Landed up on this page out of sheer curiosity wondering how in the world this passed censorship. (I know, I know! It's because this show is aired outside of mainland China.) Then, discovered that it stars actors who I really like. Love both the leads, especially Zi Yu who I have admired right from his debut in My Lady General. 😊

Despite The Dawn to the Night being a Walmart knockoff version of TTEOTM which I loved, I am enjoying the story. The cast and crew have done a good job.

I haven't started OUS yet. Tbh, I don't find ML the most convincing as an actor. I mean he is certainly not bad, and far more decent than many of his peers but I don't know... Somehow, I have never warmed upto his acting.

Whenever I click on the update on Discord, it leads to her Twitter, and all I can access are the rules of using her work on discord. There are no links mentioned. I am sure I am doing something wrong, but I am yet to put my finger on it. 🙈 Tech-challenged at its finest. 🤦‍♀️ I like fansubs the best as well. The care that goes into making accessible the nuances makes watching the show a more fulfilling process. But thanks anyways. I had been in over my head with the requirements of my degree these days. Finally, I am done. 😁 Tbh, LR is special to me also because it came to my rescue while I was going through a really rough patch personally. To top it off, I needed to be able to concentrate on my degree, rather than wallow in my personal woes and that's when LR stepped in.
I am always up for a slice of life romance, this one seems to be a bit reminiscent of Nagatan to Aoto. I loved NTA to bits.

There exist extremely entitled viewers who believe that fansubbers owe them totally forgetting that these are passion projects. 🤦‍♀️
