Try to watch till ep 27 - their distance is excruciating but by ep 27, the change makes more realistic at least…
Ahh i see! Yes I think they will be releasing ep 32 on Monday if I'm not mistaken π
If you plan to continue, may be try watching those 2 episodes at 1.5X speed? π The episodes mostly cover how Sang Yan finds out about WYF's past by visiting her old haunts in Yihe, Nauwn, and B...( apologies can't remember the exact names of the cities) as well as how WYF rediscovers herself/ inner strength π
The reason it makes me upset the most it that because of this change the director has dumbed down two characters…
Ngl even i found it a little odd how YiFan wasn't cautious about working alone at night (specially since it was shown that she wasn't aware of his work schedule to plan ahead even).
About the intern, somebody pointed out in the comments that the intern called Sang Yan to the party based on their final nod (assumption is that the intern was worried about WYF though he didn't connect the reason behind it was the security guardian/ Sang Yan wasn't aware of the party location).
The person I hate the the the THE MOST is Wen Yifan's mother. She's the worst person I've ever seen. She's much…
Tell me about it! Even the aunt's goal is to protect her brother.
What was the mum's reason? The fact that she kept gas lighting poor WYF even when she nearly died is just *i can't think of a word bad enough to describe her*π
βοΈWen YiFan : I want to get better so I deserve you
π Sang Yan : You're already enough. You disappearing without a word what was really destroyed my world
Noticed that a few viewers were disappointed that Sang Yan accepted WY Fan back without any hesitation but throughout today's episodes there were subtle nods to show that SY did not discount his own pain. He didn't sugarcoat it when he told Yifan that her disappearance "destroyed" his world.
Even during their WeChat text montage, one of the first messages they showed was how SY admitted to WYF that he was mad that she didn't tell him anything but also was mad at himself for not trying harder to know her.
TBF Sang Yan did the best he could by even getting the police involved and WY Fan contacted Qiao to let everyone…
Haha we meet again πΉ
Hope you are doing well too!
The last time i was obsessed over an on going c-drama was with Hidden Love, so it feels almost serendipitous that my next on going C-drama obsession is with First Frostπ€π€π€
Really didn't expect to like it this much because of the cast change but they seriously did a great job IMOπ
also many of u are saying why did nobody look for her? not si qiao not xiang lang or sang yan maybe its because…
TBF Sang Yan did the best he could by even getting the police involved and WY Fan contacted Qiao to let everyone know that she was safe after her disappearance.
What more can they do? Like the cops said, her "disappearance" isn't high alert enough for them to invade her privacy specially since it's clear she left by choiceπ€·ββοΈ
people forget a lifetime of trauma is not something that goes away that easily....uh I just checked X has better…
After watching episode 25 all I could wonder is if they are watching the same drama π€·ββοΈ
It's vague at this point as to whether Qiao told Yan about the possibility that WY Fan was in Hong Kong and even if she didn't tell him it's understable since in her POV, if the friend was wrong, it could have hurt Yan moreπ₯²
spoilers ahead>>>>>>>> Just finished watching episode 9 and 10 and all I would like to say is WHAT THE HELL WAS…
The intepretation with the modern Choi Hwan is that their story hasn't begun yet perhaps since they are still strangers- but there is promise since they "zinged" (the slow-mo gaze)?
It's like how in the past, Hwari was initially "hopelessly in love" with her cousin(?) but AFTER she met Choi Hwan, she fell for him wholeheartedly for the right reasons unlike with her cousin which was just a simple crush out of familiarity.
TMAI! I'm going to miss them so much next week π₯²
At least I hope ep 27 will help people understand WFY more π₯²

Have they made a lot of changes?

But I do understand your frustration. I haven't read the novel but knowing how poulat it is, it must hurt abit to see changes like this π
If it helps, some of the changes you pointed do still happen albeit executed in a different way.
It was worth all the pain! Hopefully they'll wrap up the angsty chapters by episode 28-29(can't believe we are almost at the end of the series)π₯²
Qiao and HO were so sweet in the recent episodes. They are subtle but have their momentsπ€

Sang Yan isn't a simp- he's just transparent

How about you? Are you enjoying it?
I hope at least ep 27 cleared their misunderstanding (doubt it)π .
β οΈ-spoilers ahead in case you haven't watched ep 27 yet-β οΈ
I liked how the drama made sure to give us Qiao and Ha Oan's pov on why Sang Yan wasn't informed.
In fact it felt extra special that WY Fan got the opportunity to reach out to him first β€οΈ

I guess since it's fiction, some viewers expect a more sugar coated response than something realistic?
I'm dying to watch the episode after seeing all the comments. Saw some even blaming her BFF and Sang Yan's friend for some reason too π π π
