Whats going to happen to Ho-su? This is not a rainbow and unicorn sort of drama. I am sort of dreading it.By the…
It was definitely romantic love at least from SW's end. Her feelings aren't lustful though...it's love in it's purest form seeing as SW continiously sacrificed herself to protect Rosa. She could have easily walked away but she didn't. She even took the blame for the murder.🥲

It's romantic IMO because SW left as soon as the scum husband came to the picture. His love confession made her finally realize how she felt for Rosa .
She was also worried that she would tarnish Rosa's reputation/ future which makes sense given how anti-gay the country was during that time period. Her self esteem issues couldn't have been a reason to drive her away since that particular scene didn't involve SW in any way other than as an observer.

Also the wistful way she looks at their photograph- i can't really explain it but the love in her eyes is different from the love you see with friends/ siblings in similar situations of loss 🙈

Ep 10 messed me up…all the positivity right before the ending! I actually think the issue is not that big because…
This could be Hosu's final battle? He needs to push past the "I'm a burden" mindset. Considering how he still hasn't truly dealt with it, this might be his chance to truly accept himself without pushing his loved ones away again.

I mean at the moment Miji, Mire, Se Jin, and even the twins' mum are almost at the end of their personal battles but Hosu still has more to go. Accepting that his life will always be different is different from truly accepting himself as a whole 🥲

Please someone tell me Rosa's story because I don't understand it!!!
To keep it simple, Rosa switched identities out of love and to protect the real Rosa's son.

Basically our Rosa (SW moving forward) was always gratefult to real Rosa because she was the only person in her life that cared about her. They met as kids and became BFFs. While they were living together soon after SW left the orphanage, it became clear to SW that her feelings for Rosa weren't platonic. Given the time period and her already poor self esteem, SW decides to leave so she doesn't "tarnish" Rosa's promising future.

A few years later a now better established SW bumps into Rosa by chance only to find out that Rosa is in an abusive marriage and has no support because everybody blames her for giving birth to a mentally disabled son. In order to protect Rosa and her baby, SW takes Rosa and the baby and flees from Seoul so that Rosa's abusive husband wouldn't be able to find them.

Unfortunately a short while later the scum husband finds them and beats both SW and Rosa. In order to save SW, REAL ROSA accidentally kills her husband. Out of love SW took the blame for it and went to prison. Once she was released, the three of them were like a family but the only issue was that because SW has a criminal record nobody would hire her. At the same time, Rosa wasn't really upto shape enough to do hard labour that could earn enough for 3. THAT'S WHEN THE SWITCHING IDEA CAME TO LIFE.

Basically SW applied to jobs using Rosa's identity so she can earn enought to keep their little family alive. Things were going well for a while but unfortunately, real Rosa eventually got cancer and died. Since Rosa's son is a special needs kid and 1 person cannot look after him while earning enough to survive, the real Rosa begged SW to continue their charade and takeover her life 100% once she dies so that SW can access her royalties and other assets in order to continue to support her kid.

That's basically the gist 🙈
It's really heartbreaking honestly but the silverlining is that the real Rosa was so farsighted she made sure to make sure SW wouldn't get truly punished for taking over her identity by leaving behind an iron clad will clearly indicating that SW would inherit everything upon her death. This in turn completely ruined KMFC's lawyer's plan to change the ownership of the Restaurant since in the eyes of the law, SW/Rosa was the real owner regardless of her identity change.

Did you watch episode 9/10? If not.... potential spoiler ahead ⚠️I feel like the grandma wasn't really yelling…
Exactly- after watching ep 10, honestly can't imagine how "Rosa" managed to hold on for so long all while being alone and supporting her son 🥲

Haha i know how you feel- it felt so good to see how Hosu managed to pull an Uno Reverse on him. He's too cocky for his own good 🙊

I really want to try this but kind of scared since KS has a track record for 💔Does it have a SE? Yes or no…
Plenty of tearjerking dramas can still have a fullfilling ending TBF - For all I know they could have made it seem like the ML died but at the last moment give some kind of hint that he didn't / leave it open ended like in "Shining For One Thing" or "Monster".

Didn't bother to read the comments below since I (incorrectly) thought that you were being sincere about your question - my bad 🤷‍♀️

Doppelganger-ism is super rare but a known phenomenon so it's not thaaaat farfetched tbh. Since it's a drama they probably exaggerated it i guess 😊

I’m really loving this drama but I skipped Hosu’s whole workplace plot in the beginning . But I guess it’s…
The thing with Hosu and his senior is that they have a complicated past. Hosu was inspired to be a lawyer because of his senior- for the longest time he idolized him. Similarly the senior truly did like having Hosu as part of his team despite his lack of objectivity. So eventhough Hosu left the company, they have an emotional rift between them. Question is how will this rift affect the KFMC's case with the building site.

Hosu's senior is a big believer is "it's just business" but after ep 10, things might change- specially since it looks like they will be focussing on disabilities in ep 11 (Rosa's son and Hosu) which is the senior's weakness.

No hate, but I can’t be the only one who skips Mirae and Sejin’s scenes. 😩🥺 I just want to watch Hosu…
Sejin's like a duckling that has imprinted on Mire honestly🙈

Their love is more quiet-but still speaks volumes- filled with mutual understanding. That's why Mire didn't even need an explanation from Sejin as to how he figured out her secret.

I adore Hosu-Miji's arc but first love re-uniting kdramas are so common so Mire-Se Jin's kind of stands out at times if you give it a chance.

Totally worth giving them a chance if you ever feel like rewatching the episodes again (only if you want to of course😊)

Honestly, I like Mirae and I’m not trying to dismiss her experience but would her case be considered sexual…
It became legal the moment he took advantage of the situation to defame her and make her look like the one harrasing him. His lies also caused his wife to publicly slap Mire for no reason. Even HR didn't want to help Mire when she got assaulted by the wife because morally it looked like Mire's fault at the time to them.

So yes it is IMO (honestly even the drunk kiss attempt should be considered as sexual harrasment even if she forgave him at the time since at that moment she did nothing to entice him since putting on the seat belt is a legal requirement. Being drunk is a poor excuse.)

Honestly Mire should just sue Park, KMFC, her department, and the so called gaslighting HR team. 🫠

i would like to believe that it's temporary..and stress related but I don't see it's use to the plot....
Hosu who doesn't want to be a burden + doting step mum who would do anything for him + Miji who is just starting to take control of her life......sounds like a terrible combination honestly🙈

The sole reason why I drop or dislike most k drama is thisThey just redeem Mother character of Mi-Ji by just saying…
They didn't redeam the mother without a reason this time tbf though. The mother is finally beginning to understand that she's been holding on to her past for so long...too long.

She had her own trauma and that can't be discounted but the mum needs to learn to accept that she needs to break the generation curse before it's too late.

The mum isn't purposely being petty unlike some Kdrama mums nor did she actively try to harm Miji/ Mire out of spite or jealousy - she truly doesn't know how to love. It may seem like a pathetic excuse but it's realistic.

Omg im crying...this ep was so emotional, especially the scene between hosu and miji/mirae's mothers at the hospital...Hosu's…
The annoying thing about LCG is he knows how to fight- like you can't argue with him since he uses facts and doesn't give a damn about morals.

But I'm still hoping he'll change once he finds out how poorly Ro Sa's son was treated. Disabilities is his soft spot after all🥲
He sucks but he is a good ally to have. Plus you know deep deep down, he misses his partnership with Ho Su.

Is it just me or did u guys hate tht grandma for yelling at miji.....
Did you watch episode 9/10? If not.... potential spoiler ahead ⚠️

I feel like the grandma wasn't really yelling at Miji....Miji was a reminder of her own story.

Her rage was beyond what the Lawyer told her because you can see when he threw Hosu under the bus, Rosa subtly cut Hosu off without a fight eventhough she was mad at him too. But the moment Miji mentioned about her double life, she lost her cool

TMAI! The writer kept throwing us high into the air feeling giddy and then dragging us down non stop today...even till the end with Miji's epilogue 🙈

I don't actually have a problem with Ho-su losing his hearing, but I wish the drama was more consistent with his…
Hosu can read lips so it wasn't really that big of an issue in his pov since he was used to it but you are constantly reminded that Hosu needs attention from Miji's subtle/ not so subtle actions when ever they hangout for too long.

Yes. In hindsight they gave a hint when she looked at the photo when Miji asked about them when it was first shown. The love in her eyes was different
