Anybody else not feeling main villain? He looks like a hard thinker grandpa, instead of just being eviI for evilโs…
agree he really is not a menacing villain but I like that he isn't over-the-top. I feel the point is that he is an ordinary man with power in that time.....he isn't theatrical but realistic.
it's not just one man who is a villain but the whole system in place that allows people like that to be in power. I think that is the point.....hansu wanted to target specific men for his selfish revenge at first but that doesn't really solve the issue. it can't be about targeting a few men, and the focus is put more on the people he helps now instead of the villains he takes down
totally get yeonjoo for hesitating on telling about her real identity and wanting to continue the illusion of living as sowon for as long as she can ๐คทโโ๏ธ hell I'd do it too if I could have a happy freer life for some time
it's not like she pursued hansu romantically he was pretty much the one always pursuing her in that sense while she was hesitating with her reaction to it all and yeah she did develop feelings for him but I think it's understandable she wasn't prepared for that and didn't want to let it go yet
w/e gaslight gatekeep girlboss I'll defend her ๐
seeing people act like watchers who comment on the writing/story are crazy and asking for too much is lowkey depressing...
there is a difference between "we're not expecting perfection from this let's just enjoy some quality fluff" and "who cares if it's utter crap guys just enjoy the fanservice"
y'all don't need to lick gmmtv's boots so hard I promise ๐ญ
enjoy this all you want but it's perfectly reasonable for others to call it what it is: a cash grab with basically zero effort put in. nobody knows better than gmmtv that CP marketing is all you need to get those views
I know a lot of this is due to the late edits and not at all the fault of the production team (and certainly not…
agree 100%. she felt like a rounded character with her own POV at the beginning (this is why the first 10 episodes were amazing!) but then she slowly faded more and more. I gave up on her being anything more than an accessory in TTJ's story many episodes ago
I'm so tired of dramas doing this to their female characters ๐ช
I think what she did mattered. At least he got to know what it feels like to be loved, protected and trusted.…
I see your point.......it is a tricky narrative to pull off. it still makes LSS merely a puppet in a grand plan in a story about TTJs agency. what about LSS's choices??
so since the DG has been controlling things the whole time then nothing LSS did even mattered?? it's one of those things where it's all pre-written anyway and it's just fate playing out
usually not a fan of this kind of plotline cuz it just undermines all the characters actions in the story. they are just puppets. so when you rewatch the drama you just know none of the choices they are making even affect anything
can someone tell me is this the same as the novel or did they add this plotline in the drama?
when I made a joke before about "why even have a female lead here if this is just the TTJ show" the show creators must have took me seriously. are they just cutting LSS scenes entirely now? ๐
there are many people commenting here so naturally the same comments will come up more than once. just like you…
just answering your question "how many times can you complain about xyz" and the answer is as many times as there are people in this comment section. you ofc are free to express your opinion just as others are ๐
Seriously. How many times can you scold the main character and complain about the editing of the latest episodes?…
there are many people commenting here so naturally the same comments will come up more than once. just like you will see several "I love LYX!!!" comments it is only fair that you might see some of the same criticisms or frustrations with the show. it's a discussion board after all
They did her dirty in this version.I have little hope it will get better.I love angst normally but i need a little…
I love angst but what's so FUN about angsty toxic enemies lovers relationships in fiction is the push and pull I backstab you, you backstab me, I hurt you, you hurt me, I go crazy for love, you go crazy for love
but when it is not balanced it is hard to invest in the romance, it just gets frustrating
honestly the writers have completely set up LSS to be hated on/be the audience's punching bag and I've reached a point where I'm just annoyed about it. (ofc some people would hate her no matter what but the writers have made it really easy for them)
I wish they would just drop the rest of the episodes so I can quench my curiosity and see how this ends. the neverending cycle of the same frustrations playing out over and over again in their relationship is getting tiring. (and cherry on top of the pie is that ybc is back again ofc).
please just drop the remaining eps and put me out of this misery ๐ญ
