I'm loving this drama and all, but I'm getting a bit impatient for the time jump to 2005. I know they have to build up the college stories, but I can't help it.

Do you consider 7.42 a low rating?

Yes, it was extended by one episode due to the fact that this week only one episode aired :)

That part was clearly them adding the 'taiwanese drama factor' into it. Twdramas are known for their exaggerated and silly scenes, and that was it! Tbh, I wished the wedding itself had been more normal, but I learned to love it :P

If you want to see a 'normal' wedding ceremony between these two characters, then try (if you haven't already) Itazura na kiss - Love in Tokyo :)

That one: I don't think they did? I think he was just in need of some emotional warmth I guess, because EJ was so distant due to her depression; but they never went that far. Idk why, but feels like Jae Hak and EJ's relationship was much more intimate and thus, more 'aggravating'.

I also got the feeling that Jae Haek and Eun Jin were just having a sort of 'platonic' affair, but it was never denied either, so they probably did sleep together.

It's understandable to be frustrated with Solnan and how Solhee just outsmarts everyone - but I want to believe this is all a build up and soon things will change: Solhee NEEDS to start losing some battles and that's when it will get interesting :)

I also hope for more Solnan/CP because we all know she's bound to find out her origins sooner or later and then we might enter fauxcest zone and the ship might become awkward.

I think, in general, the fandom likes them :) I personally love them as well.

I think he started to understand her very early on, even though they always have those misunderstandings and all, which are resolved pretty quickly.

He defended her position and reputation during the scandal; sure, we might ask 'why this girl', but they did get entangled in the scandal and the consequent contract marriage because perhaps they have this magnet towards each other. And tbh, they fit each other quite well (what, am I biased? Probably. I do love them very much :D). I get you, I do - but imo, their dynamic ends up feeling rather natural for a 'forced' relationship.

I guess Jan-di is there because this article refers to kdramas, but Makino was nothing like that. At all.

I feel that BOF's biggest flaw is really how they portrayed and missed the point of that character. And the casting for Jan-di was a also a big miss, which didn't help the already awful character writing.

Twdramas aren't like this normally. Mainland China dramas are usually the ones that have the most confusing schedules. You basically never know when it's going to air for sure until it starts airing.

I'm guessing there might a delay with this drama in particular. We'll have to wait and see.

I have no idea :( but it surely didn't air last week. A comment on Viki confirming it:

"It has nothing to do with Viki. It's that the TV channel in Taiwan which was supposed to air it on 8 Dec didn't air it - period. There's zero episode of this series for anyone, anywhere on earth to watch." (terata1)

Yes. There's nothing wrong or 'inapropriate' about any of the set ups (well, of course if there isn't anything ilegal about it, you know what I mean), so why not have tons of different dramas, that aproach all types of relationships. Because older man-younger women relationships ARE very common and normal in our society.

It's all about people's tastes. Some fans don't like it, others do; it's very subjective in the end.

I'm guessing Noona Romances being so popular now, it's hard to accept something different and, well, totally opposite? Also, maybe some people associate 'Oppa Romance' with those older men who harass and go after younger girls just to show their power towards them (their power in society, etc etc) - plus there's also the fact that many people don't accept if the older man isn't 'pretty' - I guess most Noona Romances have pretty actresses paired up with younger hot actors, and that's, by our society's standards, easier to accept.

And ALSO maybe most of the people who watch the dramas, like to watch older women and younger men in order to fullfil their fantasies, because fiction is after all, a way to go go after something that satisfies people's desires/wishes.

Personally, I don't like Noona Romances that much, but I don't go around bashing them. It's up to people's judgment I guess.

Please guys, lets vote for Jo Hyun Jae and Seo Hyun Jin to win the Best Couple Award at the 2013 MBC Drama Awards! If it's like on previous years, only one couple wins so lets try and have a shot at this :D

I just realized I haven't seen that many kdramas from this year :o Still mananged to vote on a few.

Oh and btw, why is Moon Chae Won on the Waste of Talent category? Her character and performance on Good Doctor were nice (and she wasn't underused or anything) and the drama itself was good.

I don't know if you've seen any of his dramas or movies yet, but he is one of the best actors in Korea. Very charismatic and talented - I think you might change your opinion because looks aren't everything after all :)
