Even though I also agree the ending is very fitting with the genre of this drama and theme of family. I was also very disappointed.

I needed more scenes between the ML and FL after they reconciled. That was not nearly enough and I'm so sad. I hope they do another drama but this love story was so special. After all they went through I wanted to see them be deliriously happy with each other as I know they go on to be.

yes! I cried so much, and I usually never cry for dramas (But I really felt their emotions in this drama, superb acting).

Agreed it was worth it, now I can peacefully focus on my life and I can still rewatch episodes next week as they get released on the regular app (so that I can watch on a bigger screen lol)

He was trying to find out the mastermind other than his uncle that was involved. And before he went on the rampage his uncle killed Peng Kun and a few other stakeholders so he was feeling backed into a corner.

I agree I also felt their interaction at the camp at the end felt a bit odd without seeing other conversations where they forgave each other and gained some new understanding as a couple again.

I agree I definitely wanted more lol. I think one reason I felt that she forgave him when she did when they were trapped is because she thought she lost him. I think she realized at that point they were both going to be shells of their selves without each other.

I think she was slowly forgiving him up to that point now that he was back in the Capital and he was slowly winning her trust back and showing her he cares about her and only her and it will remain that way for the rest of their lives. But he was too pitiful and didn't fight for her because he thought he didn't deserve to ask for her forgiveness. I get that she didn't miraculously forgive him when in my opinion he didn't grovel and ask for forgiveness enough (I heard there was a novel scene where he begged her for forgiveness and the evil person that I am - would have loved to see that lol). But I think the the show they pursued the direction that in life and death situations those kind of misgivings go away. But i needed an epilogue.

I wasn't ready to say goodbye to them and I wanted some couple scenes with them with all of the misunderstandings out of the way

I loved it, and I loved the angst, but the last few episodes felt rushed to me. And i'm sad about it.

Although I think they did well with the amount of episodes they had to work with in terms of getting lots of content in.

I had this whole plan of how I was going to watch a few episodes a day until the weekend, but I finished it all today .... if anyone has any questions or spoilers they want to know feel free to ask.

I appreciated the angst, the regret and the space they needed to take, and I appreciated their maturity.

If they had added maybe just 1-2 more episodes to flesh our episode 54-56 I think it would have been even better.

It felt very rushed, and I couldn't believe we didn't get much of a reconciliation at all in terms of actual scenes where they acted like a couple.

I am still not sure what to do with myself because of it. It makes my heart hurt on a whole nother level.
