Sorry, I'm not actually sure which scenes were cut or not, I haven't read the leaked script (which idk if is real or not). I just think it's obvious where some scenes get cut due to bad editing, especially episode 33. For the most part tho, I'd say the editing has been pretty good except maybe the first episode which was sort of choppy.
Also really dislike Di Mian...is it true he actually went undercover to kill the Ancient Devil God?? Maybe he did it at first, but then got tempted to steal his power to be able to stand by Chu Huang's side? Or is it just a matter of the true story getting twisted by Di Mian since 10000 yrs have passed since?
Either way, really don't like him. Like, has he forgetten he wanted to be the new Devil God to be strong enough to be with his goddess wife? Which is so....ugh, he just felt insecure he doesn't have the same status / power as his wife so he became evil and tried to frame it as "doing it all for her" and for their love...yuck 🤢
Then he tries to get all holier than thou with TTJ lmao -_-
I really liked episode 34, glad it wasn't as badly edited as episode 33. Poor TTJ, having to give in to the demon energy to save the ppl :'( He's really come so far from the first episodes...much better development than in the novel tbh, but then again I haven't read much of the immortal arc so maybe he also gets his development there. (Still hate novel TTJ with a burning passion tho)
Anyway, I really hope we can get rid of GJW and Mo Nv soon. I sincerely don't care for their story, altho I like GJW... he's pretty hahaha.
And at this point, I think everyone just needs to accept the immortal arc is going to be somewhat rushed and missing scenes, unfortunately. Like, there's nothing to be done and endlessly complaining is just going to make it so that you don't enjoy the story anymore. I get it tho if people aren't enjoying the current pace, it's not for everyone and it's also valid to say episode 33 was badly done. Even with the deleted scenes and whatnot, I feel like the rest of the episodes haven't been as choppy except maybe the first one. All in all, I just think we need to accept the drama as it is and just decide if you want to keep watching or just put it aside if the way it is now isn't to your taste - better than forcing yourself, I'd say.
Hopefully LSS comes back soon 💖 I want to see the kiss scene I've been seeing videos of hehehe.

It is what it is, we can't change it and just need to accept the story how it is. If ppl keep complaining it's just not going to be fun to watch anymore for them. I saw someone post how episode 33 should've gone according to the leaked script and I'm just going to choose to pretend that's what actually went on (it's mostly the same anyway). Either way, I'm just going to keep watching with an open mind and enjoy it for what it is!

I also felt that the transition from LSS rejecting TTJ to bickering with him was kind of off.....altho I do think when she told him "why go back to the past when we're both immortal disciples now" meant that she wouldn't be as harsh / cold to him, now?? Idk still think it was too sudden lol, and her suddenly getting drunk......I had to pause for a moment there lol. I suspected it was to lure the Ye Mei demon but still, it wasn't really clear, and the dream stuff was also confusing. At least I got some explanation here and it's much clearer now.
Also I do like the idea of Mo Nv and GJW but wish they could've cut them off in favor of more scenes with TTJ & LSS :')
I can understand ppl being mad at LSS but at the same time I understand her. She's just scared, confused, and under immense pressure - I think she just doesn't want to give TTJ any hope, especially when Ji Ze told her they're supposed to be doomed, altho I do agree she's being cruel. I'm glad she's making messy decisions and not perfect at all. But I also think it's kind of interesting how she's playing the role usually given to a male lead, to reject the love interest for the greater good or to protect them, etc. Kind of fun to have the male lead be the one suffering instead heheh. I haven't watched enough xianxia dramas so maybe this is the usual tho xD

The only way I can see this being resolved with LSS still stabbing him with the nails is him realizing YBC was behind the poisoning at least. He might still be mad about LSS rescuing XL but poisoning is a deeper betrayal. LSS will definitely remain cold hearted towards him lol.
