Entertaining. But has it flaws with certain things in the plot, some editing choices and direction, but the production and cinematography are insanely good. Also, Apo is a great actor to watch throughout. Solid drama if you need to be entertained for some hours and enjoy a good mix of action and romance.

This was entertaining enough for me personally but it's not the best drama. If you're looking for some spicy NC scenes, the ones in this drama are pretty good... probably the only memorable thing about this drama for me tbh. I think there were quite a few moments that were kinda cringe to watch and I blame the direction tbh. The dialogue was also cringe at times and pretty superficial, but not sure it that may be because of translation. When it came to the character dealing with trauma from being SA-ed, I wish there was better dialogue and execution because it is a heavy topic and should be handled with more care than I think this drama did. Overall though, a decent drama.

This show is so good. It's so hilarious and the "dorama" is surprisingly interesting af lol. Such a cool concept. I'll definitely keep watching the other seasons. The only downside, for me, is that some of the jokes for me went over my head because I don't know too much about other Japanese comedians that they would mention in their jokes but there's plenty of jokes that will easily land no matter what.

Look... this show has its issues. I had some issues with the plot, some of the acting, the direction and the editing. However... this show is fun as hell to watch. It's a wild ride. It's so melodramatic and just plain dramatic, but yet, I was livinggggg for the drama lol. This series is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. I might go back and watch it again some time from now.

This series started off great for me, but the ending just ended up being okay. Felt too rushed which is a shame considering I felt too many scenes dragged on for too long. I do love little things about this drama like the advocating for safe sex, the casual normalisation of getting tested and I appreciate that it wanted to tackle a serious topic like SA. However, I think the writing let down some really important moments because the dialogues felt superficial and missed some great opportunities for really impactful and emotional discussions. Overall, it is a pretty good drama but it has so much potential to be even better.

Really good. Hits all the clichés but is executed in a good and enjoyable way. Son Woo Hyun is great in this role, can't help but enjoy the life he gives to his character.

Not bad. It's a decent watch. I have watched the anime and loved it but I watched this without the anime in mind. I was entertained and actually wanna see the sequel. The sfx is decent, I've seen worse. The actors really did well throughout and sold some of the more extreme moments. It's not gonna be my favourite action/horror/thriller movie but it's okay.

It was surprisingly good despite the over the top gore and violence and some technical imperfections! The cast…
Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking the same thing. My fujoshi mind was racing! Lol. Kaneki topping Amon, Amon making those noises... was beautiful to see 🤭
On Theory of Love Feb 11, 2024
I can see from other comments that I may have a difference of opinion... This not my favourite drama/BL. It's not the best. It had some good moments but it definitely dragged for me. I thought the first 5 to 6 episodes were very repetitive. Even after then pivot in the story, there were still some moments that were repetitive and drawn out to the point I would scroll through them. I did enjoy the idea of a character getting over someone without needing another love interest and I did like how they eventually somewhat made Khai make up for his absolute horrible treatment of Third in the beginning. But overall, even with some good moments here and there, there were still too many technical flaws that pulled me out of the story.
On Million Dollar Man Feb 11, 2024
I think this was a pretty good movie. What does money mean to you? Does money/should money dictate our lives? I think because most of us live in a capitalist society, money tends to overcome us and I believe this movie explores that with the main character and through some of the characters he meets in this movie. When I think about the overall feel of the movie, the first half definitely feels disjointed from the second half, but as far as dialogue, I can see how every conversation is connected and pulls together the end. It's not a faced pace movie nor is it much of a comedy but it definitely has something to say about how money drives society. I think the actors were all phenomenal in their roles, the cinematography was also really good and the story pretty good. As mentioned earlier though, it does feel a bit disjointed for me. However, it's was a solid watch.

I'm kinda confused as to why this BL isnt rated as highly as other BLs. All the BL I've watched and I thought more would like this. I think it hits all the usual BL clichés and was executed pretty well. I've definitely seen worse, plainer and more drawn out romance plots with higher ratings. I was able to watch all of it in one sitting because I wanted more each episodes. Not the best BL out there, but considering the content I am really surprised it not rated higher by majority. I mean, I'm pretty strict with my ratings but I'm still shocked at the overall score.
On Our Dating Sim (Movie) Feb 5, 2024
If you want a simple but cute and sweet romance, this is it. Doesn't do anything new for its genre but it's still a nice watch that will give you some butterflies.
Faarian Feb 5, 2024
I think you've missed the whole point of the movie, my friend.

1) We live in societies that are wealthier than most, with access to luxuries like cars, kitchen appliances, internet, air conditioning, all kinds of food, etc., and yet there are so many unhappy people. So many people hate their lives despite having everything we're told will make us happy and will make us live. The point of going to Vanuatu (an actual country, not just that "poor country"), is because they see people who can live without luxury and a capitalist society and still be happy. People who have lost yet still find joy. They go to that country because it's inspiring. Not because they want to make "some poor people in a foreign country happy".

2) To keep referring to that country as poor just because they don't have luxuries is such a capitalist way of thinking. They may not have a wealthy economy but they have a wealth of happiness which to some is more valuable than luxury.

3) Him leaving the workplace in the manner that he did was important. He left without grudges but with a new and pure heart. It may be a little corny but it's respectable, at least in my opinion. When you're to the point of realisation that you're finally doing what's best for you and your loved ones, you hold no animosity. It is also not his job to worry about who comes on next. That is up to the job of the boss. If his boss created and healthier workplace with a better sense of community, I'm sure he would've taken the month to make sure there was some sort of a smooth handover. But him leaving abruptly and whatever work that needs to get taken on is the consequence of the bosses actions. That's my opinion anyway.

Wow. This was so beautiful, so touching. Cried for so many reasons. That ending really touched my heart. The acting and cinematography was superb. They did a great job with the story and characterisation of the MCs. Just a great film all around.
On Love for Love's Sake Feb 4, 2024
This drama was nice. The acting was really good and the chemistry between all the actors were great. I enjoyed the characters, though the character development of one was more thought out than the other. Now, I have to admit, I am a little confused by quite a few things and I think that's because of how it was executed/edited. The story felt a little too choppy for me. This is the kind of drama that needs more explanation and I think a few more episodes in between would've did that. Overall, it had its good moments, just wish the execution was a bit better.
On Alice in Borderland Season 2 Feb 4, 2024
I think I may have enjoyed the second season more than the first one. I think visually this drama is stunning. The supporting actors and their acting really carried the show. Minor characters were a little over the top for me. The story is okay. I think ending and finding out "the answer" kinda made it all fall a little flat for me. I had some issues with the female characters in the first season and even though they're more badass with the fighting in this one, I still hate that the most sexualised one was the high school student. I'm also glad the show acknowledged that Arisu wouldn't have even gotten far if it wasn't for others. Overall, I think it was an fun watch. I think it had it's very good thrilling moments and some moments that were slowed down too much by excessive dialogue and exposition. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the winning through the "power of love and friendship" cliche in this kind of drama that is supposed to be darker in tone. Because of all that, I gave it a 7. Good but could use some improvement. I'll see what's up with the 3rd season.
On My Beautiful Man: Eternal Feb 3, 2024
This series is such a guilty pleasure for me. Technically, I don't think the storyline is that strong nor is there any significant character development between the two MCs throughout the series but, omgggg, I really enjoy this series. I think it's because the chemistry between the two MCs and supporting characters, especially in this movie, is soooo good.
On The Shortest Distance Is Round Feb 3, 2024
Omg. This is so reminiscent of early 2000s BL movies. Watching those movies back then, you always got super fxcked up or super sad. This one is fxcked up on so many levels lol. I watched both endings, I think I like the noir ending better. (Though you do get an extra sex scene in the blanc ending lol.) Overall, the production was great - cinematography, set and lighting looked great throughout. Didn't look cheaply made at all. As far as story, it was underwhelming despite being fxcked up. Some of the visuals and acting will cause you to have a visceral reaction. Especially the screams in that one scene... wow. Which brings me to the acting. I thought the cast was really good tbh. This movie does have some triggering scenes so I'd watch with caution or not watch at all if you're sensitive to assault. Anyway, despite this movie being good as far as aesthetics and acting, the storyline brings it way down for me. But I still am a bit interested in the other two movies now 🫠

This drama was a decent watch. Honestly, I wanted more from it. I thought all the actors were great but I think…
Also, I couldn't stand the music throughout. Didn't help to add to the emotion in most scenes and didn't fit with most of the scenes anyway. It just stood out too much in a bad way. The closing theme is fire though.
