i watched up to ep 24! Pretty sure it was the FL who saved him (according to drama logic and from some teaser pics I saw floating around) but as of ep 24, they have yet to even mention or say anything else about the butterfly mark. I guess we'll find out sometime in the last 12 episodes lol. (if you want, I can PM you once I get to the ep where they reveal everything)

I think the fact that FL got angry at him after the party made him realize how important her presence in his life was and he really began to realize his feelings for her so he's becoming more desperate. Not that that's really an excuse but it's cute how much he tries just to get closer to her (just my opinion!).
