YQ finally got his crown princess at end of ep 22 but still has that same one note (vague) expression since the start of series 😂

It is generally a cold market in China at the moment, but I’d like to think a success of a series goes beyond the numbers. The strength of KMLM is in the two leads. They are stellar and a joy to watch.

Hit or not, at least LXY has been widely praised for his acting in KMLM. Hopefully he continues to receive roles that are worthy of his talent.

If MJH commits even one murder maliciously he is considered a fallen hero and we as a viewer cannot sympathise with him.

My two, and only two, reasons I stayed on to watch ALP.

Oh I see, I didn’t realise they all watched the horse. I thought the actual horse was for the viewer’s benefit to help us see what the soldiers are visualising as his spirit ie they think he is dead. DOH! in that case it really is random 🤷‍♀️

LOL - CG guy probably had to sit on this one a bit not a CGI heavy drama. I interpreted horse as a ‘spiritual’ sending off of MJH and horse is not literally there like a real apparition. Yeah a bit random.

Netflix Australia too on Saturday and already on Viki. I watch on viki for the subtitles and Netflix for sharper picture quality and Youku as it airs….so three times.

Never can get my head around why c-ent is so obsessed with SE or OE - suckers for pain. Hoping for a HE, our main CP deserve it.

Some of us who are still really enjoying the drama have noted that the tone and the two lead characters lost their darkness too soon, just even maybe an episode or two longer with the darker vibe may have helped the transition. I also wanted to see a bit more seduction after the bath scene. But these issues haven’t been a deal breaker for me. I’m looking forward to the angst in the final arc of the story.

For the Double I think it was partly to appease/please viewers…there have been several dramas that has had backlash due to the ending being SE or OE.

Totally agree about the Double. They tried to fix it with the epilogue but I haven’t watched that as I had already come to terms with the OE.

I love that ML was on the horse making that moment even more impactful and in your face for LM but it does look weird…maybe there are some shots in between in the actual scene but not in the trailer.

Maybe a bitter sweet? But bitter sweet always feels like a consolation prize.

MJH on high alert looking out for villagers giving ML the eye, he was itching to tell everyone they’re a married couple. LXY does comedy well, his comedic timing in In Blossom was brilliant.
