I wouldn't count on that, this is makjang. 'Tis but a flesh wound.
Considering the number of times Dongju "died"...it could be a family trait to beat death?😉
Jokes aside, we didn't even get to see Ildo's wife confront him (perfect makjang material) so they might put him in a coma at least? Then again, sacrificing his life for his son right when it felt they might have a chance to reconcile in the long run is an overused universal thrope🫠
If you think about it, the reason why Cheong Seop was supposed to sit next to Geum Myeong at the theatre on that faithful day was because the ticketing officer probably saved his seat after GM purchased the ticket.
Mao saved Ando when they were young and Ando's been hopeless for her since then 🤞
Did you watch the last episode?? 🙈🙈🙈 How did you find it?
I wish if they didn't spend so much time on corporate drama but really loved seeing how fired up Mao was.
I'm honestly glad Azuma turnwd out to be good. She lives in her own world but isn't malicious🥲
The fact tha5 she found Ando's long lost love story such a bore is so hilarious- very her!🤭
Even Kota's character was handled well i guess? He grew a conscience but still remains pathetic. Hopefully he'll mature more.
The dad's character could have been handled better ngl. What do you think? He just went out of control at point, acting like an emperor instead of a chief🤦♀️
I can't seem to get into the female lead anymore since she walked straight past ML up the aisle to her new husband-to-be,…
To be fair, she wanted the shares to get enough power to find out the truth behind her dad's death. She's selfish but not greedy. She's a grieving daughter who was forced to call her father's "alleged" killer her step father and her mum wasn't there for her either.
IMO, her fault is that she could have been kinder to Dongju and break up with him once the wedding was confirmed. Since she even knew that Dongju was her wedding planner, she should have freed him more soon🙊
I have watching this drama twice - it was not flawless, but oddly addictive. But one thing I have not been able…
I just started the drama but had the same question as well.🙈
Were the "friends" her friends originally or the husband's? Since the wife is very influential, my guess is that they wanted to continue to enjoy the perks of having her around while continuing their friendship with the husband (why pick him i don't understand since he seems to be abit of a meh guy so far).
It could also be for a variety of petty reasons between jealousy and secretly enjoying the downfall of their neighborhood's "perfect couple" to simply enjoying being part of a scandalous secret?
People are just opportunistic - at least that's what I've noticed in similar real life situations 🫠
Ladies don't be nice to a boy unless you wanna be in a relationship with him. Doesn't Maika know she owes Shun…
It's all about self esteem i guess. He misunderstood her rejection as "you are not worthy of dating me" which is essentially how everybody else has been treating him- even his mother.
Shun should have at least tried to talk to her but alas teenagers tend too lean towards dramatic endings 😅😅😅
Ngl i felt so bad for YB since he did try to help but his mum pretty much put him on mute. His only fault is that…
Totally agree with you! Who you spend most of your time with can define your actions.
GS lived all his moments with Ae Sang- even as a kid, one of the last things he did every night was to make that Ae Sang had her own fish to eat. That kind of devotion is rare 🥲
Ngl i felt so bad for YB since he did try to help but his mum pretty much put him on mute. His only fault is that he didn't take his mum's hatred too seriously even when there were signs that she would never stop hurting GM and her family. GM did the right thing to walk away from that mess 🫠
I feel like prople are judging him too hard. His mother is waaaaaaay worse the Gwan Sik's. Gwan Sik's at least responded to his pleas and at least begrungingly folded at times whereas YB's mum was just fueled with hatred - nobody can control her🤦♀️

They didn't release a preview of ep 14 right?
It was insightful and relatable- specially GM's brother's and SIL's stories as well as YB's story with his controlling mother.
You reap what you sow. Certainly something worth learning
They were so certain CS would be there too 🥲
The ending was sweet but i feel like we were robbed...idk why?
Did you enjoy it?🙈

Really if they didn't end ep 12 with THAT cliffhanger 🥲
I'm more curious to know how did Eonnma's dad ended up with a woman like her mum. She seems like the anti- version of him.

In terms of Makjang, how melodramatic is it?
I keep gravitating towards this drama every few years but have never really tried it sinxe it's not really my genre 🙈
PS: no spoilers 🤫
Shun should have at least tried to talk to her but alas teenagers tend too lean towards dramatic endings 😅😅😅
In 2025, coming back home with a baby on the way wokld be 🫡 worthy🤭

I am so proud of Gyeum Myeong and feel bad for Yeong Beum but life goes on 🫠
