I am not that into it. Tbh I don't see any chemistry at all.How I see it GZY has a crush on her. The type of puppy…
"puppy first love" that is a good way of putting it. i would agree on YWS but others seem to feel she has very strong feelings for him already. the tears when she stands in front of him threw me off a bit I just wish we got some more scenes of her alone thinking about her position.
I had lost my original comment, but this is what I wrote as of episode 8 as to YWS's development with GZY:At first,…
great point about the sister flashbacks! i personally don't feel her perspective has been strong enough but i am excited to see how they show it going forward
I see the internal conflict in her in every scene they put the fuzzy glow filter on him. Also, that time when…
I mean some fuzzy filter and that one scene you speak of still doesn't tell me the degree of her feeling. if you feel certain of it that is great but i'm just interested in everyone's interpretations
i'm curious for all here: are you sold on the main ml/fl romance??
I think they are sweet but i'm mad they seemed to skip over the "getting feelings" part too fast. especially for YWS i feel I don't understand the extent of feelings she has. I wish they showed more scenes of her having an internal conflict over starting to have emotions. idk........am i supposed feel that she is in love with him at this point since the porridge scene? only just starting feelings???? just feels bad for him?
Every time I see ZYG with that dumb himbo expression on his face, I get annoyed. But I think I've found enough…
love these points!! i think what is interesting (and maybe lacking in some believability) is how did he get this way and come to have these beliefs growing in the same environment as the others and especially being so isolated?? even goodhearted ppl are usually a product of their environments. I do feel he is a little too perfect naturally like he naturally hatched from an egg that way π it would be cool to see him struggle with those beliefs vs. his environment and see him fight that conflict some more
wondering about folx who keep saying the drama is dragging - are we watching the same drama?
it's very OK for people watching the same drama to have different feelings about it. I don't feel anyone here has been blindly hating just giving honest thoughts and critiques but it is still out of an investment for the show! :)
yeahhhhhh problem is many things have been circling around in conversations in this show but when i think about…
yes I would prefer for less birth secrets and family history blah blah more plotting and backstabbing. idk i kinda feel like the writer gave YWS a too boring mission cuz we haven't seen her do anything much π
I agree. I'm loving this show but the two week mark throws the vibe off a bit for me. Especially the main romance,…
I agree with you here......I would be believe it for GZY due to his innocence but for YWS her feelings haven't been developed so well, they haven't let us into her side very much aside from that porridge scene
This drama is only 24 episodes but the pacing is kinda of slow. IDK how to explain it it's mostly scheme talking…
yeahhhhhh problem is many things have been circling around in conversations in this show but when i think about what has actually happened.....
a) GZY became sword wielder and complete 1st trial b) YWS successfully gets chosen as a bride and she works on the map, she hasn't made a ton of progress but figures out that back hill should be the focus
that's rlly kinda it for 12 hours of watching and the rest has all been flashbacks, mysteries of the past, and talking about things that we are still waiting for answers to
Goodness ! We're already half way through yet there's so much to happen. I feel like the later episodes will be…
someone can plz tell me if i'm wrong but I do not think there actually was any editing down for this drama to get a smaller episode count, I think it was always 24......someone confirm????
it doesn't feel it has been edited down too much. really it feels like some scenes are stretching on for too too long and being repetitive, so opposite problem. but that's why it is even weirder that they might cut out some important scenes like the GZY one people were talking about π€ but maybe the writer just made that decision for w/e reason
Weβre already half way through but I feel like this drama shouldβve been longer!! I feel like instead of having…
i was ok putting up with her comedic scenes cuz I thought they would bring more to her later but still halfway through they are continuing to use her for a mood lightener π
i'm not mad for having a naive and trusting ML character, I think it's nice. I love GZY and I love zhang ling he but I feel the writing could have been a bit better. he is too much of a passive character. there is a way to write a naive and goodhearted character without making them seem totally oblivious and giving them so little to do in the plotline. I think that might be what some are frustrated with. it's not about "red flag vs. green flag" or hating green flag characters, it's just about the writing
in a drama like this full of intrigue and mysteries it's definitely more interesting if your main characters have lots of involvement in that kind of plot but bc of how they wrote GZY he is a little TOO..........how do i say it, it's like the gears in his head aren't turning π
On ep. 7 / donβt want to complain but β¦.in my opinion this drama is pretty good however they talk too much…
i like the drama but I do find myself putting on 1.5x speed which I never do. if I watch at night at regular speed i start going π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄
From the beginning they had different motives, and they both wouldn't have hesitated before killing the other,…
I get your points i don't disagree w. you about them having different motives. it is not them being on diff sides that bugs me, in fact I like the tension btwn them but i feel it has proceeded quite predictably and w. not as much of an emotional motivation as I wanted. I think SGQ character has just become very very one-note and flat and as much as I loved the actress before the performance is very one-note too. it's like there is one emotion from SGQ and GSJ 95% of the time and it is ARROGANT and it has gotten annoying to watch lol
I think they are sweet but i'm mad they seemed to skip over the "getting feelings" part too fast. especially for YWS i feel I don't understand the extent of feelings she has.
