To everyone blaming Korea, can you name even a single just and humane state? If you think Korea sucks then it's…
SK is a nation of children bc it demands that celebrities are role models. In most countries celebrities are expected to be the bad behaving kids.

The drama is gaining in mature audience looking for not too sappy suspense in a thriller which is set in a country…
The idiot childish fluffy romantic drama watcher theory. Making assumptions about why people like or dislike particular dramas will satisfy your sense of superiority which is what most commenters using the theory are after. Pls try to stick to commenting about the drama, not bashing other watchers.

I'm enjoying the drama, those who didn't, don't can just stop watching it. There are plenty of fluffy dramas out…
The idiot childish fluffy romantic drama watcher theory. Making assumptions about why people like or dislike particular dramas will satisfy your sense of superiority which is what most commenters are after. It doesn't enter their heads that some people may have a wider view of the k-drama production situation.

I only watched the first episode and saw a disturbing scene that reminded me of the Game of Thrones atmosphere.…
me too. I'd never watch the Game of Thrones, couldn't watch. K-dramas are superior in many ways, the character depth and story development are engaging without any shock values or forced wokeness. Best k-dramas are heartwarming and sympathetic towards even not-so-perfect-humans. I can also see the loss of the essence of k-dramas. Or lack of understanding and respect for what makes k-dramas great. Particularly in Disney productions. Am drifting to c-dramas, with all these disappointments in recent k-dramas.

I can understand why the daughter doesn't want the father back with the mother, but I can't understand why the mother would have something against the daughter's new relationship.

I agree with you. Also I can already see that this s***show will win all the awards. It has none of the qualities which made me fall in love with k-dramas and all the qualities that made me stop watching western dramas.

There's no need to bash other commenters, just write your opinion about the drama. People will ALWAYS disagree about the qualities of dramas due to different experiences and backgrounds. MDL's pretty toxic these days, I think there should be a big banner in all pages laying down some ground rules of discussion. I don't think I've ever seen so many comments insulting other people as here though. You can't make people agree with you by insulting them.
