Watched it very randomly but surprisingly fun! For some reason though, on some angles, I see the leads having similarity to True Beauty's leads like both Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young. Anyway, just something random lol
I’m just done watching the first episode, it’s so funny and so goooood already. I can’t wait to watch more.…
I first saw Zhou Ye in Love Me Love My Voice. Her character there is different - sweet and endearing, but yeah the show itself is very easy to watch. Maybe try that one while waiting for this one!
YQL antics give me secondhand embarrassment lmao I love her! Those were fun first 4 episodes with some fast forward bits. The office stuff is pretty skippable at this point and I really just want at least one of them to figure out the other’s identity already.
Someone spoil me does it happen soon? Who finds out first?
So JinZhao is BLH, who exchanged life to be reborn for being together with Qi ? Shouldn't he be dead immediately…
The BLH who made the wish in the Dragon Pool was from the future about 3 years (which is now almost in the present time). He traveled back to 3 years ago and made that wish (that was when JZ was created). (from ep 28 preview)
Maybe he did cease to exist after JZ was created (but it's the future BLH who made the wish and should vanish, not the BLH that we're seeing now). But yeah, the way they tell the story at the moment is pretty confusing. Even my answer is confusing lmao
Question: who/what is Lord Ming? At one point, I thought it was just a made up thing so the Qiyuan Sect can collect those orbs. Then I also thought Kun (the big fish lol) is Lord Ming. I'm a little bit confused at who it really is they're fighting against/what they're prepping Qi for. Zhu Yu?
These two currently feel like two strangers forced to act cute together Ep 2 Like they are supposed to be people…
That was also my main complaint in the beginning . I felt there was a big skip and I couldn't really get behind the idea that they had already 3 years of bond together. BUT it honestly got better around ep 6. After that, I could feel their history together through every interaction. Now I'm just fully invested and rooting for them.
DoHee will always reincarnate and with GuWon always having his memories intact, they will never start from scratch. He'll have to wait every time but you can bet they will be spending every lifetime together after that.
Not to mention there's the cross tattoo which can always unlock DoHee's past lives memories. Or I think even GuWon can give her memories back. Regardless, there's no tragic reason to keep them apart anymore.
And I think that's more amazing than having both immortals (boring) or both humans (limited). It's actually the happiest of the happiest endings. They'll always have something different of the same thing in every lifetime. They have an unlimited version of something limited so they will always cherish their time with each other.
After thinking over, I wish GuWon gave the DoHee the choice instead of unilaterally deciding for the two of them that they can't spend Christmas together re: break up.
I know GuWon thinks he makes Do Hee miserable, but they literally had this talk just 2 episodes ago. That she was better miserable with him than without.
Even if he was the cause of her misery, considering that she didn't say anything even while knowing the truth, didn't that hint that she was willing to bear it and eventually work through it together with him?
*sigh* I don't know if I can count it as noble idiocy, but I really wish GuWon didn't decide for the two of them. Especially when it's DoHee who's actually hurting and trying to bear it. He's in pain because of the pain he has caused her. But if he runs away first, in my eyes he just becomes a coward. He does exactly what DoHee fears the most: being left behind by the people she loves.
It's a different story if DoHee actually told him to leave. But he didn't even give her that choice.
Thoughts so far (just finished ep 18): I love how their relationship was slowly built and torn and then rebuilt again. Usually I would get frustrated when couples fight but here you can totally see where they're coming from and all I can do is root for them to resolve their issue. I don't like angst but here I love it when they say they hate each other and then proceeds to do just about the opposite. I guess the execution was really just done right.
Reading the comments below, it seems I have to prepare my heart because apparently things are about to get even more heavy in the second half.
Also before this I had no idea who Jing Tian was, but man she is soooo beautiful.
