It's clear he's a genuine guy, and the affection he has for Miji comes from a deep, soulful love. But I canβt…
TBF Hosu has always been an awkward person and at least he admits his shortcomings quite openly (in a previous episode he said that he is a secret keeper since he doesn't know how to comfort and support people in any other way).
It's annoying but sometimes you truly cannot control or force your hidden emotions out when you are an awkward person- it's just the way you are (I'm my own Hosu and I even irritate myself for not being able to be comforting the way people expect eventhough i do careπ)
On the bright side, looks like his senior's warning finally reached Hosu so we will probably get to see an evolved more outspoken version of Hosu in the next few episodes π
Just wanted to say what an amazing experience it has been to watch both dramas. They really took Shrek's analogy on how people are like onions - with many layers- into heart.
Watching Sang Zhi's POV of her brother's life and Sang Yan's POV of his sister's life is an excellent reminder that there's more to a person than what meets the eye. You can know someone all your life but may not truly understand their hidden struggles and hidden love π₯²β₯οΈ
Watch order wise, personally I recommend watching HL first and then TFF since it's extra powerful to learn that Sang Yan isn't as goofy as he seems.π
(Honestly it doesn't matter which drama you watch first as long as the viewer is mature/patient enough to understand that the characters do not have fixed personalites + since two different studios handled the dramas there might be slight immaterial discrepancies).
I never understand why Byeon Wooseok is too overhyped in this series and everyone want him to act another series…
Since LR, KHY completed filming a drama series, participated in a variety show, and is currently working on a horror movie (not to mention she's had quite a lot of CF opportunities, successful Fan Meetings, as well as hosting opportunities during the last 12 months). Doesn't sound like she's being ignored right?π€
They probably have other roles in discussion as well but have not released the details yet.
Honestly surprised how she's coping with such a heavy schedule.π
Hi, can you guide me as to how you are watching this? Pretty please? I am such not at all tech savvy.
Oooh i see π
Is there a section after you read the rules called "general"? Since based on the steps, once you go through https://discord.gg/ZH3gqJGTR2 you need to read the rules, and then click general / fansubs. If it's difficult to find the "general" tab on the mobile app, perhaps try logging in through PC?
If all else fails, I guess on the bright side πsh's subs will be a good mental exercise π
Glad you can finally take a break from your degree! Do you have more semesters left to complete? π
I haven't watched NTA but Nami Uraraka is definitely the perfect Slice of Life drama- it's relaxing and yet so Japanese at the same timeπ€ The couple is chaotic like SolJae (or rather like Inhyuk in some ways π€£). If you have watched "My Happy Marriage", you will like this since the premise is quite similar (minus the childhood trauma).
If you are interested in the "arranged marriage" theme, Prisoner of Beauty is also good. It's a historical C-drama with enemies to lovers thrope. The MC is amazing in it too. They just completed the drama recently too so you can binge it. It's available on Netflix, Youtube, and most streaming sites.π
Oooh also if you have time, kdramas wise, I can recommend "our unwritten Seoul" as well. The drama touches heavy themes but it's really wholesome.
The last two episodes just wrenched my heart....I wasnt ready for that.
TMAi! The worst part is apparently both deaths were not supposed to happen in the novel. Wish there was some clarification as to why they had to die.
I kind of understand why SHE had to sacrifice herself (honestly it's unfair how some blame the MC for her death since she chose to π to free her husband-it was inevitable even if the Wei clan were not involved). It's too bad her father didn't live long enough to see what his foolish actions did though.
HIS death though.....he truly didn't deserve that kind of fate π₯² White orchids are going to have a whole new meaning for the next few months i guess π«
I don't understand why this drama is so overrated.I mean, it's a good drama, but not so good that I would rate…
Most love Enemies to Lovers thrope and this drama did deliver it really well objectively speaking for a C-drama.
I mean even after they officially became a couple, rather than settling down and being 100% lovey dovey, their clashing magnetic personality kept finding ways to show up but in a more evolved manner so it was more interesting? Instead of shifting the drama to "us against the world", the drama's dynamic in the latter half of the drama was focussed on "us against the world VS. consequences of our past actions".
I think it's the fact that Miji unconsciously doesn't want to hide her true self with Hosu? And Hosu brings her…
Tell me about it- sometimes it can be a little tooo relatable. It's almost like the hug you never got when you were in similar situations (albeit not as bad as theirs')π
Hi, can you guide me as to how you are watching this? Pretty please? I am such not at all tech savvy.
Heyyy! I watch via our beloved π as usual- subs are machine translated though from ep 2 onwards so it kind of feels like you are participating a Japanese Grammar exam π
The official fan subs are done by oshiroen and is available on Discode but since I don't want to create an account just for this, I'm biting the bullet with π- the drama is worth it π
There's another member's only website too but it's not easy to create an account as it's quite exclusive π
okayyy i have too much to say firstly wow secondly wowww π this is way more intriguing than i thought it would…
Ji Yun's definitely not married :)
It would be a fun twist but the plot idea is too makjang for a healing dramaπ The cafe lady in ep 7's preview might either be her former supervisor (did they ever show a flashback of the supervisor talking? If so we can match the voice!!!!)....or it could be the wife but she probably is a third party not related to the company (since the staff keep talking about Park only).
The polaroid message is interesting- was it a veiled threat or is there more to Mire's incident with Park? The flashback from ep 6 kiiiiind of sounded like Mire was depending on Park to help her on something but he later betrayed her with a cowardly moveπ
I'm dying to see how Sejin will react once he finds out about Mire's secret π He seems so understanding and since he too uprooted his life in Seoul to honor his grandfather's memory, he might understand Mire's logic....but how understanding can he be? π
Honestly eventhough KSH is the protagonist of this drama, the highlights are the FL (Seo Yei Ji) and his authistic…
I might be abit bias about the drama since it's one of my all time favourites but it's worth an attempt.
KSH's character is the protagonist of the drama but it's actually about 3 traumatized adults who never really outgrew their traumatic childhood and how they heal eachother. You feel bad for KSH's character but the other two are the best part since their stories are more unique compared to his.
(Neglected spare kid with unresolved parental issues is pretty much a kdrama trope now π).
It also has a bit of a dark romance -gothic kind of vibe to it and the support cast is also really good. The romance is not too saccharin.
KSH does cry quite abit in it too but you can make a game out of it if you want if you are feeling extra vindictiveπ
I have just started this show - had been waiting long for it to reach the half-mark, to begin. Just 2 episodes…
I think it's the fact that Miji unconsciously doesn't want to hide her true self with Hosu? And Hosu brings her out of her shell? Back in their hometown, Miji is known for being always happy no matter how bad things get but even in ep 1, when she was trying to avoid him, she still was able to let out at least some of her frustration in front of him (at least until he foolishly mentioned Mire).
So maybe it's become a habit? Besides Miji isn't really good at being quiet and serious (you'll notice it more as we see her trying to navigate through Mire's life) so she's just trying to wing it and blame whatever inconsistencies to stress.
She's part of Miji's trauma (abandoning her when Miji's career ended/ picking Mire over her/ the SFL was the one who started the whole misunderstanding between Miji and Hosu in the first place when they were kids).
They might add a scene where Miji can finally confront the SFL and put her in her place may be?
I'm still not 100% sold on Mirae x Sejin. Yet. I think the SA plot is a big wall for me, as Mirae is still clearly…
Based on Mire's flashback tonight/ polaroid message, I don't think it's a straight forward SA situation.
Mire's main concern seems to be "rumours" and "things being fake". She also doesn't really give any signs of a SA victim - I mean she seems comfortable around strangers and didn't even really freakout when Miji's ex "kidnapped" her (eventhough she didn't really like hanging out with him in general) at least until the hotel room came up.
Seeing as even Park got exiled in a way, may be the SA too is a rumour that was spread to cover something even bigger involving Mire's former supervisor's case?
What do you think? Honestly can't wait till Saturday π
I just love how this weekend's OSTs perfectly encapsulates Miji-Hosu's and Mire-Sejin's stories so perfectly. From the lyrics to the visuals - just perfectπ₯²
It's annoying but sometimes you truly cannot control or force your hidden emotions out when you are an awkward person- it's just the way you are (I'm my own Hosu and I even irritate myself for not being able to be comforting the way people expect eventhough i do careπ)

The subs in ep 1 is their version and it's soooo good. I wanted to access through the fansub's account directly but it's too much effort π
Since you have discord, perhaps try copying the link mentioned on her X or dm the subber may be?
