Thank you, Skye and J-iN, for all your hard work! This site is one of my Must-Visit everyday.

I am assuming that the DF videos here contain commercials/ads since they charge Premium membership to watch ad-free. (I have DF Premium)

-Crazy, evil cunt: Im sorry your daughter died because of me, lets be friends again ! -Spinless female lead: No…
Even if you have such a low opinion of this drama, there is no need to use such language ;)

Thank you, All! for your comments here. I was going to pick this as my next drama, but not anymore. I did enjoy Yellow Boots … and, just finished and loved Nirvana in Fire. So, this one is definitely out.

This would have been one of my favorites ... except for Park Min Young who has become an "actress I totally avoid." (just my personal opinion)
On The Return of Iljimae Mar 12, 2016
I've tried and tried to get into this drama. After a 5th try last night, I thought to myself, "No more wasting my time!" One blogger praised this drama for the music score, cinematography, good pacing of story, and "pretty solid acting." Many other dramas had better music, cinematography, etc. And, "pretty" is right, but not as applied to the acting, but to Pretty Boy Jung Il-woo, who in my opinion cannot act. The above-mentioned blogger, BTW, did not like Lee Junki's Iljimae. I disagree with her … I finished that drama and thought the time spent was worthwhile (although Han HyoJoo's acting was very "stony").

I’m slowly watching Fermentation Family the second time since mid-June; in addition to all the other comments,…
You are the 1st one I've run across who mentioned the cinematography in this drama being Outstanding ... Totally agree. For some reason, perhaps the title "Fermentation Family," this one has received too little attention. I rated this a 10.

Woah, Lee Seo Jin with UEE? So much age gap.
There are way too many K-dramas having a 10+ age gap between Male and Female Leads > I may skip this drama just because … :( too bad; I would have watched just for Lee Seo Jin. Another type drama I avoid is Noona romance. Seems to me the trend now is: Casting for dramas is based more, or even strictly, on popularity … must every drama have an Idol?

Even though many people like me probably cant ever get past the element of adultery, that is not the point of…
I watched Kim Hee Ae in My Man's Woman and she was superb in that. She is one of the best actresses.

I agree with you! And sadly I think most of the drama's aren't that good.. and that's why I decided to watch thriller…
Have you try watching Sorry, I Love You? So Ji Sub is absolutely amazing in that drama. It does have a sad ending, but do not let that stop you from watching because it is one of few dramas with all these elements: great script, cinematography, fast pacing and SUPERB acting by the whole cast.

Agree on all three. I dropped Master's Sun after watching 8 eps … too bad since Gong Hyo Jin and So Ji Sub are two of best actors in my opinion. As for YWCFTS, Kim Soo Hyun is not one of my favorites (sorry, Banana-chan) … his acting is too "wooden." The Reply series does not interest me although I did try watching all three … my high school days are (sigh) so long ago.

I almost dropped Kill me, Heal me thanks to the lead actress. Only picked it up a month or two later and forced…
I've been avoiding KMHM because of Hwang Jung Eum. I thought she was great in Can You Hear My Heart, but overacted in Giant. Is she better in KMHM ... should I give it a try? (was surprised to see she was in Last Scandal … guess I don't remember because of Choi Jin Shil who was superb)

Okay. I have absolutely no sympathy for the family. Living for free for 10 years and now refusing to move out!?…
They did not live "for free" … they paid with hard work. If you remember from watching the drama, the land was just a piece of "scrubland" … basically just dirt and wild vegetation. The Family worked hard and turned it into a productive farm with a Pear Orchard and raising ducks AND a house they built themselves. And the owner wanted it back in "As Is" condition which was worth a lot more?!

this was very good drama...It got a lot better in the last third...never got boring, although it is long...I skipped…
I have finished 30 eps and now need a break. I totally agree with you that " … the many side characters … seemed like just filler." Also, your comment about Joo Won's acting is right on target. He is one actor I feel is overrated.

I decided to watch this because it was a recommendation on Sorry I Love You which I love but this drama is nothing…
After reading your comments, I will not be watching this after all. Sorry, I Love You is one of my "10" rated dramas. Thanks!

I dropped this drama not because it was not good, but because I got tired of watching the same dumb AT&T ad before…
how's that? I started watching Hwang Jinyi, but after 2 eps, I decided not to continue. The age difference between Ha Ji Won and Jang Geun Suk is too much for me, esp he's a Pretty Boy … too bad because I like Kim Jae Won … maybe someday go back.

I think I seriously need a break from Dramas, esp K-dramas.

not sure … maybe dramacool.com. Google search the title and add "watch online" = that's what I do.

Biggest reason for dropping is: unnecessary violence … against anyone. I will drop a drama like a hot potato if there is more than one guy and more than one punch thrown … okay, I will tolerate 2 guys and 2 punches thrown. What turns me off is a scene with a gang of "bad" guys beating up the "good guy" for too long. Kdramas tend to drag out violent scenes … "stop it already, we get it!" I can put up with makjang a lot more easily than overdone violence.

I I found this drama while browsing at another website. The synopsis sounded intriguing and I have bookmarked it. After reading your article, this is a Definite Plan to Watch! Thank You.

Why are so many Taiwanese dramas based on foolishness and immaturity? When are fully grown actors going to be…
You are so right in your comments. I am a Taiwanese-American although have lived in the US for over 50 yrs now. Ever since I can remember, movies/dramas from Taiwan have always been subpar due to the "immaturity" in the writing ... plus many of the actors/actresses do not know how to act, maybe due more to poor script rather than inability. Another thing about T-dramas that really annoys the heck out of me is the unnecessary constantly playing background noise/music?.

Having said all that, I did enjoy Autumn Concerto and Hear Me (an outstanding movie).
