It depends on which episode are you at. The first few episodes were really confusing, but it did get better (up to ep 10 at least)

You can say he's both child and adult considering he has no memories. He can be so mature with his insights and immature with his actions. If you haven't watched yet, the latest 2 episodes are actually better than the last last 2. But yeah, he's pretty much immortal with his healing abilities so wasn't really expecting any death yet at ep 10 lol and the preview for ep 11-12 is fire so there's that too

I was having issues with the ML's trust issues as well! Like fgs that was from a complete stranger. The consolation is his misunderstanding practically just lasts half an ep, so fine I'll forgive the drama for that

First 2 episodes is quite confusing tbh BUT if you have the patience, things will slowly start making sense start ep 3. I actually enjoyed ep 3-6. There's fighting, war and politics, but the romance seems to be the center of the story, so if you're looking for that, you'll enjoy it (up to the recent episodes at least). There's some weird editing sometimes (not really very often), but the cut is usually explained afterwards. Not the best way but show is still enjoyable atm. Hope it has a good ending cause there are so many mentions of dying together (even the villain!)

Fast forward button is your friend! Honestly wouldn't miss much

Could have been way better ;( my biggest annoyance with the show is the script. A lot of times the characters are describing what just happened or what is exactly about to happen in the next scene *as if* it wasn't already freaking obvious. Also the villains are either quite dumb (HRF!) or all talk (XJF!) and the main characters were too op there wasn't really any moment I feared for them. Zero tension at all. The editing is also so weird with the sudden fade to black and cut to random completely unrelated scene (and then flashback to explain the unrelated scene - honestly too many flashbacks to explain what happened). Also the villains going down was too anticlimactic and it happened early enough that the last 3 episodes literally felt like fillers. Alas, it's probably my fault for expecting too much from the way this drama had been initially hyped. I finished it though so there's still that. But I wouldn't rewatch. If you're looking for romance, you'll at least enjoy this. If you're looking for revenge type story, probably not this one.

PSA: this is not a romance drama! Look elsewhere if that's what you're expecting

But anyone who loves a good thriller and an antihero main character is in for a good ride

Rest assured there's not an ounce of actual romance in this drama (if they followed the webtoon)

In the beginning, Wei Shao expelled Xiao Qiao out of Xindu. And now, he wouldn't even let her out of his sight. Even though Wei Shao is so painfully dense, still we've come a long way! Xiao Qiao hang in there haha

I think their earlier story is part of the scenes that got cut. Considering ep 10 ending, maybe same with novel that Lao Yan is too friendly with other girls or something or I dunno

Latter part of ep 9 and Ep 10 was so fun. The bit with the comic is funny. Wei Zhi looks so innocent during their conversations and yet she’s actually not lmao their flirting and playful skinship is on another level considering they’re not even together yet. Suffice to say, enjoying this drama!

Not at all. End of ep 9 and the whole of ep 10 was so fun. Their open flirting and skinship are so natural I was just giggling my way through ep 10. The beginning part of ep 9 was slow though
