I have to ask - does the ML's girlfriend's attitude improve at all after ep 2?
I get being thrifty and money conscious but she was so damn stressful to watch throughout the wedding hall scene. Even the 🔥 villain wasn't that annoying🙈
Question for those who have read the novel..Does the daughter of her father's mistress try to get between the…
Haven't read it but with what we've seen so far, she will definitely try to get inbetween them.
⚠️Potential spoiler if you haven't seen the pre release from ep 22⚠️ She's delusional enough to think that XG obsesses about her all the time. So the fact that the doctor she wanted to leech onto is now XG's boyfriend will drive her crazy (specially once she finds out that Lin only accepted her date back in 2011 because he thought XG wanted it)
Ep 13 is quite weak ngl but it's mainly because the ep 13 preview had too many important spoilery scenes so there…
Haha that's true. You need to be in the mood to appreciate the drama and their inside jokes (specially if you are not familiar with marrital struggles).🙈
I just started Cashero so can't really give an opinion. All I know is I wouldn't want his power even if you paid me (no pun intended) 🤣 It's anyway more interesting than Pro-bono (at least ep 1).
SOM is warming up to me. The story isn't new but the couple is well written and really likable. The first 4 episodes might feel boring since they spend A LOT of time setting up the FL's background but once she meets the ML it gets interesting. It's also not your typical rich ceo/ poor intern trope since the FL's father is one of the co-founders but nobody knows this except for the ML.
The SML gets more hatred than Seon U (for good reason). Their family isn't toxic except for her father (gullible + narcissistic so you can imaginr).
Since you are uncomfortable with the ML's acting, there's one thing that can help you i guess- the ML is supposed to know the FL from years back but the FL doesn't remember him. After many failed attempts he decides to hide this fact so some of the actor's wooden expressions can be considered as the character trying to hide the fact that he is being secretive (it might actually be intended that way🙈). His performance is okay i guess - just that it stands out at times since the FL shines. He gets better along the way though (so it's not alienating).
Worth giving a try with the first 7 episodes may be? After episode 1, you can speed watch ep 2-mid ep 4 since bottom line is that the SML is a prejudiced coward and her room mates are manipulative/ jealous just because the FL happens to be RICH rich. The FL is strong enough to rise above their 💩 and isn't a damsel in distress/ tries to be self sufficient in her own way. Don't speed watch the ML's flashbacks though from the initial episodes since they are important.

It's from Go Back Couple. I watched it years ago and it was quite fun/ interesting from what I recall.🤔 Essentially a burntout couple on the brink of divorce gets a second chance to re-live their college days and change their life (both are aware of both timelines). JKY was the SML in it.
It's the same with me these days- wake up- work- doom scroll-Shine on Me/ Cashero- doom scroll- Sleep. Rinse and Repeat 😅😅😅
Rong isn't worth the effort. In a way by ignoring Rong's crap and proving her innocence, GX embarrased her more.…
There's a scene in ep 22 that proves why GX is worth rooting for as a lead. She gracefully handled an accusation that was thrown at her by her father without hurting Lin.
(For your own peace of mind, don't search for it since it will make you super impatient🙈)
It’s 6 years. Right now ML is 28 and FL is 22 (as of current episodes).
She was probably around 20 and he was 26 at the time.
(NGL I'm glad they released the ages in this drama unlike with some dramas since it's so difficult to guess Lin's age based on all his accomplishments 🙈🤣)
Rong isn't worth the effort. In a way by ignoring Rong's crap and proving her innocence, GX embarrased her more.…
Gosh yes! It's not even imaginery in her case since ZX is pretty vocal about his disdain🤦♀️
She doesn't even really coddle LYS. She's straight forward which matches his vibe too so we are blessed with minimal misunderstandings 🙈 Did you see the pre-release scenes from ep 22?
Rong isn't worth the effort. In a way by ignoring Rong's crap and proving her innocence, GX embarrased her more.…
Yes!!! It was so awesome to see her dismiss Xu's "hardwork"...and even better because he KNOWS she didn't use his materials 🤭
I really like how they portray GX- it's rather refreshing for an FL. Even if she comes across as a bit clumsy ever since she met the ML, it was neatly addressed to a certain point (i.e. she's not clumsy but the harsh circumstances pushed her beyond her physical boundaries).
Rong isn't worth the effort. In a way by ignoring Rong's crap and proving her innocence, GX embarrased her more.…
They didn't show it in the drama clearly but Rong and Xu were publicly humiliated thanks to the friend's confession lunch.
Nothing hurts a petty insecure person more than being laughed at. Most already thought that Rong was being a little dramatic since forgetting to pass a message can happen by mistake. Finding out she had falsely accused GX makes her look terrible. GX dismissing the company declaring that she isn't interested in such an unethical company also bruised Rong's ego since she no longer can enjoy winning over GX. The final nail to her coffin was when GX finally put her in her place during the friend's wedding.
For people like Rong, nothing hurts more than being ignored/ not being taken seriously. It's like what Xu said, it wasn't about dating him even. She just hated the fact that GX was well off and had everythong she wanted. She couldn't rest until she could bring GX down to her level of pettiness.

True, she shouldn't be involved with them after the incident. I think the main issue here is that they were room mates so she can't really ignore them? She was able to cut ties with Xu for the most part but with the girls, it's nearly impossible to completely ignore them.
She did move back to her cousin's though right? I recall him asking her why she was staying with them for so long.
Seeing as how nobody knew that GX was working in China, I guess she did dump them all in a way. Afterall back in 2012 they did have their own version of facebook if I'm not mistaken (and emails).
I am rewatching ep 2 - why the heck did she not dial the real number to kick that Rong out of the interview. This…
Rong isn't worth the effort. In a way by ignoring Rong's crap and proving her innocence, GX embarrased her more. By stooping down to Rong's level, GX would have fallen into her trap.
(Specially infront of the people who knew that Rong was behind the gossip).
the preview of 20 / 21 episode is a frustration for me . The first thing she did showing her feeling for him ,…
It might be possible that while GX and her cousin was searching for Lin, they heard about the accident? It seems the injured guy is from Xu's team so the build and age group kind of matches Lin's..
Since his old injuries flaired even after the minor road accident in Shanghai, a rather serious skii injury would definitely freak her out.
Lashing out at Lin is unfair but I guess it's similar to how a parent would react after finding a lost kid if they were so worried sick, they are more likely to scold?🙈 Just a guess.
I know this will probably be explained in later episodes, but I'm kind of impatient...I'm trying to figure out…
The key to figure out the year is to check the car windscreen stickers. Then it's easier to follow the timeline. :)
Timeline wise: -Lin gets into an accident aroundJan 2011
-GX graduates + they meet at the office towards the latter 3-6months of 2012 (edit: she started working around Sep 2012)
-GX was transfered to Lin's department in October 2012 (the procurement payment form was signed on 28.09.2012 so ideally the issue would have come up a few days- weeks after this)
-Lin's friend's wedding is on 01.01.2013
-The Skii trip from ep 16 or so onwards is in February 2013 (Chinese new year holiday)
The main problem with him is that he knew from the beginning that :1. The FL liked him A LOT2. His neighbor was…
Basically both Rong and GX applied to the same company. In Rong’s case, she lost her mobile after a day out with the group. Since the company couldn’t reach her through her mobile, they called her dorm room. Since Rong wasn’t in the room at the time, the caller said that they would call Rong later. Since the caller said they would contact Rong again specifically, the roommate who answered the call didn’t bother to give Rong a heads up (just being naive/ not out of malice).
Around the same time, Rong found out that the company had already started the interview process and she was supposed to be on the list but never accepted the interview invitation. Since ZX has a contact in the company, he was able to find out that the company did call the Dorm Room but what he was told was that the caller asked the roommate *to tell Rong to call them back*. Since nobody informed Rong about the interview, Rong immediately jumped to the conclusion that her interview was sabotaged. In a bad case of “wrong place at the wrong time”, the call was made at a time when only GX was in the dorm (all the others had alibis since Rong was hanging out with 1/2 room mates and the other roommate had to go to her hometown on that exact that date).
Since Rong is anyway jealous of GX and GX had already scored an interview, she accused GX of sabotaging her chance to work at her dream company. Since ZX trusted her contact’s justification, he too didn’t even try to stop Rong from escalating the situation. Eventually, the room mate who was supposed to go back to her hometown confesssed that she did answer the call but exclaimed that ZX’s contact was wrong. She wasn’t asked to pass the message and the caller had explicitly confirmed that the company would contact Rong. After a long (and honestly unnecessary) investigation, Rong and the room mate was able to identify the truth and shut Rong up.
(Truth = the caller lied. They had forgotten to contact Rong again but was too afraid to admit it and instead chose to blame it on the roommate)

Their fluff is certainly cute- can't wait for more 🙈🙈🙈
Hope you enjoy it if you decide to watch it later 😊

Xu is too immature to date anybody at the moment. To make somebody as confidant as GX feel so uncomfortable is a special "gift"🫠

It's an interesting theory (I can't recall his personal backstory in the drama so it works well for me at least)
