Hats off to the director, scripwriter, actors and all production staff involved in the creation of this masterpiece. Definitely one of my favourite C-dramas. In fact, I miss them already.

It’s not like JH had stopped loving XS after the plan to sell TY was revealed. I believe she still loves him, that’s why it’s more difficult to forgive and forget because we often put higher expectations on someone we love compared to others. She felt extremely betrayed and disappointed. In contrast, she could forgive everyone else more easily. Suppose that JH reconciled with XS after he canceled the acquisition, it’s because she sees him realizing his mistake, deeply regretting and is willing to fix it by returning what she cherishes the most (TY) at the cost of his career, something that he valued the most before. Actually, she kissed him first. She was drunk, I know. Is it justified for a drunk person (I’m not talking about gender) to kiss another person? Let's put it another way, is it justified for a drunk person to hurt another person? Take YJ's dad for example. That kiss from FL is actually what made ML think about her a lot and develop feelings for her. I’m not justifying either of them, it's just that you seem kind of biased for only emphasizing ML faults. FL is not perfect as well, in an earlier episode, she conspired with an influencer to trick her childhood classmate/rival and caused her to lost her job.

XS made one major mistake to delay informing JH about the acquisition plan yes, but he also helped JH many times during her struggles in rebuilding TY. In my opinion, JH is not perfect as well. Remember in the first episode, she intentionally caused XZY to lose her job in Aneda? Of course, I'm not saying that JH must accept him back, it’s up to the writer and the director. But in my opinion, someone like XS is still deserving a second chance.

But as we can see, XS underestimated his feelings for JH. The separation is killing him inside 🤣 I know that happiness is not all about having a partner. But she seemed happy during their relationship (aside from XS's decision to sell TY). If XS is willing to change, and from what I see, he has the potential to become a dedicated lover, why not? Boss passed the rainbow bridge and won't return. With XS adopting the same dog breed as Boss, I see it as him trying to find comfort while at the same time honoring and cherishing the memories of Boss.
