Currently in Encounter the mains have 12 years age gab (here 13)but gender reversed and I didn't watched it but…
Yes, it doesn't make sense because you haven't perhaps experienced or known related negative precedents. Society always depends upon past experiences to define stereotypes.
Like I remember, my father mentioning that an old professor, in his 80s, just married his student who is in her early 20s. His perspective was that he wants to enjoy his last years but because of the multiple generational gap, whatever she does or shows in public is deemed inappropriate and the man is helpless about it.
For me, perhaps it won't matter for most such aspects but old people have to show decorum and lead the younger generation by example in our society.
For me it was a disaster, watching each episode was a torture I just kept up with due to not having any other alternative. Half way I couldn't take it anymore and dropped it.
Its a good drama but somehow the premise is something I didn't like perhaps due to the supernatural aspect. So skipping all that changing appearances, everything else was fantastic. Even the second couple was great.

Cultural differences are like that. For example, a romance between an older lady and younger male will be frowned upon in my society and reverse, though acceptable, would be eyed as suspicious.
A so so fare. It failed to captivate from the beginning and remained with the same temp throughout. The romance was lackluster and the plots non-immersive. Its a watchable fare when you are looking for a school rom-com.
It says the ratings are 8.3 atm. What was it last month lol?
Yes, its just like why would you watch show X when your favorite show Y is also airing in the same time slot. SK is a small country with few local broadcasting channels and fewer people who watch shows with other languages. In my country, we watch all kinds of shows, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Turkish, Urdu, Hindi and English Dramas. 1000s of broadcasting channels are at our disposal. So accounting the total audience of a show makes that rating system incompatible. Best to judge a show by sites like this one and user opinions. I haven't even watched the show yet, I just have downloaded it. It seems good enough for a watch, and I will surely comment on it, once I finish it. Thus, comments here are better than any viewer ratings.

Those are transient as there are other factors as well. Like how many even better shows are running on the networks in overlapping time slots. You can't associate those ratings for overall show experience for all time but you can phrase it like: the show was poor in comparison to shows running on the networks when it aired.
They crammed too much in the few minutes it lasted. The whole episode was full of plot holes.
The FL ML reconciled, the whole scene seemed too easy with not much feelings. The reason presented was also something like they came up at the last minute. Usually that reason entails a lot more drama and plot for resolution.
Similarly Hye Jin story was handled carelessly, thus ending up in a very open ended manner. The actions she took and the times between them were completely undefined. It was like they tried to convey the character's story by showing the peaks but had to skip on the how and why to achieve it.
We also couldn't know where ML ended up aside from the romance.
This was a drama including all of their friends but few got closure.
Overall it seemed that the series was originally meant to be longer but was cut short before production began. Thus the writers tried to cram all the good stuff at the end. The plot leading to the conclusion perhaps couldn't be cut short, if conveyed.
AI Global handling was so lackluster, how could they invest just like that when they spun such a deep web with MW... Simply defies imagination... I guess it follows through with the foreigners are scum bags and foolish stereotype I have experienced with all but one k-drama. Well the drama turned so so when the initial time loops ended anyway...
The FL is too stiff, even the kisses were unfeeling, like kissing a statue. Even K-Dramas' zero movement kisses put this drama to shame... The ML was trying his best but because of the unnatural expressions of FL, it all felt very awkward. The hugs were also too awkward. I mean what drama can't do hugs right? I found Er Xi a cute friend on the side and the three friends of the ML were very interesting. The whole plot of the game company was also very nicely produced.
Yeah, its my first C-Drama too after many many K and E-dramas. I find the romance rushed at the start. The RL story isn't very interesting in the beginning either. The VRMMO life is almost always very interesting, just unfortunate as it disappears in the second half.
A mix really. Past timeline is extremely tragic. Present is good.
They are not together after all the girl has the other lead as the lover in present. But they meet n talk, reminisce. The drama remains captivating till the end.
