the whole drama is an epic failure. No resemblance to the sageuks we know and love. It's a western drama. No character depth, no meaningful dialogues, ridiculous sound effects, fighting and sex scenes just for the sake of appealing to non-k-drama watchers. I can't even distinguish the characters from one another because it's all dark all the time. Queen is far from queenly, she doesn't portray internal strenght (which we're led to believe she must possess). Whoever she marries and which clan wins from the multitude introduced, I couldn't care less. We're given no background about what their policies are, so all of this fighting is just for the sake of fighting, supposedly. I don't believe people were that basic even in pre-historical times. Most characters are pure psychos, which makes them totally uninteresting. 1/10 to this crap. This is an honest opinion from a historical k-drama lover and I'm not the only one who feels this way about this drama (read the article) so don't come at me.

This one's genuinely funny and entertaining. The leads and their chemistry are awesome. I thought I'd never like romcoms again after the many recent disappointments (the 4 ones that started in the last 2 weeks). But this one proves once again that it's not about genre for me. Either the drama pulls me in and makes me invested from the start, or not.

The whole site needs some rules of discussion. Unfortunately it's been sliding downhill for a year or so.

You're a newcomer so I'd suggest writing your own opinions on your own line. Much better for the general vibes than attacking someone else's opinion. You'll never convince anyone with disagreements, everyone has an opinion and it's to be respected, not treaded on.

Just started this, what a fantastic drama.

I tried but couldn't watch, after 30 minutes. Seriously, why was this even made. (Maybe it's for kids since it's just another fluffy fairytale), Maybe will pick it up again some day.

She's a great actress and she really needs more weighty roles. I can't understand why she picked this drama.

In fact, Cheat on Me If You Can, Matrimonial Chaos and My Wife's Having an Affair This Week are all thousand times better kdramas than DNA lover. Mature and realistic. Not in any way cheering for extramarital affairs yet realistically exploring situations in which they can happen. All of them have happy endings.

I agree about FL. She was just as unconvincing in Ghost Doctor though, no improvement here

I totally agree with you. Why can't people just say what they thought about the drama without attacking other people. People will never agree and being here means a chance for learning that exact fact.

I was completely hooked, finished in 2 days and not even considering watching something else in between episodes. Was much more complex than it seemed at first. There were moments when I felt frustrated with not understanding everything. But everything fell nicely into place in the last 2 episodes. Fantastic acting, the crew deserves a lot of praise.

bots have no shows in their list. The most watched drama Goblin's (200 000 +) most upvoted review has 400 upvotes. Achieving 700 upvotes without bots is not possible. Bots are pervasive in the digital environments, unfortunately. (Park Jaechan fans are particularly good at this game, if you understand what I mean)
