Hi, can you guide me as to how you are watching this? Pretty please? I am such not at all tech savvy.
Thank you so much for replying, sweetheart! I got caught up doing chores. Apologies! π What you said is so relatable. I am on discord, but I have no frigging clue on how to navigate it. All I can do is find updates of oshiroenmahi which lead me to his/her Twitter page. A long time ago, this subber had a very easy to navigate website. Something untoward must have happened. There exist extremely entitled viewers who believe that fansubbers owe them totally forgetting that these are passion projects. π€¦ββοΈ
Apologies! You mentioned in an earlier comment about being Arab. I looked it up. It's interesting how any person can have multiple sources of identity. Certainly quite intriguing. :) Also, thank you! β€
who is asking her all thes questions? ππhttps://x.com/oshiroenmahi/status/1930132209148801473?t=LloFA_3xLNZz7YGIY-U6lA&s=19
Fansubbers are amazing... π― To be able to not just translate, time them, amongst scores of other technicalities... All the while subbing being a passion project... Damn! And if oshiroenmahi is around, thanks a ton!
Hello! I swear I am not trying to be rude... But aren't Egyptians and Moroccans North Africans? P.S.: Thank you for all the work you do. For non-tech savvy people like me, your updates and little tidbits about shows helps us to get a better idea about them before they ended up on the editor's floor.
i hate the way men tend to ruin everything. I wish I could separate the art from the artist. However, I believe…
Your post is so thought provoking. One of my most favourite dramas of time, irrespective of geographical origin, the one I sought out every time I was going through a hard time got devastatingly ruined for me once the ML's conduct of his personal life got exposed. That drama went from being a massive source of comfort to a drama I couldn't bring myself to rewatch. I keep telling myself to separate the art from the artist, but I have not been able to do so till now. Even though predators should not exist in the first place, yet I really hope they get identified and punished early on in life before they make it big.
The drama was so complete. I also loved the verse at the end referring to usIt had sooo many details so I understand…
I so concur with you about Da Qiao. Tbh, I found her actions in line with her disposition. Since the very beginning, her top priority had always been Bi Zhi's well being. Hence, the hate she received took me by surprise. She had never been ambitious and had always wished for a quiet life with him and I can totally sympathize with her wish to keep him safe, especially given how heavily pregnant she was. Was she cowardly and selfish? Yes. But does that make her evil? Absolutely not.
WORD!! They took an intelligent, physically strong, loving character from the book and turned him into a stupid…
He reminded me of VICKY from Small Wonder, only his software seemed to be a thousand times worse. At least, VICKY was programmed to be smart, one of her only flaws being taking human interactions at face value which is understandable given that she is a humanoid robot. But what excuse could Bi Zhi possibly have? The makers and the actor had such a lovely character to work with... What's ironic that Wei Xiao had hardly any screentime or dialogue but I seem to know and understand him so much more than Bi Zhi!
Hello! Nice to see you here! Did you rewatch LR this year?
Ooh. Interesting, any recommendations...? I have re-watched LR quite a few times now. It has become my comfort drama. I just watch my favourite scenes from time to time. Have been swamped with chores lately. π I watched WBL, Dominion and Devotion, 5 Eagle Brothers, and Malcolm in the Middle, LMAO. I am planning to check out a few more. π
The circle of life: When Wei Shao was put in the same situation as Manman's grandfather and had to make a decision.…
I absolutely loved that scene. I was keeping my fingers crossed that he'd proceed to Panyi and had a feeling he'd if he was indeed worth his salt. I heaved a sigh of relief when he did!
