Mostly disagree with the whole article. Long time K drama lover here. I started watching them in 2005 when the…
totally agree. It's MDL that's crappy. People always say they're in a drama slump and watch garbage like Serenpidity's Embrace as if there was nothing else in the kdramaworld to watch. Just a miniscule amount of effort will land me midst in a great new or old drama, easily. (I've finished almost 600). If in a slump there are always shorter dramas and KBS drama specials which are very worthwhile, the scripts have been picked through competition.

A very good psychological thriller so far. I'm hoping that there won't be too many twists and turns. Some but not too many. Too many wears me out.

2024 has been a fantastic year for kdramas. Several 10/10 dramas: Like Flowers in the Sand. Represents all the qualities which make people fall in love with kdramas. Begins Youth. Very beautiful and very sad. After crying buckets you soul is truly cleansed. Bittersweet Hell. Queen of Tears. Lovely Runner. It says everything about the writer of this post that there's a gif of f**** Taylor Swift. OMFG.

Title Yonder
A peacefully paced sci fi drama about acceptance of death. There's not too much explaining, it's rather an invitation for the viewer to reflect on the themes. I really liked the openness. Although the events are shocking, the narration is not dramatic. We get to observe the designed afterworld program along with the ML. Great acting by Shin Ha Kyun and Han Ji Min (my fave role of hers so far along with Our Blues; she really isn't made for comedy but for bigger challenges like this). The cinematography is awesome. Highly recommended 8.5/10.

lukewarm romance, below mediocre drama. don't really understand why this was even made. Not a single sparkle of…
I'd recommend Salon de Nabi for romance(s) that give butterflies. or King in Love

Title Never Twice
This is a really written drama. It's also sympathetic and not boring for a minute despite the lenght. The found family trope never fails. It's satisfactory that the bad guys get their punishment and even more satisfactory that there's forgiveness and character growth in the end. All the characters are multidimensional, we get to know and like them despite their flaws and weaknesses.

I just can’t connect with this FL. she is too boring and why does she keep taking same character in different…
I agree, she's sleepwalking through this role. I liked both her and Song Kang in Love Alarm though. The thing here in MDL is that's obviously not okay to criticize FLs without the gender warfare warriors shooting arrows at you.

The story is a bit similar with My Unfamiliar Family. But My Unfamiliar Family is better for the genre melodrama.…
the parents were always together in My Unfamiliar Family. I think My Unfamiliar Family is a way better family drama, serious and realistic but warm-hearted.

Title The Auditors Spoiler
This could easily have been 16 episodes (I never thought I'd say this bc most 16 ep dramas have lots of filler moments). Jo Aram did very well. Jung Moon Sung was good in the villain role, he portrayed none of the usual boring villain antics.

Reading the synopsis, I was immediately reminded of 'Numbers' . I dropped numbers after 3 or 4 episodes, i don't…
I also dropped Numbers in ep 3 because it was very dry. This is much better.

I'd disagree, there is no violation of privacy here. This is merely what they have shared via their agency, so…
the overall situation is that actors and idols are hunted like animals and have zero privacy. That's something you assist if you read celebrity gossip.

I'm curious as to how this has 9.1 rating but the worst reviews I've seen on MDL. I guess I need to stop reading…
Reviews are upvoted by bots. It's just one person who's good at botgramming. Of course the overall rating shows this clearly.

An entertaining action comedy. Def worth watching. My only complaint is, they didn't have to burn that much money,…
The end scene reference to Narco Saints with Jonathan was not very good as most people may not be familiar with Narco Saints (pls watch if you haven't, it's a 10/10 drama or extended movie).

An entertaining action comedy. Def worth watching. My only complaint is, they didn't have to burn that much money, as this is in no way anything extraordinarily good. 8.5. for lazy summer days.

I always seem to prefer small indie films over the big budget box office hits. This one was really worth watching,…
The description of the film being about revealing secrets or emotional turmoil is not accurate. People come to the guest house and get some distance to their past lives and new beginnings. It's all very harmonious with good vibes.
