Possibly, but given what's shown so far, even though YWS and SGQ are "enemies", I don't think they would actually betray each other in such a simple way.

Man, I had wanted to know so bad why YWS gave up the medical record. Because if giving it up means ZY's position will be harmed, that technically means she is giving up on her mission as well. And I don't think she will ever do that. Thank goodness there seems to be an episode every day!

EDIT: Maybe there's something else that was withheld from her conversation with LWJ? Because she initially said you would do anything for GZY right? But then after revealing what it was, nothing. So there must have been something she wanted YWS to do, right??

I thought that too and got frustrated at first. But when the trial keepers explained later, he did complete the trials by himself, with no help. YWS or no YWS, the trial keepers were going to save him after he got the box if he couldn't make it out alive. Getting the box was the finish line as the most difficult part is getting to it.

Actually you can rule GSJ out as why would he kill them/have them killed and stay out of the residence to not be the next SW? So I don't think it can ever be him.

This is probably the most likely theory as he did react weirdly when GZS said they were just myth/legends that the elders made up to scare them. I also cannot see him as enemy, but I did think he could be link to Wufeng but only because of his connection with Prince Yue and the latter being connected to YWS's sister.

This is just how I see it, but GZY is drawn to "weak" things. If you remember the conversation he had with his older brother about how he doesn't have anyone he wants to protect because even his family doesn't need his protection/he is weak, his brother told him you can protect someone, like the girl he likes. So that's why he is unconsciously drawn to things that he can protect. Remember in the beginning how he seemed to be the only one who cared about the brides and he went out of his way to save them. Because he thought they needed his protection.

So now the question how did he fall for YWS? From the very beginning, YWS had deliberately portrayed herself as weak/needing protection and not to mention she is pretty. From her first supposed attempt at escape to the second, she set up everything so that GZY would view her as someone helpless and needed his protection. Not to mention about the story/struggles she sprinkled during that initial "bait GZY" phase. So pretty much you can say GZY liked her at first because YWS had deliberately targeted him to like her (she was pretty and needed his protection).

For YWS though, even though she still constantly lies to him about actual details, after the identity verification (when she first witnessed how truly sincere and kind GZY is to the point that she was surprised and didn't know how to react - like in the defending her even though her identity wasn't confirmed scene & the fox tail ornament scene where she was first moved), she has been actually starting to be truthful to him emotionally, starting with sharing about her sister (which was true), with allowing herself to feel and long for what it's like to live the life she wanted that she had talked about with her sister (even if it was just for a moment, but she teared up and that was because she felt GZY's sincerity), with sharing about her experiences and her mother (mother might not be true, but the experiences are, and so is the mother figure actually, and her feelings as to this story are also true).

So GZY may have liked her at first because YWS arranged for it to be that way. But now, GZY is slowly getting to know her as her, so even if she's slowly revealing that she is actually strong and maybe someone who can protect him, he still thinks she needs his protection anyway because she has now become his precious A'Yun.

Indeed good theory. I just don't get the spy vibes from him, but that may be the exact reason he could be. I don't think most people are thinking of him as anonymous.

I also think she will end up protecting him with her life. But I'm also betting on GZY's feelings. That no matter what happens, he wouldn't actually let anything happen to her. It's all wishful thinking but it would be a nice full circle if YWS does end up choosing how to die (but then not dying) because GZY will finally be able to protect the girl he loves as well (just like how his brother said before).

She is slowly falling for him. If you go back to when he stood up for her during the identity verification even before her identify was cleared, she looked genuinely surprised. Plus when she received the medicine and fox tail ornament as pillow. These little gestures may go unnoticed to others, but not to her. For me that's when it started for YWS. That's why GZY easily triggers YWS's memory of her sister. Because her sister loved her, and every time she receives GZY's affection, she can feel they're real and she is reminded of her sister. Every time she gets teary eyed, they're real tears. And it only happens around GZY.

Of course I'm not saying it'll be easy. She'll probably resist the stronger her feelings get. But I think GZY's sincerity will be stronger than her resistance 🙂

Yes, the camera angle that slowly revealed her and even when she was shown she still looked mysterious. And I thought her going directly to GSJ and helping them was a direct cover up which would exclude her from SJ's lists of suspects.
