If that’s really how their story ends, that’s truly unfortunate. It makes me wonder where the circulating information comes from, because I’ve seen it quite often.

I only managed to read a few chapters of the novel, but some people said Su Muyu thought she had died, when in fact, she didn’t. Her father, Su Zhe, kept her hidden to protect her. I think i saw the scene you mentioned in the MV. When Muyu and Changhe were riding horses, they passed by a carriage with a woman inside, but her face wasn’t visible. I think that was her.

I’ve watched the donghua and read some of the early chapters of the novel. So far, this adaptation closely follows both, so there’s nothing wrong with what the director did. Let’s be honest, even if the director took a different route, you’d still talk trash about it. Your intentions are obvious.

Do you even watch the episodes? If you want to be taken seriously, at least get your facts right. The drama has already shown Su Muyu killing people like the nameless ones in the Wailing Abyss and Mu Yinzhen. Still, I’ve got to hand it to you for commenting multiple times a day like it’s a full-time job. That’s real dedication.

Among all the female characters shown so far, I like her the most.
