erm.... - Aishiteruze Baby - is already live action http://mydramalist.com/korean-movie/33/baby-me - Nana - is…
Okay AnitaGuida, I haven't read it other than a page or 2. So I'll trust you :). Anyway, whatever is based on what - Aishiteruze Baby, Baby & Me, and Usagi Drop all have the same common theme: A single male (of varying ages) taking care of an unexpected child. But I still don't think the Baby & Me movie is anything like Aishiteruze Baby other than it's a teen taking care of a child. There are just too many differences. Main 1: there's a big difference between a baby boy that hasn't been weaned and a 5 year old girl. So even if the movie is an "extremely" loose adaptation, I don't count Aishiteruze Baby as been fully adapted for live action. It has to have a lot more similarities in order for me, personally, to count it as so. Maybe it would be closer to say that Baby & Me was inspired by the anime/manga...

Actually, she said she would like to see Nana as a live action drama as well as the film already released. Also, for Glass Mask she wants an updated version of the '98 live action. Plus, I thought Baby and Me was more loosely based on the manga of the same name: http://www.mangahere.com/manga/aka_chan_to_boku/
I can see Taiwan doing Uta no Prince Sama, and I think they could actually pull it off.
I would also love to see Aishiteruze Baby as a drama - either from Korea or Japan.
Elfen Lied... ummm... I can't see that being pulled off well in a live action film. But it's something to consider I guess.
Kodocha! My daughter loved that one and so I had to watch it too. It was a gem. I would like to see it live action. It's a zany show and I think Japan would be best at pulling off its zaniness. :) Tho' they do tend to change the stories in the process of turning anime to live action :/
One Million Yen Girl was a sweet movie. I'd recommend it too.
Being a recluse myself, I most identified with Castaway on the Moon and it's now one of my favorite movies.
These are great choices and your article reminded me that I need to hurry and watch Memories of Matsuko :)
I really liked this drama although I really didn't like Inagaki Goro, any drama/movie I've seen him in he's always…
It's based on a true story of how a comedy writer ended up with his wife. So the story is all about their journey to marriage. So while the outcome is known, the process itself is sweet. Not a perfect or outstanding drama, but I'm actually glad I watched it (despite the "6" score I gave it). Some episodes just seemed a bit slow is all.

I did see one drama where Inagaki Goro played the male lead and his character was actually nice (but a little bit wishy-washy) in Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru. Maybe he just does better at playing the conniving character?
I enjoyed watching this. It wasn't perfect, but it was enough for me to enjoy it.
Even if they don't make a 2nd season they should at least make a 2-hr special. The romance part of the story needs some closure - I'd like to see Eisuke with Chie, but even his continuing relationship with Maria was too vague.

Hi there :). Thanks for the friend request. Yes, you're right, I'm an editor on the MDL staff. A very human one too (-_-;).
My personal list is slightly different, but I'm not surprised by the survey results.

I see you have your drama plate full too! I went through your list to see if you've made progress. On your past dramas. I see a few of them are still slow-going.
How's life in Deutschland? Spring arrive? Here it's nice to see clear skies and warmer weather.
I don't know what happened. It's just a few of the airing dramas looked interesting and I couldn't stop myself from starting. I think I'm changing my habits. And Sweet Sweet Bodyguard... this is an anomaly for me so I don't think I'll do it too often.
Oh my self-purchased gifts? FTIsland's 2013 concert DVD and also expecting the Fabulous Boys OST CD in the mail later... my "happy feels" are further expressed at my blog: sarahsidhesaid.blogspot.com/2014/03/happy-feels.html. I swear I felt like a teenage girl when the package was delivered.

Thank you for the birthday wishes :). I received an early present a few days ago that I purchased for myself... am expecting another one in the next couple days. Otherwise, we'll be celebrating late since my husband had to work yesterday and today. :(
Drama watching is good. I actually found an 82-ep drama to watch *GASP* & it's actually pretty good. I'm already over 1/2 done.
I watched the first ep of Dal Ja's Spring a long time ago but haven't gotten around to watching more of it. It was during my 'slump' period so I may have to try it again. But I have a full drama plate right now. I unexpectedly started watching dramas that are currently airing *another GASP!*
Anyway, husband & I will be watching Legal High together. He has this week off so that will be our show.
And don't be sorry about not being around. Life happens - that I know
From what I've seen in the past where people tried to boycott or make a fuss over a controversial tv show or movie or book it tended to cause what I call "the curiosity effect". For example, if you insist on banning a book people will naturally be curious about the cause of the banning. So they'll read it to sate their curiosity. I think the same thing happens with dramas like this one. If the hospital continues to make protests people will be more curious about why they're protesting the drama. Making a big issue out of it, in this case, won't bring the result they want.
I could actually write a comment in reply to your article that is as long as this article. But these are my initial thoughts.
It was a well written article, by the way. Keep up the good work!
One thing I like about her is that even though she's really pretty she's not afraid to do comedy. Not many beautiful actresses/models like her would be daring enough to do the type of comedy she does. They may try, but I haven't seen anyone pull it off like she does... yet. I look forward to her future work.

I'm not sure what to watch with him next. It would have to be either something very funny or something with a lot of action. It can't be a melodrama, as much as he might like the story he wouldn't stay awake (I know him too well). So I'm going to go through the list of airing dramas at both Viki and Dramafever and see what we both might like. Probably something not on my list yet...
Anyway, I plan on finishing a drama today since I only have 2 eps of it left- Everything About my Relationship - it's a rom-com that actually keeps its humor to the end instead of turning into a bit of melo. Still has the trials for the leads to overcome, but at least the light feeling is kept to the end. No angsty stuff. Not sure what to rate it yet, but it will be positive :)

I agree - if the guy I choose isn't what the female ends up with then she made the wrong choice - lol. So it's nice on those rare occasions when my OTP matches the writers' choice ^.^
Actually, he's been watching Lets Eat with me from episode 4. I rewatched the first few eps with him and then as soon as each new ep is subbed we watch it. It's our Friday or Saturday activity :D. He's sad to see it end too - one more ep to go!
Next time in the mood for a music drama I'll give Dream High a go.
