But she had different love for the two.
is it romantic? how is the skinship between the leads?
Yes, it's very romantic. Btw, King in Love is one of the most satisfactory full-blown romantic dramas. This is lighter. About skinship, see my comment below.
Currently at ep 12. The whole plot advances only bc people don't communicate or share their important pieces of information. If the FL police at least would give short succinct explanations of what is known of the case so far. Should be part of the job. But no, just staring and crying is policing supposedly. FL is so incomprehensible. I see gaping plot holes and the noncommunication in all directions (like between sister and brother, sister and sister-in-law, etc etc) drives me nuts.
He was a good guy? Two episodes in i wanted him dead, i dropped it 3 episodes in no way.
It's not your thing. I was dropping it after 3 ep's too but it's now my treadmill watching. it doesn't get any better regardless of whether he's a good guy or not. Just an average murder and detective drama.
Everyone is talking about the good chemistry between the leads. I just want to say that Park Ju Hyun is an amazing…
I don't think IU, Suzy, Sooyang, Yoona, Bona, to name but a few, are any worse, on the contrary. It's all about talent. Entertainment industry is performance training and the distinction between "real" actor training and idol training doesn't really make sense when looking at actual role performances. Much of what is professionality is learned on the job. Also, I'm not so keen on Park Ju Hyun, sorry, I keep wanting Kim Hye Yoon to be in her place.
Love this drama and it's painful to wait for the next episode to air. Only one thing I don't like, the fake kisses. KYD really sets the screen on fire. That's prob the reason for the nomination for the KBS best couple award. But it's too early days for that. In Shooting Stars, I remember KYD having had real kisses in the scenes where he was shooting films. Fake kisses w. Lee Sung Kyung. LSK crumpled her face before the kiss, so obvious she had a problem. Kissing shouldn't be such a big deal, imo, it's part of the profession. Okay, end of the rant.
don't be turned off by the low rating, this drama is hilarious! Slow-burn, simmering, ticklish funny. It doesn't represent any established genre. Completely unpredictable! Great acting. Nothing is boring or random or filler, just very entertaining.
