IKR?! He keeps taking EVERYTHING from Hosu🫠 If it wasn't for the fact that Miji is one of the protagonists and it's a healing drama, I'd fear for her life honestly 🙈
Miji's ex's story (basically he was gay- but Miji played along as his GF to protect him from being cast away/…
No worries :)
TBF Rosa was very subtle- it was her facial expressions, hesitation and vague phrasing, as well as her silence that mostly gave it away.
Even I noticed it because her behaviour reminded me of C-BLs (BLs are generally banned in China so directors and writers get reaaaaally creative with the use of subtle actions to tell a story without actuallly saying that it's a romance). 😊
did i miss an episode why is everybody talking about miji's ex's story what story?
Miji's ex's story (basically he was gay- but Miji played along as his GF to protect him from being cast away/ looked down by society and their class bullies) kind of resurfaced because the fans are at odds over Rosa's identity story in ep 10.
Spoilers ahead ⚠️ Some believe that Rosa and SW are just BFF-soul sisters while others believe that SW was in love with Rosa. Then there are others who are not happy that the writer is trying to promote some kind of "agenda" by using Rosa as a queer story line.
Personally IMO, based on our Rosa (SW)'s actions, it's fairly clear that at least she romantically loved the real Rosa but the writer wasn't queer bating. Their story is in line with OUS's main theme and isn't out of place just like with Miji's Ex's story line.
The whole point of SW and Rosa's arc is that their love was so pure that they were willing to do anything for eachother- even sacrifice their identity in order to survive a very misogynistic society🥲
There's no hidden agenda - even if there was, all the writer suggested was that the world can be too cruel when it comes to women and minorities.
He's just a doppelganger who took advantage of Mire's vulnerabilities. Ep 1 kiiiind of gave a hint when they mentioned…
True 🥲 Hopefully it's just stress induced since it first kjnd of acted up while he was arguing with the other lawyer. Previews can be misleading anyway🤞
Anything that is sexual in nature and unwanted is SA and/or harassment, including words. In situations like the…
He panicked because she started to ignore him. It wasn't entirely panic only wither really but her silence also hurt his ego. Her cold shouldering him suddenly was a constant reminder of his mistake.
Add to that, people gossip. It's a known fact that Mire and PSY were close colleagues. Mire suddenly cutting ties with her only ally must have seemed suspicious. Since PSY's wife used to work there, he must have started to feel uneasy that if the gossip went out of hand, both his reputation and marriage might face consequences. By calling out Mire for harrasing him publicly, he changed the story line. The initial gossip was that they were in an affair but after his outburst, he shifted the blame onto Mire. Afterall, Mire's reputation was already bruised whereas PSY was known as a great guy. Who wwould they believe right?
the rosa/sangwol story?! WRAP THIS SHIT UPPP dpmo 😭 i was already starting to grt annoyed by the big amount…
Rosa's story will help Miji and Hosu finally realize what they want to do with their life and career choices. Mire too will be affected since she's planning to help expose the scandal connected to the redevelopment project
They were just good friends who supported each other through thick and thin. Their “relationship” was simply…
It makes perfect sense to add a tragic love story eben if it's gay forward TBF considering the theme of the drama.
What happened to Miji's Ex is sad but Rosa's story is more complexed.
Rosa's tragedy isn't queer bating- the point of their tragedy is how women and minority societies are so poorly protected and even worse back in the day, that vermin like Rosa's husband got away with anything. Their story shows how society failed them and how it pushed a completely innocent, kind hearted, hard working woman like SW to lose her identity to survive and protect her family. She just happens to be in love with Rosa and dyslexic.
I was expecting her back story to be about a secret romance/them trying to hide they're lesbians or something,…
That's what i love about their relationship- it's so pure.
Like SW definitely loved her romantically but never expected it to be reciprocated. Real Rosa's feelings on the other hand are open to intepretation- did she romantically lobe SW back? Or did she love SW so much it was beyond what words could describe? SW was literally her guardian angel in disguise time after time afterall. It doesn't really matter in the end since their love surpasses labels.🥲
also when she said “when i come back from work, she would be waiting at home with the son” implying she considered…
But why did SW leave Rosa when they were young in that case? Just because a guy asks your roommate/ friend/ relative out, you don't leave your co-space. Specially back then when people like Rosa were more conservative.
SW specifically mentioned that she didn't want her presense to tarnish Rosa's life but at that particular moment nothing happened to trigger her self esteem issues that badly. The long silence says it all 🙊
It probably was one sided love with mutual respect. Their love was pure and unconditional.
Hi, can you guide me as to how you are watching this? Pretty please? I am such not at all tech savvy.
Hey there- sorry been busy!
Balancing dramas with your PHD is beyond amazing - i hope everything goes well!!! 🫡👏👏👏👏 How did you survive?🙈
Nami Uraraka- Have you had a chance to figure out how to use the discode link? I think I might actually end up creating a profile sinde the machine translation version is taking soooo long to update it feels like an eternity now😭
OUS is good. It's kind of funny how literally everybody I know say the same thing about the ML🙈 I don't mind him I guess since I've only seen him in Devil Judge before. But honestly you should try OUS if you get a chance. The ML is only part of the story and there's soooooo much more than him. Personally I empathize with his character but ngl I'm getting a little too obsessed with the second couple (their story is a more quiet mature kind of love that you don't really see that often in kdramas). PBY truly outdid herself too since I almost always forget that she doesn't actually have a twin in real life. It's a tear jerker though - rather introspective experience since you can relate to everybody in some way or other 🥲
Other interesting dramas wise, I watched Reset (c-drama) yesterday in one sitting- totally recommend it. It might feel a little slow in ep 1 but it gets soooo much better as the mystery unfolds. As a fan of LR, you'll probably like this (being an expert in time loops and desperation to save your loved ones/ society) 🙊

I don't think he will have a SE. It might be his final obstacle to overcome his greatest issue- accepting himself as a whole?🤞🤞🤞🤞
At the moment Miji, Mire, Se Jin, and even the twins's mum have almost come to the end of their personal battles but Hosu still is struggling with it. For instance during his hug with Mije, he mentioned that what he was looking for was something to do with being a whole person right? At the moment he believes that Miji is his answer. But he's wrong. He still is sensitive about his scars even around Miji (yesterday's episode for instance with the cardigan). I feel like him potentially becoming completely deaf might push him to truly look at himself and learn to love himself?
Will they make him deaf? No idea...since the drama has been pretty realistic so far, perhaps this chapter might be left with an open ending but with a positive light regardless of the outcome since Hosu wouldn't crumble? (Idk i think i'm rambling at this point 🙈)
*apply all anti-jinx properties*
(Besides they don't have enough screentime left since they'll wrap up the drama next week)
