It's just one person with hundreds of bot accounts upvoting the bad reviews. Reviews never get 600 upvotes. Same person with 2 different profiles in this very strand responding to you. I'm not a psychiatrist but let's just not pay attention bc it's really kinda sad.
OK, have watched episode 4.After reading Sun Hui's diary, would her parents kill Hyeon U next?If Hyeon U is killed…
Yep, it looks like Hyeon U is in danger of getting killed. Support will prob come from the male relative (Yoon Sang Hun), who very probably is Sun Hui's real father.
After 4 eps, The Perfect Family remains a fascinating psychological thriller. Very underrated imo, but maybe this genre is not for everyone. The only thing I don't like is Park Ju Hyun's acting, she lacks the high schooler looks and her eyes are unexpressive. Yoon Se Ah and Kim Byung Chul are fantastic though.
The movie is very clearly a child of classic Greek tragedies. The cinematography is awesome. Fantastic acting. I was immersed, the film creates it own universe without any attempts at realism. 8/10.
Good film, but very predictable. Nothing that we haven't seen many times before. The message that ordinary people turn into hyenas in crises just doesn't sit well with me. Same problem as in Happiness. Lee Byung Hun was great once again and elevated the level of the film. If Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young had been written as more steadfast heroes I'd have liked this more. I may be childish, but that can't be helped.
Kim Jee Soo is such a fantastic actress, it's amazing how she can reduce her husband to nothing with one stony gaze. Forever the Queen of Silla to me. Hoping and expecting that she'll remain the strong woman as this drama proceeds.
Today every month sees the amount of new kdramas that used to be produced in a year. It's clear that you have to be able to pick and discard. Personally I can see in 5 or 10 minutes whether a kdrama is for me or not.

It's MDL that's crappy. People always say they're in a drama slump and that there's nothing to watch. And then watch garbage like Serenpidity's Embrace as if there was nothing else in the kdramaworld to watch. Just a minuscule amount of effort will land me a great new or old drama, easily, always. (I've finished 600). If in a slump there are always shorter dramas and KBS drama specials which are very worthwhile, the scripts have been picked through competition. I can watch also great c-dramas (To The Wonder or Three-Body for example) but I could never ever watch western dramas again.
