You You's godmother's arc was a letdown. I had always been a teeny bit suspicious of her, given how she conveniently appeared 5 years ago, yet, the way the show went about to prove her wrongdoing and guilt was too contrived for my taste.

Even though I feel that the drama script improves the novel a whole lot more (as per the comments made by the novel readers), yet, I wish they had retained this aspect about Bi Zhi because in the drama he is quite the passive character.
