I didn't even notice it was already 5:30am when I was at the half mark of ep 24. The last 3 episodes were crazy. I liked everything except for the last 3 minutes.

I loved everything except literally the last 3 minutes lol even though some people had correctly guessed the twist already, episode 22 still blew my mind. I also liked how almost everything the drama had actively made us question, they had answered to the very last detail, except for the freaking new questions they had to ask at the last minute.

There were flaws sure (the editing for 18 and 19 was really weird to me) but the last 3 episodes were crazy good!

They just had to add that freaking last 3 minutes 😭 I refuse to believe A'Yun wasn't able to come back. After everything they had to go through, that just simply couldn't happen. I'm glad at least that I can decide the ending since they didn't show any definite scene that word confirm a BE. In my head, it's a HE! No one can say otherwise!

I will believe this!

Flaws and all, I love this drama to bits.

7 episodes remain and I know there will be deaths.

Honestly I'm ready for the pain, for the heartache, for whatever they throw at us. BUT I wish, I hope, I need for the ending to be satisfying.

To whoever is in charged, please let the ending be satisfying so I can rewatch this beautiful drama again and again!

GZY asked questions even in the beginning, too. The one I can remember is when the mei token was found in the housekeeper's room, he told JF why would someone bring something so dangerous. He has always been smart. It's just that at the same time he was immature and always had this childish fights with GSJ so his intellect was not highlighted because viewers (including me) found him frustrating. But now that he started maturing little by little, his intellect is finally showing through.

Or maybe because Ziyi is ranked higher so YQ who is a chi probably is not important to her. Assassins dying probably a normal thing for Wufeng. ZNY maybe could have known because she was also a chi?

After last night's discussion, I started to hope as well. 😭 The way she died was cruel. I hope YWS gives them hell.

But it was nice to see the three princes chilling and hanging out together.

I still cannot get over the antidote reveal scene. Easily my favorite part so far! YWS's desperation. GZY's relief. Her wail. His smile.

GZY had always worn his heart on his sleeve but he lied to gamble for the truth. YWS had always meant to hide her feelings but she ended up revealing her heart which could have never been described in words.

And now that the fortnight flies' secret is revealed, the road to a HE is now slightly more tangible for this two.

And I don't think either will die. Although YWS's full circle may be to overcome the taboo for spies (allow herself to love and letting that love be her weakness), nothing bad will happen to her because GZY's full circle will be finally having someone to protect and having the ability to protect that person.

Actually wait I changed my mind. You're right. It could be possible because I remember HYS telling YWS she cannot die because she still has YQ. That as long as she has someone she loves, [something something]. Not sure if I'm remembering that scene correctly, the one where YWS said if she were to die, she wanted to decide how to. But yes, I can now imagine the possibility of YQ being alive. It would explain why elder Yue visited ZNY too! Because like you said, YQ didn't die in Gong residence so he may have wanted info about her.

And I know you don't watch trailers, but there was a scene involving YQ that has not been shown yet. I thought it was a flashback, but it could be a present scene. Anyway, let's see!

I think she's dead. On one of the scenes that HYS was emphasizing about how you will end up taking your life if you're exposed, they were looking over a dead body, which I assume was YQ.

But it would only make sense if the fortnight flies scene with her sister happened first and was related to another mission, not to Gong's. Probably that scene was just to highlight the effect of the fortnight flies as that flashback was during the 2nd trial.

The earlier convo between HYS and YWS about how there had been no one who made it out alive of Gong's residence, except for YQ makes me think while she did return, it was already as a dead body.

Yeah, need to rewatch if there was any scene with YWS and Elder Yue where the necklace was visible.

But re truth potion, I think it is real to some extent and a variation of it might be what YWS was trained to.

They didn't use it on LWJ and SGQ because don't think they know about it earlier. GSJ asked GYZ about the possibility of such thing and YZ said if it was made by Elder Yue, it must be legit.
