Exactly. People are more forgiving of him because they happened to meet again and they can have a second chance. But what if they actually never did meet again? Then their story would have been over just because Jin Zhao didn't trust and give Mumu the ability to decide for herself. It feels fine for others to excuse his previous behavior now that the consequence doesn't seem too bad. But imagine them not ending up together because of what he did. Communication really is key and yeah I still don't like this noble idiocy trope. Nothing noble about it at all

True I actually find similarities with Sang Yan and Mumu more, especially in their capacity to love their significant other. Of course Yifan and JinZhao loves Sang Yan and Mumu, but as you mentioned because of their life experiences, they couldn't express themselves fully if not for the consistent show of love and effort from Sang Yan and Mumu. Sang Yan and Mumu's love healed the other two

Absolutely! Like the world is big enough for everyone I don't understand why some people are so focused on hating when they can really just stay on their lane and everyone can have peace. My fave thing about Esther is her resilience and mindset. With all the smear campaign against her towards the later half of the year, she stayed quiet, not bothering with all the provocation and rage bait and she just silently carried on with her work. Some of these haters can learn a thing or two from her. If it's none of your business, really just stay out of it
